24/05/2025: Let's start with the positive things: the family atmosphere, the service, the house wine, the carbonara (one of the best I've ever eaten), the delicious coratella. The tripe, the oxtail and the boiled meatballs were good but average. Negative judgment for the pandorato but especially for the saltimbocca, immersed in the broth. Very good prices.

24/05/2025: On Via Francigena, we entered the first cafe in Monterosi. The space was comfortable and everyone sat down to eat, drink, replenish supplies and go to the toilet. We all arrived at about the same time and the clerk was very patient in helping everyone get their pilgrimage stamps.

16/07/2025: I purchased a fruit cake from this pastry shop for the first time for a family event. The cake was beautiful and delicious, but there was a small misunderstanding about the price per kilo at checkout. Shortly afterward, the shop manager contacted us, apologizing for the incident and inviting us to come back and refund the difference. We were very impressed by this professionalism and customer service. Kudos to Mr. Fabrizio for his honesty.

30/06/2025: I recommend this quality pasta for a cheap price, but the pizza was frozen, so it was the fault of the person who didn't see it... There's nothing I can do about it... The drink, Aparollo, was delicious... but the pizza was really disappointing. Other than that, it's great value for money!

26/06/2025: The worst “pizza” I’ve ever had. In fact it was not a pizza, but a piadina sold as a pizza. I entered here because I was tired and hungry and even though I noticed some red flags I thought a pizza is always good, even if it’s not the best, but what I never expected was to be served a piadina! My girlfriend ordered pasta alla gricia but the pasta was well overcooked and the sauce was a mess. I don’t recommend anyone to visit this place, even after eating the fake pizza I was going to pay and say nothing since I ate anyway but at that point they tried to make me pay for the seating when I only entered the restaurant because outside was clearly written “Menu for 10,99€”. Knowing this was an illegal practice I stood my ground and didn’t have to pay it but for the poor tourist visiting Rome this is a pure scam. Just a message to the owner: it is illegal to say the menu is for 10,99€ and at the same time adding a fee for the seating if it’s not specified outisde or clearly specified anywhere else. Stay away guys!

24/08/2025: I kindly ask you to reevaluate the work performance of the woman who worked at the McDonald's drive-thru last night around 3:00 AM. Simply because my friend (a foreigner) was ordering in English, the woman got upset and didn't let us proceed with the order (we wanted to order other items, but she decided the order should be stopped because she felt we were making fun of her). I will send a letter to McDonald's Italy, as this episode of racism towards non-Italian speakers was disgusting.

02/06/2025: Coerente con il suo ruolo di pizzeria-trattoria di quartiere, questo locale si distingue per l’accoglienza calorosa e la disponibilità del personale, sempre pronto a soddisfare con gentilezza ogni richiesta. Tuttavia, dopo diverse visite tra aprile e maggio — sia in coppia che con amici — ho avuto modo di provare un’ampia varietà di piatti. La pizza romana si conferma l’unico vero punto di forza: sottile, croccante e ben condita. Qualche primo piatto si difende, ma gli antipasti risultano deludenti i carciofi alla giudia L'arredo, ormai datato, contribuisce a un’atmosfera che avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Se piace la classica pizza romana ( anni 70) consigliatissimo , per il resto anche no.

18/06/2025: Fantastic experience! Nice atmosphere and courteous and impeccable service. The tasting menu for €50 per person, drinks not included, offers an appetizer, two half first courses, a second course, dessert. They also served us a pre-dessert, a white chocolate treat with melon and ginger that I would simply call illegal for its excess of goodness. I had read complaints about the small portions: in fact, it is all so good that you would eat exaggerated quantities! I assure you, however, that at the end of the meal you abundantly reach the feeling of satiety. Excellent wine cellar.

14/08/2025: An old-fashioned establishment without too many pretensions, but that quickly fades into the background when the food is good and the staff is competent. The prices (for me, coming from Milan) are ridiculous, so I'll be back every night. Highly recommended!
