Today, Serafina lives at Via Axnur 95 in Terracina and owns an excellent artisanal pizzeria. The pizzas are decidedly extra large, very large. The dough, made using the old Neapolitan method, has a rich and delicate flavor. The service is rather quick, friendly, and kind. The restaurant is typical of 1970s trattorias, clean with few frills. Reservations are required to secure a table. They also offer takeout. In conclusion, what can I say? I've put your phone number in my favorites list. I give it a 5-star rating. See you next time.

07/12/2025: Let me start by saying that I absolutely hate not having my pizza on my plate (or on MY cutting board, if it's pizza by the slice), and this really threw me off. It's acceptable at best for a family pizza party. The prices are high, a fact emphasized by the lack of commercial beers. It's fine to offer a selection of excellent craft beers for connoisseurs or those curious to try them, but there are also those who would settle for a Peroni or a Moretti to accompany their pizza... a Nastro Azzurro if they really want to go all out! This strange omission significantly increases the already high prices.

Service is unfortunately slow, taking about an hour for the pizza, and the atmosphere, while very refined, is noisy (the low ceiling certainly doesn't help, as it amplifies normal conversation).

26/09/2025: We tried the restaurant, staying at the hotel, with the à la carte menu. The view is the most beautiful on Ponza, a marvelous terrace overlooking Chiaia di Luna beach. The menu is different for lunch and dinner, both satisfying. The prices are obviously high, but for the location and the quality, they're justified. The service is perfect, very professional. For dinner, we tried the fried calamari and grilled calamari on a potato cake, both excellent. The salad was also a surprise. The dessert was a bit disappointing. For lunch, the spaghetti with clams and bottarga was excellent. And so was the seafood salad. A feast for the eyes and the palate.

20/09/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm not interested in denigrating anyone, but rather in encouraging improvement. I'm giving it two stars because you expect more from a four-star hotel restaurant. The location isn't enough—it's very beautiful, and the ambiance is also very good—but the rest is needed. The service could be improved, especially regarding the cutlery arrangement and maintaining the same non-standard servings for two people. Then there's the food. A dish that "ran out" at 8:30 PM should be removed from the menu, and you shouldn't wait to be asked to tell us so. We ordered two first courses, which, based on their names, raised certain expectations, but the flavors were very distant and basic (the base was tomato, and that was basically all we could taste). Then there was the fried fish, which left us unsure about the freshness of the fish, but that's an unprovable feeling. Then there was the side salad (mixed salad with citrus and dried fruit) that tasted like coarsely chopped, bagged salad from the supermarket. With water and a half bottle of white wine, we paid over €100 for two. Now, if you want to stay in that price range you have to raise the quality bar!

19/02/2026: The only pizzeria in the area where you can eat near some hotels. And after reading the reviews, I head there with confidence. Upon entering, it looks like it's going to be a good evening; I see a tap with good beers and two pizza chefs near the wood-fired oven. At 7:30 PM, the place is empty with only one table occupied, so I have no problem choosing a seat. I immediately order a medium beer, one of my favorites, and sit down. From my seat, I see the waitress preparing to make the beer without even briefly purging the tap. When she's finished, she takes the sponge used for the beer bar and carefully cleans the glass—not just the base, but the entire glass, right down to the rim, where you then put your lips to drink. She brings it to me as if nothing had happened. I point this out, and the usual excuses and half-truths begin: no, we only use the sponge for glasses, no, I didn't clean the rim, no, I just dried the base... However, to tell the truth, she offers to remake it. My mistake, I gave up in despair. I ordered the focaccia pizza with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes anyway, and asked for cooked ham. It was a traditional pizza, good dough, but it was a shame that the oven wasn't hot enough yet, as the pizza base was raw, unlike the well-cooked crust on top. Never mind, I got up to pay, but I pointed out that I hadn't had the beer. And here's the final surprise: obviously, in addition to having the beer on the bill, the pizza cost three euros more than the list price for three—I mean, three thin slices of cooked ham on top! What a shame, it could have been a great evening, and since I'm here for work for a week, I could have been a regular, but that's certainly not the case!

19/07/2025: Quando varchi l'ingresso della pizzeria di Ciro Astarita ti senti a casa. Per il calore con cui Ciro ti accoglie e per l'atmosfera che si respira nel locale. Un impasto ben lievitato, un ottimo equilibrio tra gli ingredienti, il profumo del basilico. L'arte della pizza si affina con l'esperienza e il sacrificio e Astarita la esprime con un'eccellente interpretazione.
