01/09/2025: I had lunch there yesterday on the recommendation of a friend. The place is nice; they have a fishmonger's shop that isn't open on Sundays, so they're focusing on the restaurant side of things. I have to say, it makes a good first impression; the decor and bright colors make it cheerful and welcoming, in my opinion. It was also crowded, so I thought, "You must eat really well here!" Okay, I ate well: the chicken salad was very good, the scampi cream risotto was just the way I like it, and they have an incredible selection of desserts. Except my lemon delight was a popsicle inside. Also, the portions, in proportion to the prices, weren't very generous. The octopus and rice were really small; the rice was just two handfuls, and for €14, I expect something more. As for dessert, next time I recommend revising the timing, especially since the owner, I'm told, is Neapolitan, so who better than him knows the texture of that wonderful dessert? But if you serve it frozen, you honestly won't make a good impression. A word about the staff and service: definitely fast, professional, and very kind. That said, I don't think I'll go back; I spent too much, and, I repeat, the portions didn't impress me. Trying is believing.

06/08/2025: A family evening. The simple and quaint restaurant, the friendly staff, and the owner make you feel at home. The set menu offers endless courses, including excellent paella and crema catalana, and the sangria served in a bucket. The all-inclusive menu at €25 is truly excellent value. We'll be back often. 13/09/2025: I was there the other night and ate very well with a friend of mine, except that one of the waitresses had made a mistake with the first course and, instead of glossing over the situation, pointed it out to me, insisting that she absolutely had to be right. Basically, even if I don't do this job, the customer is always right, or at least it would have been enough to negotiate a misunderstanding (my friend there had clearly heard me say I wanted an amatriciana). I wouldn't recommend it because of the rudeness of this staff member. Update to respond: Your response is increasingly convincing me of what you wrote: isn't that your philosophy? So I think you're in the wrong line of work. This response doesn't do you any credit at all; on the contrary, I find it arrogant, and I think anyone reading it will think the same. As for the repercussions on the girl, I, for example, have been working in high-level television since I came of age, and I myself get reprimanded if I make a mistake. It's part of life; there would have been nothing wrong with that. Mistakes happen, and persisting like that wasn't nice. An apology from you would have simply been more elegant. Oh, and finally, my family, so to speak, is very good friends with the Borghese family, to make a name for themselves in the restaurant business. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to customers and restaurants, alas.

02/06/2025: Coerente con il suo ruolo di pizzeria-trattoria di quartiere, questo locale si distingue per l’accoglienza calorosa e la disponibilità del personale, sempre pronto a soddisfare con gentilezza ogni richiesta. Tuttavia, dopo diverse visite tra aprile e maggio — sia in coppia che con amici — ho avuto modo di provare un’ampia varietà di piatti. La pizza romana si conferma l’unico vero punto di forza: sottile, croccante e ben condita. Qualche primo piatto si difende, ma gli antipasti risultano deludenti i carciofi alla giudia L'arredo, ormai datato, contribuisce a un’atmosfera che avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Se piace la classica pizza romana ( anni 70) consigliatissimo , per il resto anche no.

25/02/2025: A hidden pearl in the Villa Spada neighborhood of Rome. Right where you don't expect it, this little neighborhood bar with surprising cuisine is located. Thanks to the cook who, however, from fresh news, seems to have flown to other shores... too bad. Because it's not every day that you eat "restaurant-style" food in what, all things considered, isn't even a trattoria, with an environment that to define as spartan is an understatement, and a decidedly "unlucky" location (of course, either you go there on purpose or you don't get there). Trust him, it's really worth a visit.

19/06/2025: Very clean and welcoming environment, very friendly staff with a lot of choice in products, particular attention to freshness and quality. I would add without a doubt the best coffee in the entire area. Absolutely worth trying.

17/05/2025: We only tried the coffee and I have to say it is one of the best in Rome. Courtesy and excellent service. The setting offers a small journey through time among the icons of Naples, between Totò, Peppino and Maradona. Very convincing! 5 stars.

16/07/2025: The traditional Roman first courses are excellent, having tried them on two occasions, both times very satisfying. I tried the cacio e pepe and the tonnarelli aglio olio e peperoncino, and they were truly delicious, al dente and spicy. I had some concerns about the second courses (the boiled meatballs were good but very dry). The restaurant has a very pleasant, well-ventilated outdoor area, with tables arranged so as to maintain appropriate social distancing. The staff is friendly and helpful.

30/07/2025: A very well-run pub. The food is good and they have excellent beers. There's a big screen for watching games and sporting events. The owners are really friendly and professional. They have outdoor tables on a quiet street and it's very comfortable.

17/08/2025: Apartment open until 2:00 a.m.... Wrong. It's not even 1:00 a.m. and it's closed. I'm willing to admit they're (maybe) on vacation, but it would be nice to mention it... Too bad.

02/09/2025: Terrible experience. Disappointed by the service, which was practically nonexistent; the waitress only took our orders after we called her several times. The tagliatelle with wild boar was extremely tough and flavorless. We couldn't order a main course or a side dish because no waiter came to the table. After a 40-minute wait, we left, having made a terrible impression on our host. Everything needs improvement: politeness, courtesy, and the food.
