24/08/2024: A bit of a messy place in the center. Location with tables immersed in a perfectly maintained summer garden. Expensive dishes, tiny portions, but with preparations made to perfection, perfect. €20 for the artichoke (the best Roman-style artichoke I've ever eaten!) is still €20 for an artichoke. We had to go to the show at the Arena (and the wait staff knew it) and within an hour the food still hadn't arrived, and we rushed to the Arena. The cashier stated a different (unsolicited) excuse than the waiter. All in all good but not great.

20/08/2024: Coming back to Valeggio always has something magical for me, then going to dinner at La Lepre is always a crazy experience. The food respects traditions (the tortellini are amazingly delicious as always), but also has a touch of innovation that never hurts (that pea hummus captivated my palate). The environment is characteristic of the town, a rustic but classy environment. The staff is professional but also approachable, 10 and praise, but I don't argue since I love them dearly. I really recommend it to everyone, if you pass by Valeggio don't hesitate to stop by.

16/08/2024: The vegan tortellini are sensational. The service is friendly and the waiters I saw tonight were all friendly. At the entrance it is not visible, but they have a nice courtyard. Instantly saved among your favorite places on maps!

22/08/2024: IT'S CLOSED!!! For all tourists who want to eat there - it's closed. We were there at different times and days and it always says that it is closed for the "holidays".

21/08/2024: A place to eat excellent bigoli, I think with a hundred different condiments, in a small, rustic environment and in contact with other people, but absolutely worth trying. Very friendly staff even though it is always full of people. I really liked the "old trattoria" way.

03/08/2024: The best quality-price ratio in Verona, the food was delicious, it was brought quickly and the treatment from the couple of owners was endearing, they were charming and recommended a wine to each of our tastes. Without a doubt, much more recommended than any other. Variety, homemade food and pleasant conversation with the owner, in Italian and Spanish, because we were eating almost alone. It is inexplicable that it is not full of people.

06/08/2024: Unique and unrepeatable experience. Special and welcoming inn where the genuine dishes, prepared with the great experience of the chef Stefano, leave you amazed. Unique dishes prepared in an artisanal way. I can't list the delicacies enjoyed because the menu is large and varied. I'm just saying go there because here you will find specialties that I have never tasted anywhere else. Super super recommended. Wonderful

04/08/2024: Excellent quality of all dishes and at the right price. Nice location and very friendly staff. Very tender gnocchi that are difficult to find like this in other places. All dishes are prepared entirely by the restaurant: fresh pasta, condiments and even the lake fish marinade done on site. They have a barbecue and fireplace where they cook many dishes and not just meat.

27/07/2024: Well what can I say.... Saturday evening, I book, they accept the reservation, they don't ask for a name, they don't communicate the time. I make sure to say my name. We show up at 9.45pm (about 30 minutes after booking) and they tell us that the kitchen is closed.

23/07/2024: It was no problem to order dinner to go. We didn't wait long for the food, about 15 minutes. The staff had no problem communicating in English. The food was fantastic, I can't fault it. If I were to return to Verona, I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

19/08/2024: Locale elegante e curato , cibo buono, ma non sono d’accordo nell’imporre ai clienti cosa e come ordinare: minimo 2 piatti salati a testa esclusi i contorni o , altrimenti menu’ proposto dalla casa , ma solo se viene ordinato da tutti nella tavola. Alla mia obiezione , mi é stato detto che era un consiglio e che sulla porta d’entrata era scritto. Per noi non era un consiglio, ma un obbligo, a quel punto ci saremmo alzati per andare via, ma avendo già consumato le bevande abbiamo deciso di restare, sbagliando. Quando siamo usciti non abbiamo visto alcun cartello sulla porta, ma su un tavolino alla sinistra c’era il cartello girato al contrario . Non voglio polemizzare, ma trattare i clienti in questo modo non porta da nessuna parte.

18/08/2024: Dopo aver avuto esperienze positive di questa trattoria ci siamo ritornati il giorno di Ferragosto .. e sarà veramente l’ultima volta .. La titolare - dopo averci mostrato il menu - al momento di prendere le ordinazioni ci fa presente in modo categorico e brusco che non si potevano ordinare meno di due piatti salati a persona …! Non ci era mai capitato ! Perché non potevamo prendere un primo o un secondo e il dolce ?? In più la presentazione di alcuni piatti scelti - in rapporto alla pretesa del ristorante « stellato »- non era assolutamente all’altezza …Attese prolungate e immotivate non hanno fatto che confermare il nostro disappunto .

20/08/2024: After a two-hour hike we really appreciated both the dishes and the kindness of the staff. Beautiful view of both Monte Baldo and Garda. It is possible to taste mountain products including some cheeses and yogurt: highly recommended!!!
