When we called to make a reservation, we were told that in the winter they make all the fresh pasta with eggs, they add pork rinds to the beans, and we'd only be eating polenta and radicchio. Okay, another wasted opportunity.

03/01/2026: I'd been gone for 30 years. The owner, Michele, has remained the same. An extraordinary person. Obviously, the place has been renovated, but the cuisine remains authentic, good, and carefully prepared. I should start by saying that I'm not one to give compliments because I'm strict about the food. I recommend you book and try his cuisine.

The first course was fettuccine with game ragù, and the second course was a beef fillet cube roll—both were very generous...had I known that, I wouldn't have ordered both. 🙂. Very good. As were the side dishes: baked potatoes and creamed polenta. Coffee and sorbet to finish. A liter of water and a quarter of rabosello were included. The bill was €34: excellent for the portions. A wonderful experience. And special mention goes to the staff in the dining room, who were quick and kind. And compliments to the waitresses: very nice, which doesn't hurt at all. 😉 Thank you very much, and see you next time. 🙂👍

26/12/2025: We chose Le Vesco Vane Restaurant for our family Christmas lunch, drawn by the location's excellent reputation and the idea of ​​spending a special day in a refined setting. The location is indeed beautiful, elegant, and welcoming, perfect for a festive occasion. The service was also good overall: the staff was friendly, attentive, and organized despite the typical Christmas Day crowds. Unfortunately, however, we were somewhat disappointed by the overall quality, particularly the wines served at the table and the sparkling wines, which didn't live up to expectations or the setting. Considering the occasion and the restaurant's caliber, we would have expected a more carefully curated and higher-quality selection. Overall, the experience was pleasant in terms of the ambiance and service, but the quality didn't fully meet expectations, especially for a Christmas lunch that should stand out for its attention to detail and high-quality offerings.

29/12/2025: The atmosphere was pleasant, a bit chaotic, but that was certainly thanks to the Christmas holidays. The food was satisfying, especially the main courses: the staff was kind enough to provide me with a vegan platter with various side dishes and beans, all very good.

The spit-roasted meat is highly recommended, prepared to perfection: it brought back truly special childhood memories. An experience worth repeating!

05/01/2026: Gui Lin is the best Chinese restaurant in Vicenza. I've known them for twenty years. The owner is a real hoot. Very friendly. You have to be a little patient if you come for takeout without calling first (so it's best to order by phone first). Forget the sushi, come to Gui Lin. ❤️❤️❤️🔝🔝🔝
