La Serenità In Valeggio sul mincio

Locale molto datato, arredi vecchi stile anni 50/60. C'è un grande parcheggio comodo alla struttura. Si mangia discretamente, vado spesso con famiglia e amici durante le ricorrenze ma dalle ultime volte ho visto un netto calo di attenzione e di qualità. Ultima volta il risotto era salatissimo e i tortellini al burro stracotti (o il cuoco non li ha assaggiati e li ha fatti uscire - che è male - o li ha fatti uscire senza assaggiarli, che è peggio) vino al tavolo di qualità medio bassa. Contorni da rivedere....alla vista veramente tristi, meglio al palato. Sui secondi ci si salva sempre, molto buona e tenera la carne. Personalmente più che la serenità è un po' una tristezza vedere un locale così ampio e con tante potenzialità essere rimasto fermo a 70 anni fa....se volete fare un tuffo nel passato dei vostri nonni qui è rimasto tutto fermo a quell'epoca.

Our relatives living in Verona decided for a family lunch here, and we were happy to be part of the experience. This is a huge place, ideal for receptions and other events with large and very large groups. On a regular Sunday, the menu is set, with a couple of first courses, a second course, fries and at least another type of vegetables as a side dish, plus mixed salad. The end piece is a dessert, we had ice-cream and berries, followed by espresso coffee. With a set price per person of 30€ (including water and wine), delicious dishes including the well-known Valeggio tortellini, this is a good deal indeed. Also, the staff is very helpful, and the location is gorgeous, right in the middle of the countryside and not far from the historic site of the battle at Custoza.
