Excellent meat, ok price, just a bit noisy environment, cheerful but not intimate

It's been a while since I've been there, but once again I was more than satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food served. The trattoria is very well known in the area and has offered a menu with excellent value for money for several years. It can't be compared to a restaurant, but you don't come here to look for the best etiquette, but to enjoy good company and have fun with friends. In fact, the building mainly features a very large room where everyone eats together and another smaller, more "quiet" one. The final price is more than fair. Given its fame, reservations are required well in advance (at least 15 days). I personally highly recommend it.

Even though it's a trattoria known for its grilled meat, as a vegan, I really enjoyed their tortuous dishes! I've always had polenta, mushrooms, and fries as a staple, but on one occasion they also had peppers—everything was delicious!

All the staff were welcoming, the food was good and plentiful, and the price was very good.

What can I say...it's always better...they've improved the quality of the meat, side dishes, and wine...it was already excellent before...fast service despite the crowds. Superlative portions, great price. Let's hope they stay that way. Stefania is amazing!!! Obviously the room is full and there's background noise. But that's how it is there!

Monterondo is a trattoria spread across a single large room, but there's also a smaller, more secluded dining room. Because it's a single room, it's often difficult to understand each other while talking to others at your table due to the echo of other people's voices. Aside from this downside, the meat is out of this world. They bring so much of it that you can't always finish it. Luckily, they're well-equipped to provide you with foil and bags to take it home. And another positive note is the prices! Generally, with meat, wine, water, medicine, and coffee, the price is €20/person. When you're craving meat and don't want to be pretentious, this is the best place! Been here twice already.
