07/04/2026: A lovely place to stop for a bite to eat while hiking in the mountains. The food is excellent and everything is locally sourced. Outside, there are animals—sheep and horses—and you can admire the natural surroundings.

22/03/2026: A lovely mountain hut located about a kilometer from the main road leading to Cesena. The cold cuts platter was delicious, as was the lamb stew, as was my wife's plate of tosella, polenta, and mushrooms. Definitely worth a try.

25/04/2026: Trattoria specializing in gnocchi. They're exceptional. They melt in your mouth and aren't heavy. I tried the ones with meat ragù and the ones with ragù del cortile in bianco. Both were excellent. The polenta pasticciata appetizers with Vezzena cheese and mushrooms were delicious. The venison with herb mustard was excellent. The service was excellent: organized, efficient, and friendly. The place was clean. Nice atmosphere. Fair prices. I'd love to return.

03/05/2026: Antica Trattoria Due Spade is a restaurant in the center of Sandrigo and is considered a historic spot for cod cuisine in the area. I should start by saying that perhaps I had too many expectations, and based on my experience, the restaurant didn't meet them. The restaurant's decor is a bit too vintage, making it seem a bit dated. Unfortunately, however, the food was the biggest disappointment. The pasta with asparagus was almost drowned in a lot of cream, completely covering the flavor of the asparagus and pasta, which were both good quality. Perhaps a throwback to the 1980s that didn't convince me. As for the cod Vicenza-style, I appreciated the lack of garlic and onion, but overall, I wasn't impressed. Another sore point was the taste of the polenta. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with my experience at Antica Trattoria Due Spade.

18/04/2026: You should all know that the cod with risotto and steamed cod is truly excellent. Everything was perfect until the moment of payment. We asked for the bill. We were told VERBALLY!!! and discovered that the price was fixed, the same for all diners, with no way of knowing the details. We were speechless, because the staff was kind, the food excellent, but the final result was anything but transparent. Think about it.

07/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant almost by accident and it was a wonderful surprise! Everything was fantastic. The atmosphere is very cozy and well-maintained, the food is delicious. We opted for the tasting menu so we could try as many items as possible. There was a lot of care and love put into the dishes we ate. The service was disarmingly courteous; it's one of the few places where you can still feel and see the passion for their work. We'll definitely be back to try the next seasonal menu.

24/03/2026: Very nice restaurant, spacious with large green areas, tables, and truly lovely decor. I'd like to return because if their menu is good, the à la carte dishes must be even better, at least I think so. The bad thing is that the owner isn't very friendly to foreigners. In fact, there were three of us. They came in before me and went straight to a table. I came in afterward because I stopped to take some pictures at the entrance. Then I saw the lady and asked her, "Can we sit where we want?" And she said, "Nooo, I'll seat you, but there are three of us and they're already seated..." She said, "Oh, I thought you were alone." What? If I was alone, did I get special treatment? The worst part is that I asked for half a liter of wine and she said they didn't sell it, but I saw three tables with pitchers of wine in bulk and I told her so. Then she made up some excuse about how they pour the bottles into pitchers, which is unbelievable. I don't understand why they open a public place and don't treat their customers the same way. It's a real shame.

03/05/2026: Chef Formaggio and his young team deliver the best in every way: excellent meats cooked to perfection, tasty and original first courses, perfect cod... a cousin that perfectly combines traditional dishes and seasonal vegetables! And to finish, don't skip the desserts: if you're a sucker for gelato and black cherries, don't hesitate! If you like pastries of all kinds, indulge in a truly rare selection in a restaurant! It's a shame we're not close by because I'd love to return often :)
