La Tigella In Verona

The all-you-can-eat evening menu is really good. The cured meats are excellent, as are the sauces and cheeses for the dairy version. A nice idea for an alternative dinner with friends.

Came for the gluten free tigella. It was amazing! Had a bit of a panic when I, half way through the meal, saw that my friends gluten-tigella was a lot more dense than mine (which were soo soft and fluffy). But was assured it was correct, and as a very sensitive celiac I had no reaction. Come hungry, there is a lot of food!

Nice and welcoming place, very attentive staff, especially since I'm celiac and they asked me if I wanted the sauces just for myself or if I could share them. Obviously, I chose the former, as there could have been a risk of cross-contamination. The gluten-free tigelle are also excellent, and all the sauces are fresh and delicious. The vegetables and cured meats could be improved, but overall they're acceptable. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. The complimentary liqueur was very welcome.

The atmosphere is spacious, airy, and stylish. Service is fast. We had tigelle (with and without gluten) accompanied by various sauces and delicious cured meats and cheeses. A unique concept, highly recommended.

I had lunch at this restaurant a few days ago. The place is cute, tidy, and elegant. The owner is really kind and helpful. They offer an all-you-can-eat menu of tigelle and gnocco fritto, where you can choose from eight sauces and decide whether to have cured meats, cheeses, or vegetables. We opted for the cured meats. The tigelle and gnocco fritto were delicious; you can tell they're homemade, and they're served hot. The garnish sauces were good and tasty. The only thing I wasn't convinced by was the selection of cured meats they brought us. I was probably expecting a more curated selection, perhaps with more traditional local cured meats, but instead I found classic cured meats that I normally find everywhere. It's a shame because the concept is very interesting, but the selection of cured meats was very disappointing, and perhaps the quantity and price aren't exactly right. With a different selection of products, I would definitely have given it 5 stars.
