08/03/2026: Great restaurant! We ate well, received a warm welcome, the pizzas were excellent, and the tiramisu was incredible!! The prices are very reasonable, which is quite rare these days, so it's worth mentioning. Thank you! 🤩
⚠️ Reservations are highly recommended: there were two of us without a reservation at 12:30 pm, and we got a table inside, but almost all the tables, both inside and outside, were reserved.
04/03/2026: Remember to book ahead, the restaurant is often full. Communicating in French on the phone is no problem.

10/03/2026: The pizza was great. All other dishes were not that good (salmon over cooked, as was the red tuna).
05/03/2026: The pizza and wine are very good, so I recommend ordering pizza.
However, the seafood is very poor quality.
We ordered the hot tuna and it was terrible.
We also had the salmon and the seafood spaghetti, and both were very poor.
We told the waitress about it, but there was no relevant response.
I do not recommend ordering any seafood dishes.

here every table becomes a little chimera.
Friendliness welcomes and puts you in a good mood,
and cuisine that captivates you at first taste.
The Valpellinentze soup truly warms the heart, while the polenta is a genuine pleasure.
Beautiful and carefully prepared platters whet your appetite,
and the rösti is elegant and beautifully served.
Delicious burgers, made with great care,
and the gnocchi with Bleu d'Aoste... perhaps the best in the region!
And then the wine cellar: incredible, a true temptation,
a little paradise for every tasting.
Extremely kind staff, smiles at every moment,
a heartfelt thank you to everyone!

08/03/2026: We've been to this refuge three times and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food, the service, and the courtesy of the staff, despite the fact that it's always crowded. Compliments to all the staff.

11/01/2026: Very cozy place. I had the sirloin steak and the beef fillet which were good. However, it lacked sauce which in my opinion should be included.

In front, there's a large lawn where you can lounge and relax.
The restaurant staff is helpful and friendly.
06/09/2025: A stunning refuge with excellent food, both quality and price. I recommend booking. To get there, there's a steep and fairly challenging trail that takes at least an hour, but it offers breathtaking views of the lake. I recommend booking as there aren't many places.

20/03/2026: Absolutely appalling behaviour. We made a reservation for 21.00. When we came at the agreed time they decided to prioritize a group that just arrived cause they were just one person more. The waitress was really rude and unappologetic of what she just did. Horrible behaviour.
20/03/2026: The place look good, as well as the food. But I got a bad experience with the reservation an table management, we went at 8 to book a table, that they book for us at 9, when we arrive they said that the customers of the table were about to finish so we wait 5 min outside, and in this 5 minutes they gave the table to another group and told us that we would need to wait to another table to get free. The basically did not care about our reservation, priority and time. What it is unfortunate because we really wanted to try their food, but we where not going to wait undefinit time because they jump/push out reservation.

28/02/2026: This place has very odd pizzas - super thin, which seems nice at the beginning but not after it cools down even slightly.
However, the biggest downside was the literal total lack of toilet paper in the toilet. Yes, really.
26/02/2026: Everything was perfect, the place was great, I highly recommend it, the prices were right for Courmayeur, I would gladly go back.

09/01/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times in the past and have always appreciated the quality of the food and the service. Unfortunately, today it has become a real tourist trap: mediocre wines at exorbitant prices, an insistence on offering the most expensive options, and double-shift management that creates a rush and anxiety, making it impossible to enjoy your dinner. A real shame.

09/03/2026: A superb family-run hotel with friendly and professional staff, excellent and very accommodating managers, a very generous breakfast featuring local products, and a restaurant with delicious cuisine. Everything was perfect: the chef was top-notch, the waitresses were smiling and spoke fluent French, the housekeeping staff were meticulous in cleaning the rooms, and the reception staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I had a wonderful week at this hotel.
02/03/2026: Large and spotlessly clean rooms, fabulous mattress and pillows, as can be said of the bathroom. Excellent breakfast, both sweet and savory. Excellent option for staying overnight and then hitting the slopes.

28/02/2026: You can have lunch at any time... non-stop. I recommend the tasting menu, the cured meats, the chestnut soup, the polenta concia are excellent.
26/02/2026: A new experience at this rustic mountain osteria after a few years away. Nothing has changed. Authentic food, friendly service, fair prices. As before, I chose the tasting menu complete with Aosta Valley appetizers and two soups (barley and chestnuts). The cured meats come from Casa Bertolin, a local deli (Casa Bertolin is nearby and worth a visit for its selection of quality local products). The osteria is also convenient for hikers, open continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. It deserves more visits.
