15/07/2025: Our recent visit to this establishment revealed a number of noteworthy aspects, both positive and, unfortunately, negative, that deserve a thorough examination. The initial welcome was less than stellar. Despite a verbal greeting upon entry, the two people at the bar did not reciprocate, giving the impression of a lack of customer service. The ambiance is undeniably pleasant and characterized by a pleasant atmosphere. However, greater attention to detail and improvements are needed. A significant inconvenience was the presence of numerous ants at our table, which objectively compromised the comfort of the evening. On the culinary front, the appetizers were generally enjoyable. However, I would like to express a reservation about the involtini, which, although I cannot evaluate them with technical expertise, did not meet my taste and seemed less than optimally executed. The carbonara was rated positively, as were the main courses and dessert. The dining room service seemed excessively rushed and insistent. The waiters' constant and visible haste to clear tables detracted from the enjoyment of a relaxed experience. The ability to linger at the table with other diners is a fundamental aspect of quality dining; in this case, the dinner concluded with appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert in less than an hour, giving the experience a dynamic closer to that of a canteen than a restaurant. The wine selection by the glass deserves particular attention. The white wine was mediocre in quality, while the red was frankly undrinkable, ranking it as the worst I've tasted this year. While the staff's willingness to collect it and not charge for it was appreciated, I believe such a low-quality product should not have been offered to customers, suggesting a likely internal awareness of its poor quality and perhaps an underestimation of the average diner's wine knowledge. Finally, the dining room staff's training in wine service requires significant improvement. I witnessed with considerable disappointment the opening of a bottle of white wine with unacceptable brutality and sloppiness, followed by the glasses being filled almost to the brim—a practice completely inappropriate for wine unless it's New Year's Eve. This indicates a clear lack of professional training. I would, however, like to acknowledge the kindness and professionalism demonstrated by the non-European member of the dining room staff. The bill was correct.

17/08/2025: One of the few Neapolitan pizzerias offering a light and digestible dough, without that annoying rubbery feel. Friendly, family-friendly service. The fried foods are also excellent, though pricey for the oil: the quality of their ingredients deserved better. The prices are absolutely affordable, especially considering the area.

09/09/2025: A very nice and welcoming atmosphere, but it's a shame about the food and service... We had an all-you-can-eat menu for €29, advertised and sold as "all-you-can-eat with typical Roman cuisine." It's a shame that the appetizers included: Sausages and broccoli rabe (Neapolitan cuisine) Meatballs with ragù (good, but my grandmother in Pesaro makes them better) Two dried sausages Vegetable parmigiana Boiled vegetables and meat (typical of southern Italy) Battered vegetables with a garlic sauce (obriobriosa) Sliced ​​meats (two slices of prosciutto, mortadella, and salami) The only truly typical dishes were the Roman tripe (not even good) and two supplì with pecorino sauce (these were very good). FIRST COURSES: We chose a carbonara and a matriciana. We went out for a cigarette, but when we returned, we had to wait at least 15 minutes for our dishes to arrive. Both dishes were chewy and overcooked, lacking any Roman flair (the carbonara from Poggio di Cagli is ten times better). We left both first courses on our plates, telling the waitress we didn't like them. We continued with the second courses, however, and were served three beef sausages, which, besides not being particularly good, also didn't fit into the typical Roman tradition. When we reached the cashier, the waitress, knowing we hadn't liked the dishes and had mostly left them whole, approached the cashier and gave him our table number, pretending not to have heard of what had happened. All this to say that the restaurant is advertised differently than what it actually offers, and honestly, we expected a discount, or at least not the waitress's indifference. When we mentioned this to the cashier, he replied that they come from all over Italy for their first courses... I couldn't believe it, because I've tried Roman cuisine, and this was the worst place I've ever eaten "typical Italian cuisine." All in all, we spent €80 for two, plus two still waters and an off-menu house wine.

10/08/2025: Enchanting place....the only downside is that to find a spot in the morning, you have to wake up at dawn. Despite this, it's worth seeing!!!

16/07/2025: Non un vero e proprio ristorante, molto più simile ad una trattoria vecchio stampo per i locali che offre, per i bagni ritagliati in pochi metri quadri, per lo stile vintage a dir poco di sedie e tavoli, per la caratteristica posizione interna ad una via appena dietro Piazza Navona: Navona Notte, ridenominata anche Senza Fondo, ti permette di assaggiare ogni tipo di tipico piatto romano grazie alla furba quanto intrigante formula All You Can Eat (a soli 19.50€ a pranzo, 25 a cena e nei weekend/festivi sempre). Le pietanze vengono servite in piatti da assaggio, in modo che ognuno possa testare un po’ tutto, sebbene la qualità non sia delle più eccelse, anzi… Presentazioni rivedibili, gusti lontani da quelli della tradizione: se dovessi scegliere, meglio i secondi come il saltimbocca e la polpetta al sugo piuttosto che primi come la cacio e pepe e la gricia, mentre piu accettabili mi sono sembrate essere carbonara e amatriciana (piatti comunque più ricchi e difficili da “sbagliare” in toto). Servizio altalenante, dipende da chi siete serviti: c’è chi è molto professionale e chi è più “ballerino”, ma nel complesso reputo l’esperienza fattibile proprio per la formula che offre. D’altra parte, accontentandosi e non cercando nulla di particolarmente elaborato, qui con 21€ a testa a pranzo si può uscire felici, sazi e carichi per ripartire a visitare Roma!

09/07/2025: My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! The location was unmatched with SO many food options right outside our door. The rooms were so clean, beds comfortable, and a great view. The waters and coffee provided in the room were a fantastic touch as well, and the staff was always friendly. The included breakfast next door was wonderful— be sure to try the orange juice. It was the best I’ve ever had! We arrived a few hours before check in and were able to leave our luggage, which was very appreciated. I look forward to staying again when I can make it back to Rome!

20/07/2025: They got my pizza wrong, bringing me the one with sausage and fries, which is usually eaten by children, instead of a simple red pizza with ham. It wasn't easy to get it wrong. They kindly remade it for me. I waited the necessary time, and a pizza with ham arrives, but white instead of red. Naturally, I ate it without saying anything. The pizza was huge and of poor quality. Two pizzas, plus a fried dish for two, a pitcher of beer, and a amaro, €47. A bit too much.

19/07/2025: The service is sometimes a bit rude and slow, but the food, especially the pizzas, is excellent. The appetizers are delicious, and the pizza, for its size and quality, is something I can't find anywhere else.

08/09/2025: I had breakfast at Pasticceria Andreotti and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly kind, especially the guy who made me a cappuccino. I chose a pistachio-filled cocoa pastry, a specialty of theirs that I'd never seen anywhere else: delicious! It resembled a muffin, but with the fragrant pastry of a cocoa croissant and a delicate, indulgent pistachio cream. The cappuccino was also excellent. The lady at the counter was kind and explained the pastry to me; I'm always very cautious about "new" things. I couldn't have made a better choice! The price was very fair: €3.50 at a table. An experience worth repeating.

The atmosphere can be noisy or quiet depending on the type of customer. Unfortunately, the rude staff are rampant. Last time, it felt like we were on the set of Viaggi di Noce.
