One of those family-run osterias where the food is good and tasty, the portions are generous, the prices are decidedly fair and reasonable, and the staff is exquisitely kind. Highly recommended.
The seasonal, locally sourced vegetables are wonderful. Excellent homemade pasta, and the desserts are both homemade and from the Marigliano pastry shop in San Giuseppe Vesuviano (for those unfamiliar with it, it's excellent and renowned). Thank you, and see you soon.

Claudio and Laura's helpfulness and humility meet every need and taste... On April 26th we celebrated my son's first communion. We ate beautifully, the service was excellent, the portions generous, from appetizer to dessert, everything was excellent... we booked for my daughter's confirmation in twenty days because we had such a great time...

30/05/2026: I booked, counting on a confirmation phone call the day before. A confirmation text with a link to the parking lot... well, listen up! I arrived and the restaurant was closed. This had never happened to me before. I'm sorry if something unfortunate happened that prevented it from opening, but a warning text could have been sent.

27/06/2026: In a secret garden in the beautiful Sermoneta, nestled between medieval walls and an ancient citrus grove, we enjoyed a delightful experience of authentic and delicious flavors. A warm welcome from the entire staff rounded off the evening, which began with a delicious tartare with fried egg that surprised us. A special mention goes to the grilled chicken and the incredibly fresh grilled porcini mushrooms. Congratulations! We promise to return!

31/05/2026: Excellent platter, and the beer, even on tap, wasn't great. What surprised me was the Campari Spritz, which I've never seen served in such a small glass...and it cost 7 euros. If you want me to come back, change your glasses; these tricks will only cost you customers.

12/04/2025: Il locale, permeato di storia, così si chiama in omaggio al papa Bonifacio VIII Caetani che proprio vicino a casa mia a Roma fece edificare il Forte Cartani sulla via Appia Antica. Il servizio è affabile e si mangia una buona cucina genuina

19/12/2024: Onesto, veloce, cordiale e di ottima qualità. È da tempo che non scrivo una recensione così, veramente 10 e lode. Anche la location è impeccabile e il proprietario è davvero una bella persona. Complimenti!
15/12/2024: La relativa difficoltà a trovare questo ristorante della periferia sermonetana, è compensata dall'ottima qualità del cibo,dalla bellezza rustica del locale,dall'efficiente servizio!! la pizza alla capricciosa che ordinato io,era enorme e squisita,ma anche le le altre che mi hanno fatto assaggiare lo erano!!! Gli antipasti erano molto buoni,per chi vuole poi,c'è anche un maxi schermo per vedere le Partite di calcio della Serie A. Da quello che ho potuto vedere e sentire ,anche la pasta e la carne erano buoni...da provare.

12/05/2025: Siamo stati domenica 11 maggio con un gruppo di 40 persone, cosa dire??Tutto eccellente, accolti calorosamente dalla proprietaria e dalal sorella ma coccolati anche da tutto il personale. Cibo ottimo dall'antipasto ai 2 primi piatti, il secondo poi, una grigliata di carne superlativa!!!
Era la prima volta ma per come siamo stati trattati ci torneremo sicuramente sia in gruppo che singolarmente
