13/08/2025: The place is cute but small, with a view of the fish counter, but it's not your typical restaurant. If you're expecting affordable prices, though, you're in the wrong place. The food quality is good, but the quantities are meager and the presentation is basic. All things considered, I don't think I'll return.

02/05/2025: Very welcoming staff, a rich and vast menu of sandwiches for all tastes and affordable prices. During peak hours you may have to wait a bit due to the influx of customers including workers and students but given the quality this is to be expected. Located near the Sapienza University and the post office centre, a must for those who choose a quick and tasty lunch.

21/07/2025: This is my second time staying at Monica's, and I hope there are many more! The place is incredibly clean and charming, with amazing dinners and breakfasts! Everything is homemade, simple and high-quality! Only 800 meters from the sea, so you can only get there by car or bus, though; the road isn't suitable for walking or even biking. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time! Excellent value for money! I recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much, Monia, and all the staff, who are truly kind!

17/07/2025: We just returned from a week's vacation at this property. Monica is a very welcoming host. The cuisine is excellent and varied, with plenty of homemade produce. Dogs are also welcome. The beach is easy to reach, as the bus stop is right in front of the gate. We'll be back soon.

26/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant on the slope to Cala Nave with a wonderful view. We ate here four times in three days on Ventotene, and there's a reason! There wasn't a single dish we tried that we didn't enjoy. Among the best were the almond-filled prawns, a real treat; the mussel soup, excellent; the seafood scialatielli and the spaghetti with sea urchins...a feast of flavor. If you also love raw fish and pizza, don't miss the Mastaniello, with tuna tartare, burrata, and caramelized onions...wonderful. The prices are perfectly in line with the excellent quality, unlike other restaurants on the island where, despite the great quality, the prices are exorbitant. The only flaw is that there isn't another location closer.

We didn't even get to try the pizza, because the wait was interminable: rightly so on Saturday night there is only one person to roll out and put it in the oven, which is simply absurd for a place that decides to stay open on the weekend. We settled for two first courses, but the result was even worse: inedible dishes, which we left there. The icing on the cake, the arrogance and rudeness of the owner, totally incapable of managing customers and the dining room. A restaurant like this shouldn't even have the pretension of calling itself such. I will remember the name of the place so I never go back. P.S.: did the chef give you back the €50 or did he collect it himself? What a terrible story to include on your resume.

06/08/2025: Excellent seafood cuisine in generous portions, excellent service, and a delightful location. The "Antipasto degli artisti" (a series of hot and cold seafood dishes) is highly recommended; one is enough for two.

05/08/2025: We went for dinner; the location is certainly very charming, but it wasn't balanced by the food. They served us eggplant parmigiana that was dry and burned, a lentil soup that was neither praise nor infamy, and barbecued red sea bream that was served cold. Special mention should be made of the rudeness of the sommelier, who, when we asked for protection from the wind, offered a blanket. Definitely not up to expectations.

31/07/2025: We have dined at EEA every year for the past few years. It never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious and the setting is beautiful. Thank you again for our waitress (Rajuvita? We know whe have this wrong, but we hope she knows who she is. Lovely Indian woman), who has always been super professional and an absolute delight. We look forward to returning next year.

30/06/2025: For the umpteenth time a pleasant surprise! We returned after a few years and ate for the first time on a wonderful panoramic terrace and we were served very well. In particular thanks to Gianluca who knows how to pamper his customers in a very professional way.

17/06/2025: Good entree, appetizers, seafood salad and shrimp tartare you could feel that the raw materials were of quality to follow we had spaghetti with fish ragù and with anchovies and cherry tomatoes, as a second course slices of roasted fish fragolino sea bream and cod. Too much blue fish on the menu (three dishes) the flavors from appetizer to second course not memorable nothing that makes you want to return.

11/08/2025: We start with excellent fried appetizers, then Puccia buttero with exceptional dough and perfectly cooked pulled pork, and a delicious draft beer.

23/08/2025: We went to PACCHERO SOLITARIO for the first time, intrigued by the Leopardi-esque name, which sounded like a classical high school specialty. Chef Claudio, in fact, studied classical studies. It's one of the best Italian and European seafood restaurants I've ever tried. Exceptional.

22/08/2025: August 21, 2025. A Thursday evening. My birthday! Passing through Aprilia with my husband and mother-in-law. Everyone was visiting a friend. We ate from appetizer to dessert. We drank exquisite wines. We were immediately greeted with a phrase: "You're welcome!" The service was equally professional and warm. Every dish was of the same standard: freshness, shape, and excellent cooking. I don't know which dish to recommend; I could have chosen everything! There were four of us, and with two bottles of wine, water, four appetizers, four first courses, two second courses, one side dish, four desserts, coffee, and Moscato Pantelleria, I spent €91 each. True, it's not a bargain, but it's not a huge expense given the quality. We all want to return. Highly recommended. Thank you.
