04/09/2025: Great espresso. Non-dairy milk options are soy and rice. Chocolate chip and pistachio gelato flavors are delicious. Room in the back with murals, a half dozen tables, and precious air conditioning! Friendly service.

01/09/2025: The place is nice, I was worried about the noise of the centrifuge being too loud, dispose of it and replace it with something better.

21/08/2025: We stood out like sore thumbs as asians, but the waiter was patient and even offered to help us split our dishes to 2 shared portions without extra costs. Food was great and atmosphere was fancy, but I would have definitely love to come here with a local.

21/08/2025: A lovely place nestled between Tiber Island and Trastevere. It's a shame that, like almost everything in the city center these days, it's a place exclusively for tourists who like to splurge. Although the dishes are good, the price/quantity ratio is inversely proportional, so much so that the main courses cost the same as the first courses and almost the same as the appetizers. About €20 for less than 80g of pasta and 3 shrimp... OK if you're from Massachusetts, but my mistake, living here, I tried to trust a place "in the city center."

22/08/2025: The food wasn't made with love. We ordered a burger, a pizza, a wrap, and bruschetta. The pizza was a frozen pizza and had nothing in common with a real Italian pizza... the pulled pork wrap had a lot of salad and very little meat. Furthermore, the "bruschetta" was simply topped with pesto and had nothing to do with real Italian bruschetta. The burger was also very poorly prepared, and the fries were undercooked. By far the worst restaurant we've had after Pisa, Florence, and Lucca...

21/08/2025: Overpriced and dishonest service! We sat down to have two coffees and two Pepsi, and they charged me 20€ plus service tip if we want. Waiter did not leave me any bill, he just came to our table and said all of this 20e. At first he was very friendly but now I see why. Now I’m checking the prices and realizing they overcharged me by almost 10€. This feels like a scam. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

19/07/2025: This pastry shop and café is conveniently located, offering plenty of parking nearby. In warmer weather, the large terrace is perfect for relaxing al fresco. The pastries are excellent; I particularly enjoyed the whole-wheat croissants and the chilled mineral water, both still and sparkling, is available to customers. The staff is very friendly.

Warm environment, with attention to detail, with a quiet and no-frills atmosphere. The staff is kind, attentive, present at the right time. The cuisine is the real strong point: traditional dishes, well executed, with clear flavors and quality ingredients. You can feel that there is passion behind every course. The recommended wine was perfect to accompany dinner. Fair prices, generous portions, punctual service. A restaurant where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity and taste.

I stopped by for a solo lunch and ordered the meatballs with oxtail sauce, paired with a glass of the house white (Bianca)—and I’m still thinking about it. The meatballs were rich, hearty, and absolutely bursting with flavor. The oxtail sauce was a revelation—deep, savory, and full of character, like it had been slow-cooked with love for hours. Accompanied by perfectly roasted potatoes and sautéed greens, the plate was rustic Roman cuisine at its finest. The crispy flatbread served on the side added a perfect crunch and was ideal for scooping up every last bit of sauce. The house white wine was crisp, well-balanced, and a perfect companion to the dish—refreshing without overpowering the flavors. The setting? Pure magic. Sitting al fresco, watching the world go by on a historic Roman street, with the soft echo of laughter and conversation around you—it’s what dining in Italy should feel like. Especially the lovely lady at the counter was full of energy, delivering the best customer service and she even treated us to free pastries! We left feeling really happy and cared for. Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: A wonderful discovery! The beach was spotless, as were the loungers and umbrellas. We found the atmosphere quiet and truly comfortable, with friendly staff. We booked a table at the restaurant for lunch and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, and we ate deliciously, with excellent value for money, which is not always a given these days. Kudos to the sommelier: he was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and knows how to put guests at ease. In short... we chose him by chance, but from now on, it's our little corner of paradise in Maccarese. Thank you!!!
