Osteria Sottoriva In Verona

26/06/2026: We went here for lunch with friends, on the recommendation of a trusted friend. From the photos, it seemed like a formal restaurant, with great attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes. I must say, we found these aspects, combined with a thousand other qualities that made us adore this place. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, the service and welcome were courteous but never too cold, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We appreciated the wine selection, which was varied and thoughtful, and, last but not least, the food was truly sublime… I found nothing out of place, from appetizer to dessert, everything was perfect, including the side dishes, which were exquisite and worthy of a main course. We then chatted briefly with the owner and left feeling pleasantly full; we'll definitely be back. A place that works hard and with passion. Highly recommended!

17/05/2026: Nothing special. The tartare was good, but the seasonal risotto lacked salt. My husband asked for some parmesan to flavor it, which arrived when we were practically finished. The portions were generous, but nothing special. A bit pricey for the location and the quality of the food.
