22/09/2024: Personale maleducato. Sembravano scocciati nel darci un tavolo, ancora da pulire, degli ospiti precedenti. Arrivo con i miei genitori anziani e li faccio sedere aspettando ci puliscano il tavolo. Passano tre camerieri per varie volte e non vi guardano nemmeno. Dopo averci detto che il tavolo era quello. Passato 15 minuti, ci alziamo e andiamo via. Uno dei camerieri vedendoci ha anche sbuffato, perché forse dovevamo attendere in piedi. Per carità, mai più .

28/08/2024: Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren und auch diesmal war es keine Frage wo wir hingehen. Leider hat sich das Preis Leistungsverhältnis verändert. Portionen sind kleiner geworden, der Preis gestiegen. Leider nicht mehr unsere erste Wahl. Nach einem ausgiebigen Abendessen gab es früher einen Grappa aufs Haus.

21/06/2025: Fortunatamente ho girato un po di ristoranti e pochissime volte mi sono trovato in una location così bella, romantica e affascinante: abbiamo avuto la fortuna di mangiare in uno dei tavoli della loggia ed è stato veramente fantastico, avevamo il tavolo praticamente sul lago. In tutto il locale si respira un'atmosfera di classe ed eleganza senza però essere troppo impostata, un'atmosfera intima e rilassante. Servizio puntuale e perfetto, giovani e cordiali, un servizio attento e veloce. L'aspetto negativo purtroppo è stato il cibo, ho mangiato benino e, dato il prezzo di ogni piatto (dai 35€), mi aspetto piatti eccezionali che purtroppo non ho trovato sia nei sapori che nell'impiattamento. Capisco che nel prezzo è compresa la location bellissima ma mi concentrerei anche sulla qualità dei piatti dato che si parla di prezzi da ristorante stellato. Materia prima buona e fresca ma che la cucina non è stata in grado di valorizzare infatti sia gli spaghetti ai ricci di mare che il tonno avevano sapori abbastanza piatti. È un peccato perché hanno un potenziale altissimo, avvantaggiati dal posto bellissimo, dovrebbero puntare ad una cucina più attenta.

31/05/2025: Bewertung zur Taverne: Schöne Location, das war s dann aber auch schon. Tuna Tataki unterirdisch, schlechte Qualität Thunfisch, sehnig, schwierig zu schneiden. Preis: 35€! Rindertartar war in Ordnung, für 25€ erwarte ich aber auch hier deutlich bessere Qualität und Geschmack. Softdrinks extrem teuer, z. B. Cola 7€! St. Christina Lugana (Flasche) war vom Preis her fair und sehr lecker. Fazit: keine Empfehlung!

30/03/2025: Dos de nosotros disfrutamos de la cena en este restaurante. Vimos una oferta especial anunciada fuera de pizza margherita o lasaña más tiramisú y café expreso por 13 . 90 euros por persona. Pedimos uno de cada plato principal y luego los compartimos! Aunque tuvimos que pedir esto ya que no estaba en el menú que nos dieron una vez sentados dentro. La camarera también intentó vender más preguntando si queríamos un entrante y recomendando el más caro y lo mismo con el vino! Aparte del ligero empuje, la comida era deliciosa y de gran relación calidad-precio y un sabor definido de la cocina italiana.

21/03/2025: Este es un restaurante familiar justo al lado de nuestro hotel. El servicio era bueno y amable, la comida era excelente. Es un poco estrecho en el espacio, de lo contrario todo está bien. La pasta es excelente y la sopa llena de verduras.

01/05/2025: Al Ristorante Serenità l'ambiente esterno è sempre piacevole e gioioso , in particolare modo per chi ha bambini. Dispone infatti di un grande giardino sempre ben curarato e ben disposto . Oggi sono stata con la mia famiglia per la Comunione di una mia nipote. Mi dispiace però sottolineare che il servizio non era come sempre eccellente e professionalmente preparato, in quanto non era presente la responsabile di sala la signora Erminia. Lei rende tutto molto più servizievole e posso aggiungere che ha sempre un occhio di riguardo in più sui clienti , è simpatica e molto disponibile. Le sale ,oggi, erano piene e forse anche per questo il servizio non era prestante come sempre. I ripassi sono stati fatti in una tempistica sbagliata e sui tavoli mancava spesso acqua e il vino bianco non era fresco. Erminia per noi è un punto di riferimento importante e appreziamo sempre tanto la sua gentilezza e capacità organizzativa. "A lei non scappa Mai niente!" Elena

22/04/2025: I strongly recommend sea food chips. My son also liked döner with french fries. It was more delicious than döner in Germany. Local beer was very tasty. Staff was very kind and supportive. In general, it worth to eat here these delicious fish and chips with shrimp, calamari, cucumber and tempura style crispy vegetables. Just awesome 😎 thanks. We went 2 times already..

14/06/2025: Different management to last years. Rarely seen so unmotivated staff. No difference tra Prosecco and vino frizzate in price, so my glass paid probably for the whole barrel 😅 no music or DJ as it used to be with old management. Very sad.

11/06/2025: I don't agree with the excessively negative reviews.... I had a good time... Obviously the prices are high but it certainly depends on the location and the high management costs... Well done and keep it up.

