09/12/2025: During an evening stroll through Vicenza among the city lights, a friend and I stopped at this historic venue we already knew, and once again it was an excellent choice. We discovered that on Fridays they host live music evenings, which look really great: we'll definitely be back just to try them. As for dinner, it was excellent value: very good food, generous portions, and fast, efficient service. Everything arrived on time, without any waiting. Special mention to the manager, who was truly friendly and empathetic: he welcomed us with great availability, immediately accommodating some of my order requests. I really liked his informal and warm manner, immediately addressing us informally, which created a relaxed, welcoming, and not at all impersonal atmosphere. We felt at ease from start to finish and had a truly enjoyable evening. An absolutely positive experience: a place that combines good food, a convivial atmosphere, and great courtesy. We'll definitely be back, especially on Fridays to experience one of their music evenings. Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

11/11/2025: A Fairytale Banquet at "Trattoria la Baracca" 💖 We chose "Trattoria la Baracca" to celebrate our love on our most beautiful day, and the experience was simply fantastic! From the very first moments, the staff's passion and attention to detail was evident in every detail, from their precious advice on choosing the menu to the enchanting tablescape. Every corner reflected the refinement and originality we desired for our special day. We had no doubts about the quality and deliciousness of the cuisine, of which we are already loyal customers. The simple dishes, prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients, were a celebration of flavor, presented with a refinement that amazed everyone. We felt pampered, just like our 14 guests. "Trattoria la Baracca" accommodated every wish, even magnificently accommodating our vegetarian and vegan guests. It was a day where everything was perfect, a memory we will always cherish. Thank you for turning our wedding reception into a true love story!

28/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Al Pioppeto restaurant, and I must say, without hesitation, that it was a simply wonderful experience! I have rarely found such a perfect balance between quality ingredients, masterful preparation, and a warm welcome. From the moment we sat down, there was an air of authenticity and care. The service was impeccable, attentive yet discreet, contributing to the extremely pleasant atmosphere. The evening began with the appetizer, a selection of fresh and authentic flavors that perfectly whetted the appetite. Every element, from the cured meats to the cheeses, was of the highest quality, a true triumph of local products. Then came the first course, a dish that left me speechless. The pasta was cooked to perfection, al dente as it should be, and the sauce was rich and enveloping, demonstrating a refined culinary technique. It was all delicious, a taste of pure tradition elevated to an art. ​The second course met, if not exceeded, expectations. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, masterfully cooked, and accompanied by a fresh, crispy side dish. A robust yet elegant dish that perfectly rounded off the main course. ​And what about the wine? The selection was excellent. We opted for a local red recommended by the sommelier, whose bouquet paired perfectly with each course. A true touch of class that further enhanced the flavors. ​In short, Al Pioppeto isn't just a restaurant; it's a true celebration of fine dining. I ate an A, meaning absolute excellence! You leave the restaurant feeling like you've experienced a special moment. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking cuisine where passion and quality are the true protagonists. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to return.

17/11/2025: Among the most typical and beautiful taverns in Vicenza, where you can eat really well both typical local dishes: bigoli with arna, cod, rice etc etc and the meat. Since the manager is of South American origins (Ecuador), they make the cuts of meat with being in Aegentina. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: We were two of us on Saturday evening, having made a reservation. Renato greeted us in a very kind and friendly manner. The decor is rustic, with truly unique and vintage pieces, but the atmosphere is that of an elegant restaurant. Renato himself treated us with kid gloves, explaining the dishes and, most importantly, explaining that everything was homemade, from the bread to the fresh pasta, and that the vegetables came from their own garden. The fireplace was beautiful, where he and his colleague (the only ones serving) cooked the meat and polenta squares themselves, which were incredibly crispy and not greasy. The quality of the dishes was truly high, and there was a wide selection of wines as well. If I had to find a small flaw, it might be the slightly expensive price: €93 for two appetizers, a soup, a first course, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water...but these days, prices in more refined establishments are like that. Still, it's recommended, keeping in mind that the menu includes several Calabrian dishes, not just Venetian cuisine.

09/11/2025: A pleasant discovery in this welcoming, homey trattoria. We had bigoli with duck and fettuccine for dinner, followed by two rosemary-flavored steaks and a variety of side dishes, which I'd say were plentiful. The food was truly delicious and flavorful, the service fast and attentive. Excellent value for money. Prices like this are truly rare these days! Not to mention the portions were not small at all, in fact! Definitely worth returning.

24/11/2025: We dined with a large group, many of whom wanted to try cod Vicenza-style for the first time. Everyone was very satisfied; the food was excellent, the quality was excellent, and the service was attentive to our every need (there were about twenty of us). Highly recommended!

18/11/2025: I have to say the cod is amazing, excellent, and very flavorful. The service was also excellent, with fast and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the only downside was that at one point during the evening we ran away due to the confusion and noise caused by a group of 20 people. I prefer to eat quietly, but I repeat, the cod was excellent.

05/12/2025: A craft beer haven in a rather industrialised and pedestrian-unfriendly area of Vicenza. A good choice of beers on tap and a decent offering of tasty and reasonably- priced food to accompany your drink. Friendly and attentive staff. Recommended!
