18/08/2025: Good pizza. Strange order management. It seems like it's a problem to order takeout. It's not possible after eight, and even before that, fried foods are reserved for tables. Reasonably priced.

13/07/2025: Nice restaurant, not very professional staff, perhaps booked for the Fallacciano fig festival event. We had asked for draft beer with the pizza so it wouldn't heat up, but it arrived early and full of foam. We had to ask for a refill because the glass was half full. Regarding the fried appetizers, they forgot part of it, so we asked again, but while the others were eating, someone was waiting. We waited a while for the pizzas, and when they arrived, there were 5 of them, and 6 of us. My friend waited for at least ten minutes while everyone else was already eating. Furthermore, some were very burnt on the edges. Let's say there's always room for improvement. The owner is very kind and welcoming, we "stole" the figs from the tree 😅 but with his consent. And since we came to see the festival, he suggested that if there wasn't any space in the center of town for the car, we could bring it back to the restaurant's parking lot because he would leave it open for anyone who wanted to park during the festival... a very nice gesture.

01/08/2025: I had dinner with my boyfriend and we ordered a raw fish appetizer, two main courses, and then we split a first course and a sorbet. The food was generally good: the raw fish appetizer was good, the grilled fish was also good, the fried fish was truly terrible, and the first course of the day was nothing special, especially for €25, a price we hadn't noticed otherwise we never would have ordered it. The other first courses were all between €16 and €18, and we were also thinking that, having ordered them afterward without a menu in front of us! The sore point of the experience was the final bill. Having ordered two main courses, we decided to split a first course, asking for just one. The sly waiter told us, "I'll split it for you so you're more comfortable." The same went for the sorbet. We asked for one, and he again said, "I'll bring it to you split so you're more comfortable." These portions were obviously paid for (even though we never asked for them). The first course of the day cost €30 (€15 for 2) instead of €25 (which is already an insane price), and the sorbet, which he claimed was €6 (obviously the price wasn't written anywhere), cost €8 (€4 for 2). A terrible impression to get €10 out of us. Half portions are fine, but you have to ask for them. If the waiter offers them, he should let you know. They weren't offered to us, but forced on us. I thought it was a kind gesture, but it was just a vulgar way to get a few extra bucks. We booked with The Fork with a 30% discount, but the final bill was still €100. For what we received, it was really a bit excessive. I forgot, we ordered two sangrias, which cost a whopping €9 each. Obviously, the price wasn't written anywhere.

09/07/2025: Very nice restaurant, with a small dining room, but I personally prefer it to the huge dining rooms often found at all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants. The lady serving the tables is very kind, quick with service, and always polite, never intrusive or rude. We've been several times, always for lunch, and I've found the dishes to be very good, the fish fresh, and the portions well-balanced. I've read that some people complain that the rolls sometimes fall apart; I think it happened to me with a couple of rolls at most, but it never affected the taste of anything I've eaten. We'll definitely be back because we've truly enjoyed our meal every time.

08/07/2025: Most amazing food!!! The lobster linguine is amazing!!! We paid $5000. For tour that included several meals, after 1st tour meal we decided to come back here and pay for our own food!!!

08/07/2025: This was the first restaurant we visited on our trip to Rome. They very easily accommodated a group of 10 people on their rooftop dining. The food was delicious and the service was even better. I would highly recommend.

29/08/2025: I took some American tourists there a while ago. They were thrilled, and so was I. Some peculiarities: closed on Sundays, a six-digit phone number (excluding the area code)... It feels traditional. I like it a lot. Then there's a side street off Via XX Settembre, where, however, it's completely quiet and truly pleasant. The owner is very kind; it's a trattoria that's been open for 50 years, and you can tell. I'm only writing now; I've recommended it to everyone we've talked to about restaurants in Rome.

24/06/2025: Good pizza by the slice. We came on a somewhat crowded evening, but the guy at the counter managed to handle it well. Good pizza, low and crispy. Classic supplì a little too unclassic. Compared to the traditional Roman, these are meatless and the breading has been revised to increase the crispy effect.

03/08/2025: Osteria Mamma Mia in Flaminio offers cuisine that remains firmly rooted in Roman tradition, with dishes executed with precision. However, I was expecting a personal touch or something that would distinguish the dishes from the capital's typical offerings. ​The service was friendly, but not always attentive. The wait for the rest of the bill, which I had to request, was a minor complaint. I also felt they paid too much attention to regulars, an attitude that risks making the place feel a bit too "neighborly" and less welcoming to first-time visitors. ​In conclusion, this is a typical Roman osteria, neither good nor bad. Suitable for those seeking traditional flavors without pretensions of originality.

02/08/2025: It leaves you in a good mood. Elegant yet familiar atmosphere. Tasty gratinated red mullet fillets accompanied by a fabulous mix of seafood appetizers! Everything was super fresh. To finish, zabaglione ice cream with TOP caramel strands. Friendly staff, especially Angela! Perfect in her role!

22/08/2025: I often go to this place for both lunch and dinner. The pizza is very good, as is the hot food. The staff is polite and friendly. A special mention goes to the girls Pamela and Simona...very kind.

25/08/2025: The food itself was edible, although for the prices they charge, there are better deals at better places in the area. The main problem was the service, especially not the waiters but rather a medium-sized, hairless man working the register. While my friends and I were eating, he kept yelling at the restaurant staff, disrupting our evening. Do yourself a favor and don't come.

08/08/2025: I'm sorry, but this isn't quite right. I never write reviews, but this time I have to tell it like it is. I arrive at this BEAUTIFUL location, see friendly and helpful waiters, read fabulous reviews, and thought, "PERFECT"! From the entire menu, very nice with a wide gourmet selection, I choose the most basic and classic items, where you can't go wrong: a supplì and a red mushroom dish. The pizza had a strange dough, more like a biscuit, the sauce and mozzarella were watery and, unfortunately, tasteless, they didn't mix well. I was quite disappointed... I console myself with the mushrooms; at least they're always good, even if they're few... I dive into the supplì, a Roman specialty I'm very fond of, and... nothing, a sad-looking, greasy little thing. I tasted it and it was a salt bomb that covered the flavors, the rice sometimes raw... Unfortunately, I feel like I'd be ashamed if a tourist were to eat here because it doesn't reflect good Roman cuisine in the slightest. I hope, however, that I was unlucky, because otherwise the excellent reviews from other customers can't be explained. Since we're Italian and used to eating well, I can only assume I was unlucky. I'm giving it 3 stars because the location is truly delightful and the staff is kind, but I definitely wouldn't go back or recommend it to my Italian or foreign friends.
