30/04/2026: Truly beautiful location, surrounded by green hills, with large windows for a great view. The menu offers a wide selection. Delicious dishes are prepared with great care. The plate was even reheated to keep the meat nice and warm. Great numbers!

13/06/2026: What can I say? Everything was excellent, from the helpful and smiling waiters to the food. Every dish you choose will be delicious! The place is very spacious, well-kept, and clean. The only shame is how far it is, coming from Switzerland. Otherwise, we'd be here every week! But if we ever pass through again, we'll definitely be back!

04/05/2026: Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. I went for lunch and chose the "Initiation 1" menu. Overall, the experience didn't convince us. Of the approximately ten courses, only a couple of dishes seemed truly good, particularly the mozzarella with tomato water and the wood pigeon pâté with hazelnuts. The rest of the dishes were unmemorable, and in some cases even unpleasant: for example, the tomato bresaola had a rubbery, unappealing texture. The service, while always courteous, was also occasionally imprecise. Some questions about ingredients, such as the olive oil varietals or the provenance of the prosciutto, went unanswered by the wait staff. Furthermore, small details like the management of the water at the table, which I poured myself several times after having to get up, or the bottle of wine (kept far from the table), made the experience less comfortable than one might expect. The first course was the most critical: one of the spaghetti dishes was very salty and undercooked, so much so that it was reported, but it wasn't replaced. The risotto was slightly undercooked, though overall it remained acceptable. Among the second courses, the wood pigeon breast was, in our personal opinion, rather bloody and not particularly tender. The lemon mousse before the dessert was good, however, while the desserts didn't leave us with a positive memory, either in terms of presentation or taste. On a positive note, the corkage fee, which was kindly offered to us, was a bonus. In short, it was an experience that didn't satisfy us and, considering the context and expectations, we believe could be improved in several respects.

26/04/2026: Exceptional experience. Outstanding food, an explosion of well-balanced flavors that make you think, "I don't want to finish this dish, I'll savor it very slowly." Intimate, quiet, and clean atmosphere with excellent taste. Outdoor terrace with additional seating. Impeccable service. Knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous staff. Top-notch wine list. What more can I say? Thanks to the owner, Luca, we'll definitely be back!

20/04/2026: We've eaten at this restaurant several times and have always been delighted. Yesterday, we celebrated my daughter's confirmation. The aperitif served on the terrace was a huge plus, appreciated by everyone. Some of our guests chose the meat and some the fish tasting menu, and all the dishes fully met our expectations. Each dish was a true experience of flavors, with excellent presentation and quality ingredients. Great attention was paid to even the smallest details and requests. The service was impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. Additionally, one thing I particularly like is that this restaurant is run by a young team: Luca, a brilliant young chef who offers modern and highly refined cuisine, and Giorgia, the focal point of the dining room, who recommended and introduced us to excellent wines ranging from Veneto, Piedmont, Sicily, France, and Argentina. Among all the excellent dishes, I'd like to give special mention to the "risotto with saffron, licorice, and scallop" and the "wild boar fillet with mashed potatoes and raspberries." The dessert, "wild berry panna cotta with berries and brownie," may seem like a predictable dessert, but it was truly amazing and garnered compliments with every spoonful. Finally, thanks to the entire team who did an impeccable job and made yesterday truly special. Luca was a great host who, at the end of the meal, knew how to entertain us even outside the kitchen. Claudio (an exquisite, kind, generous, and welcoming person) and his impeccable staff, both polite and attentive, have created a refined and harmonious atmosphere where you feel welcomed and where the soft colors evoke spring. A warm, extremely clean, and meticulously maintained environment. The food never disappoints, especially the fish, which is of excellent quality and freshness. Scialatielli with fresh fish is inimitable. The fried food is the best I've ever eaten. Not a drop of oil on the plate, clean, crispy, not at all greasy, and very light. This is only possible when the oil is of high quality and is constantly changed. Thanks to everyone and many compliments. See you soon.

The dishes are carefully prepared and well-prepared, but for the price and reputation, the flavors and pairings are "classic." Good wine selection. A very positive note: the dessert was amazing, the best dish. The fettuccine with truffle was also good. I'll leave the bill, including the complimentary liqueurs!

03/05/2026: Antica Trattoria Due Spade is a restaurant in the center of Sandrigo and is considered a historic spot for cod cuisine in the area. I should start by saying that perhaps I had too many expectations, and based on my experience, the restaurant didn't meet them. The restaurant's decor is a bit too vintage, making it seem a bit dated. Unfortunately, however, the food was the biggest disappointment. The pasta with asparagus was almost drowned in a lot of cream, completely covering the flavor of the asparagus and pasta, which were both good quality. Perhaps a throwback to the 1980s that didn't convince me. As for the cod Vicenza-style, I appreciated the lack of garlic and onion, but overall, I wasn't impressed. Another sore point was the taste of the polenta. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with my experience at Antica Trattoria Due Spade.