18/06/2025: TOTAL ABSENCE OF CUSTOMER WELCOMING. As soon as we arrived at the cash register we ordered a piadina and a peach tea. From the very beginning the cashier seemed grumpy (perhaps because of her unhappy life) and after a quick look in the drinks fridge, we were told that the peach tea was finished. When at least 5 bottles were clearly visible. After I tried to point it out, she didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and took the money from my hand, with the voracity of a vulture in the savannah. Unfortunately this is only the beginning of the story. In fact, after waiting over 30 minutes for the piadina to be prepared, we were given a bag containing a Nutella piadina and a piadina that was completely different from the one we ordered. Once we pointed out the inconvenience we were accused of having ordered that piadina and of having left a piece of paper with the order number on the counter. Which is impossible given that this shop doesn't operate through receipts. Even though we had demonstrated with our receipt still in hand that the piadina was another, the accusations against us continued. Until two girls approached and confirmed that that order was theirs. After all this I still haven't received an apology. I would like to pay compliments to the workers, but above all to whoever chose to hire them. I hope that the manager makes a good choice, that at least this time he does the right thing. OBVIOUSLY WE WON'T GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

13/06/2025: If “eating a good good piadina” literally means eating just the bread, then you are in the right place. Be careful because sometimes they might mistakenly add some toppings. In that case, feel free to spend the other half of the day in line to ask to remove it (the first half spent waiting for the order). Jokes aside, the selection would also be wide and varied, if only it were worth it in terms of quality/price ratio. Instead, they get basic empty piadinas, to which you can add a little topping (not too much, otherwise they risk running out of it, eh) by paying extra.

23/06/2025: We showed up at 12:30 following a reservation made the day before through their website. We go in and they tell us that we have to wait outside because the waiter hasn't shown up yet. After half an hour of waiting outside in the heat, two of the people who were inside the place come out (we assume the manager and the person in charge of the cashier) and leave without saying anything to us. At that point, not receiving any instructions, we decide to leave. We would have appreciated at least an update.

15/04/2025: Domenica sono stato al Catullo per la colazione ottima vasta scelta di dolce e salato e...tutto quello che vuoi abbiamo così dimenticato che la giornata era piovosa. Si al Catullo perché anche se non soggiorni in hotel puoi consumare una ottima colazione che non trovi in altri posti .Favolosa

17/06/2025: The food was average (I didn't feel like I was in Italy), and the service was poor, but that's not the staff's fault. How could it be good if they had them walking from one restaurant to another all night? But the worst thing, something I've NEVER seen in my life, even though I've traveled across much of the country, is that they charged me €4.50 for olive oil when they brought us bread (I've attached a photo of the small plate where they served the oil). I wouldn't go back. THE RESTAURANT'S REPLY MUST ADD THAT THEY NEITHER OFFERED ME NOR BROUGHT ME THE FOCACCIA THEY MENTIONED. WE LITERALLY PAID JUST FOR THE OIL!!!

The dishes are traditional with a pinch of originality and some wink at the exotic world. Suitable for vegetarians, meat lovers or those who prefer fish… the important thing is to be lovers of good food. The atmosphere is enveloping, the products excellent and the important labels that always make the difference. A plus? It is located in the most beautiful area of ​​Verona, a few steps from the enchanting Ponte Pietra and then they are open continuously from lunch to dinner which does not hurt. A piece of advice? Let Max guide you, he will be able to indulge your desires and make your lunch or dinner unforgettable.

13/06/2025: The worst meal and service ever … The vegetarian lasagne was white, flavourless and inedible. One portion was cold. The food arrived before the wine. The wine they served was not the wine we ordered and the water was fizzy and not plain, as we had requested. The staff seemed to think this was one big joke; our own server whom we excused as having a bad day said she was actually having a great day as she was healthy and had three children!!! Arguably the worst meal we have ever had and the biggest waste of 80 Euros. Don’t bother visiting. They don’t care; they’ll serve you slop and expect you to pay handsomely. Diabolical and laughable.

01/06/2025: Ho cenato e festeggiato il mio anniversario ieri sera con tutta la mia famiglia! Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta sia del servizio ricevuto che del menù… che ho trovato squisito !!! La posizione del ristorante è deliziosa!!!Complimenti 👏❤️

10/05/2025: Our first time in Italy and Garda. The view from the restaurant is outstanding. Watching the sun sink behind the mountains leaving the sky painted in saffron and copper is truly a sight to behold. The setting and the beautifull restoration of this magnificent building set the scene but unfortunately for us that was where the fairytale ended. To say we were treated like second class citizens would be too polite. Yes we are visitors and with poor italian language skills but we tried to converse as best we could. The manager was all to busy looking after the patrons with obvious wealth to spend any time with us apart from looking frustrated that we taking up his time. The waiter although pleasant, unfortunately appeared nervous and out of his depth. The main reason to visit such establishments is for what you would only expect to be exquisite culinary fair. Unfortunately this was not thr case. Well presented but laking in flavour or execution, poor cuts of meat produced a tough texture. The scarcely accompanying vegetables were overcooked and laking any flavour. Dessert was pleasant but nothing really outstanding. For 150Euro I expected something better. I hope we just caught them on a bad night, however if you promote yourself as a fine dinning experience then that's what you should provide. Wealth, status or class should not be a requirement for which to be treated with respect or curtesy. We all pay the same and should be provided with the same service. I am disappointed to be writing this review as the expectation for a memorable evening out weighed the overall experience.
