29/05/2025: The family-run Hotel Lory is very centrally located near the old town. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has ample parking and a large pool. The rooms are well-maintained and very clean. Breakfast is included in the price, and I definitely recommend booking dinner as well, as it's fantastic and very reasonably priced.

24/05/2025: Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at "La cucina di casa Lady Garda" and I must say that the experience was absolutely delicious. The welcoming and familiar atmosphere makes you feel at home right away, but it is the quality of the food that leaves an indelible mark. I had the opportunity to taste both the meat and fish options, and in both cases I was ecstatic. The spaghetti allo scoglio was really very good and the variety of fish inside it stands out. The cutlet was really very tender and not greasy. The service is genuine but professional and the staff is attentive to the needs of the customer. The bill is in line with the type of meals it offers. Highly recommended.

19/05/2025: Aesthetically it is not a trendy or refined restaurant but the dishes offered are very good all traditional. I love to eat the risotto alla mantovana super, however the dishes offered are many, the portions are very abundant the vegetables all prepared with care and very good. Mrs. Anna takes care of the room and the service is very nice and attentive to the requests of the customers. After the coffee she offered us arancino liqueur made by her, chocolates and sweets

01/05/2025: Garden = Home. Simple, rustic and familiar environment (max 30-35 seats). Authentic food (mainly Mantua cuisine), few dishes but really done as they should. Risotto alla pilota is the flagship dish. If you want the one with the addition of puntel (pork ribs) you should book. Don't come if you expect the classic eat & go quick service restaurant. Here you sit back and relax knowing that whatever you eat you will be satisfied. The owner dictates the times (strong character but kind manners), a bit like your mother/grandmother when you are at home. Depending on the day and the number of diners, table service can be more or less rapid but it matters little. Just like at home, if available, the Lady always offers you an encore. If you find it full, don't give up, try until you succeed, it will be worth it!

21/05/2025: We had a lovely evening here. shared a starter and desert. Menu was only in Italian but staff very helpful in explaining each option. Main meal was very tasty, best meal we had in Verona.

Family atmosphere, fantastic welcome, super good food, extremely professional owners. Pampered with attention until the end of dinner. What can I say, we can't wait to go back

05/04/2025: Unfortunately I didn't like it. Mushroom lasagnette (porcini and truffles). Leaving aside the mushrooms (coarse and tasteless pieces, ok we are out of season and they were frozen, but..but..), the pasta was overcooked and in the end I left half of it. According to the cut, we were not asked for the degree of cooking and oh well, it was still edible. The side dish of peas is good, and the dessert is decent. In the end, for the same dishes, you paid little more than dinner in a restaurant a few km further up (in the center of Giazza) where you ate 3 times better. Overall, a trattoria with a great choice of dishes but which focuses little on quality.
