12/12/2025: The restaurant isn't located right on the road, but enjoys a prime location atop a hill overlooking the valley and vineyards. There's a small private parking lot for 5-6 cars, but there's a parking lot 100 meters away. The restaurant consists of two welcoming, modestly sized, simply furnished rooms, with an outdoor area where you can enjoy an aperitif. We were warmly welcomed by the restaurant manager, who immediately seated us and clearly explained the day's availability, accommodating our needs. The wine selection is extensive. The quality of the food, the excellent presentation, and the family atmosphere made this lunch a wonderful experience. Excellent value for money.

28/10/2025: The food is good...I'd say it's an excellent restaurant with refined dishes, beautifully presented. The service is kind, polite, courteous, and very helpful. As for the atmosphere, I think a little could make a big improvement... In conclusion, we're not in a Michelin-starred restaurant, but we're not far off either... So, good luck with the star...and I'll definitely go next time.

23/10/2025: I am rating the food only. We ate here in 2022 and had to come back. The nonni hand make the pasta and desserts and they are fantastic. We came out of our way to enjoy a perfect meal. You have to order the ricotta cheesecake. And our waiter Alex is the best!

09/09/2025: I didn't stay, but I only ate in their restaurant, which is open to the public, and it was a real discovery. Authentic food, homemade pasta (gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts), seafood, both sea (octopus tentacles on creamed potatoes) and lake (lake appetizer and grilled char, boneless!), all exceptional! I drank both sparkling and still wine on tap, and it was as good as the best bottled wine. The portions were generous...obviously, I didn't eat it all alone; there were two of us. And the price was more than fair. Highly recommended.

17/10/2025: We only had takeout. The pizza was very tasty. The price was also absolutely reasonable. €8 for a Margherita, €14 for the most expensive pizza. We ordered from here twice and would do it again.

12/12/2025: A lovely and comfortable place, very well-kept both inside and out. The staff is kind and very professional. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations and the price! The portions weren't generous, the risotto was overcooked and flavorless, the turkey breast dry with two measly squares of reheated polenta, and the boiled meat where 3/4 of the dish was just pears. It was good, but the portion wasn't worth €20 a plate! It's a shame because the place is really nice. In response to the owner: he's got the wrong person, I'm not the gluten-free lady 😅. Anyway, learn to accept criticism as it's a sign of professionalism that helps improve the management of the place... it's just personal advice!!! 😉

26/08/2025: We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated right away. The service was very warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. The restaurant is very inviting, well-kept, and clean... all around, delicious, just like the pictures show. We felt at home.

17/02/2026: Hotel outside the town center, quiet location with friendly staff... simple but warm and clean room... food just adequate, arrived almost cold with small portions... low price but the hotel needs to be revamped in some areas... a lot of humidity everywhere

A spacious breakfast room. Decorated in a rather romantic, typically Italian style, yet modern and with a feel-good factor.

19/12/2025: An unforgettable experience! We chose Baita Calvarina for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The location is stunning, surrounded by greenery and boasting breathtaking views and sunsets that create a magical atmosphere. While it may seem isolated, this very nature makes it an extremely intimate and unique venue. Having a large family with many friends and many children, we needed large, safe spaces: Andrea and the entire Baita Calvarina staff were exceptional in accommodating us, creating custom-designed interior and exterior settings to entertain the little ones and make the adults feel at home. The real difference, however, was the professional management of the uncertain weather. Andrea had prepared three different options for us, ready to change anything even during the process. The food was excellent, with traditional dishes and locally sourced products that won everyone over. We felt truly pampered and cared for with a rare warmth, as if we were part of the family. This place has remained in our hearts: we will definitely return every year to celebrate our anniversaries here. Highly recommended to all couples looking for a unique setting and impeccable management. Thank you so much to Andrea and all the staff for helping make our wedding day perfect!

12/12/2025: I attended a wedding here in October and it was a delightful discovery. The location is a true immersion in nature, but what really makes the difference is the staff: kind, professional, and attentive. I've always suffered from a serious food allergy and, unfortunately, I'm still treated with suspicion in many places. Here, however, I finally felt welcomed. The staff provided impeccable attention, and the kitchen prepared safe, varied, and excellent dishes for me. I was truly impressed and grateful for the care I received. Highly recommended!

02/02/2026: Pay attention to your receipt! Do you really think people are that stupid?!? Small, simple, anonymous atmosphere. Friendly and fast service. Paper placemat and napkin (a whopping €2.50). Average pizza, but served on a plywood cutting board (or at least solid wood). Not many people, so you can prepare the bill at your leisure: you order two drinks, we're charged four, and the extra two are refunded after we complain. Never again.
