The pizzas were overall good and quite generous with toppings, but unfortunately, in our case, the service was extremely slow and the wait was very long. All this was accompanied by prices that, in my opinion, were excessively high for everything.

07/04/2026: Good morning, I was there yesterday for lunch with four people. Two regular pizzas were good, and two gluten-free pizzas were good. However, the menu isn't very clear on whether they offer gluten-free options... In my opinion, the menu needs to be revisited. Anyway, I recommend it. Thanks

06/05/2026: A truly wonderful evening! There were eight of us at Stella d’Italia, and we felt perfectly at ease from the very first minute. The restaurant manager personally took the time to create a special menu for us – a lovely gesture that made the evening truly memorable. The pasta with anchovies was a real highlight that everyone loved. Despite the size of our group, the service was attentive at all times, and the food was consistently excellent. Highly recommended! 02/05/2026: English: We came on a recommendation. One person in our group had already been there 17 years ago. Accordingly, we had high expectations, which were largely met in terms of quality. Our group had been looking forward to it for days. However, a very negative experience was the behavior of the restaurant manager. After an initially friendly greeting, her mood suddenly changed, and we were subsequently treated very dismissively. We would like to describe the situation respectfully here, as the behavior of this individual was unacceptable to us. We had made a reservation for 10 people. The menu offered a selection from five categories (starter, appetizer, main course, snails, and dessert). The restaurant manager began taking our order. We wanted to choose a total of seven different appetizers from three categories, selected from four of these categories (starter, appetizer, main course, snails). For the second seating, we planned to order 10 dishes from two or three categories (appetizer, main course). Additionally, three guests wanted to each choose a main course for the third seating. The fact that we wanted to order different courses from various categories in varying quantities seemed to overwhelm her. She reacted with clear incomprehension of our choices. What was particularly irritating for us was that she suddenly stopped taking our order, energetically moved away from the table, angrily crumpled up the slip of paper with the items noted down so far right in front of us, and then threw it into a corner. Afterward, she left without a word. We were speechless. A short time later, she returned. I calmly explained that we had plenty of time and that it wouldn't be a problem if it took longer in the kitchen. Nevertheless, she vehemently tried to persuade us to order a single, uniform appetizer for all 10 people. We refused, as we had specifically looked forward to the variety. Visibly tense, she finally took our order again. Afterward, all the requested dishes were served very promptly. A special compliment to the kitchen, which perfectly accommodated our individual requests. The behavior of the restaurant manager, Ms. V., remains all the more incomprehensible to us. Her dismissive manner towards us was completely unnecessary and significantly dampened the mood of our group. We were very disappointed. Her tense demeanor was palpable throughout the entire evening. She completely ignored the fact that most of the meat for the main courses was left uneaten during the third round because it was very sinewy and fatty. We would have liked to order more wine, but due to the chilly atmosphere, we decided to end the evening early. The restaurant manager made it clear that we were not welcome. There wasn't even a farewell. Only the owner showed the necessary courtesy and politely escorted us to the door. Even though we were mostly very satisfied with the food, we will not be returning to this restaurant. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the kitchen staff and the owner. We recommend that Ms. V. reflect on her behavior and treat guests more professionally in the future.

01/05/2026: Very nice place, and that's where the positives end. A €32 charcuterie board was billed as enough for two, when it was barely enough for one. We had to top it off with a bruschetta, which was good but ordinary (the lady taking our orders said they were renowned for their bruschetta, which is saying something). The service was pathetic; in addition to a 30-minute wait from ordering, which was unreasonable for slicing three charcuterie items, it was embarrassing to have two waitresses bring a single dish, and they even got the wrong table (note that only three tables were occupied). Highly not recommended.

19/04/2026: Spectacular terrace overlooking the Valpolicella. A very charming and well-kept place, ideal for lunch with a panoramic view and excellent wine. Very friendly staff. We had lunch on a sunny Sunday, in the cool of the terrace, accompanied by excellent bruschetta, tartare, and a goat's cheese platter with quince and fresh pear mustard, along with a tasting of Valpolicella wines. A must-try.

01/06/2026: I come here for lunch quite often. I'm a big fan of neighborhood pizzerias, those that have remained simple and authentic (I'm not interested in gourmet pizzerias; pizza that's too messy or elaborate is no longer pizza). I always have a good time here; even when it's crowded, I don't wait too long; the staff is friendly and welcoming. Long live simple, properly made pizza!

19/05/2026: A truly large place, with a large outdoor area and several indoor dining rooms. A wide selection of dishes, including pasta dishes with a wide variety of toppings, an endless list of pizzas, and the same goes for main courses. The menu is more like a book than a menu. They do everything, but nothing is truly well-executed, which is inevitable given the sheer number of dishes on the menu. I don't recommend it; I think it's all about sauces and pre-made dishes, especially considering the speed of service.

07/05/2026: The tagliata was good, and the mixed vegetables were really plentiful. The pumpkin ravioli, however, I found a bit too sweet for my taste, so I wouldn't try them again. Overall, though, it's good, and the prices are reasonable.

02/05/2026: On a crowded day, waiting for friends, I chose this restaurant because it was the only one with tables available. Prices are average but a bit excessive for the overall quality. There's no signal (a common problem in Borghetto) or WiFi to back up (in 2026?), and we had to get up early to reconnect.
