04/02/2026: Simply excellent, small restaurant. The owners are incredibly kind, going above and beyond, and the dishes are a few, using quality ingredients and excellently cooked, at a more than fair price. I dined here three nights out of three, and I regret not staying longer to try EVERY dish on the menu. I had Savoy cabbage in bagna cauda, ​​Valdostan fondue, Piedmontese Fassona beef tartare, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, salad, Valpellinense soup, Valdostan escalope, and hazelnut cake, all accompanied by a glass of Petit Rouge.

28/06/2025: Really nice place especially the dehors and quiet atmosphere. Very kind and helpful staff and food we tried the hamburgers and they are really excellent with the really magnificent fries. I recommend it especially in the evening because it is very cool and with a really beautiful soft light. I highly recommend it.

27/06/2025: Very welcoming place with a spacious and suggestive outdoor terrace. The staff is kind, professional and attentive to the needs of the customer. Chef Leo puts his heart into every dish he creates. Even the Hamburgers with 0 km ingredients are special! The owner is very affable and kind. Highly recommended!!!

13/03/2026: I visited Boccio in Aosta, a place with an interesting history. The Sant'Orso bowling club used to be located here, and this space was the adjacent restaurant. Over time, it became first a bar and then a restaurant. Today, it's run by the same owners as the inn and offers highly acclaimed traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. The interiors are beautiful and beautifully renovated: pure Aosta Valley style, with lots of exposed wood that makes you feel like you're in a mountain chalet, but enriched with modern architectural elements in glass and steel that lend an elegant, contemporary touch. The effect is truly successful. One thing I was very pleased to see is the young management, made up of young people eager to get things done and bring new ideas. They're also organizing events, music, and cocktails, which bring the place to life and make it even more interesting. I also really appreciated the music during lunch: subtle yet discreet, creating a sense of atmosphere without disrupting the conversation. One feature I really liked is that the bowling alley is still accessible outside, and the restaurant also has an area with tables outside, bathed in sunshine at lunchtime. This isn't a given in Aosta, with its mountains and shadows... in fact, it's one of the few places where you can enjoy lunch in the full sun. In summer, there are even umbrellas to protect you from the heat! In short: typical Aosta Valley cuisine, a very refined atmosphere, and a vibrant, youthful vibe. The restaurant was renovated following a fire in 2018. A place definitely worth a visit. Best regards and kisses! 👋✨

13/03/2026: The place was packed in a very uncomfortable way. We were seated in a corner right next to the storage entrance and squeezed up against another table. It was so tight that we had to move every time the people next to us wanted to get in or out. It was also extremely noisy. Our waiter was lovely, but another waiter who came occasionally to clear tables kept shouting and getting visibly annoyed. That behavior completely ruined the atmosphere. It’s a shame because the food is actually good, but the overall experience was very unpleasant. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the vibe was off. The hosts really need to do a serious check on how things are managed.

28/01/2026: A nice budget hotel. The most important thing is to choose a room with a balcony because the view of the mountains is wonderful. The breakfast is more than wonderful and the dinner is very delicious. I ordered pasta with seafood ingredients and various seafood fried dishes, which may be among the finest meals.

I saw this one, which honestly didn't look very appealing from the outside... but then, when the food arrived, it literally hit me. Everything was really, really good. The cured meats and cheeses were delicious! The pasta lacked a bit of salt, but the food was fresh. Truly top-notch...

26/12/2025: Good bread considering you're in the north (sorry, but southern bakeries are the real masters). I had the Colomba last Easter and I think it was the best I've ever eaten in my entire life; it was truly spectacular. So I decided to get the panettone for Christmas with high hopes, but I must say, sadly, it's not quite there. I've had better low-cost ones from the supermarket. It was well-leavened but decidedly dry, and there weren't many candied fruit/raisins. It just lacked that classic panettone aroma that I can't even begin to explain. Truly disappointed.

10/02/2026: A very positive experience! A charming location at the foot of Verrès Castle, with a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Quality ingredients served in traditional local dishes: I appreciated the flavors and the portion sizes, which were more than adequate. The restaurant's capacity is limited, which makes for a quieter experience. Definitely recommended!

23/01/2026: I came in intending to have breakfast, but upon my arrival, no one responded to my greeting, despite repeating it twice. For this reason, I decided to just have a coffee and a juice. The review is solely for the service, which I found rude and inattentive to the customer. A shame, because a simple greeting makes all the difference.

19/01/2026: Business dinner: I chose it thanks to the The Fork app with a 20% discount, but unfortunately they didn't apply the agreed-upon discount. It's a shame because I particularly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the professional service, and the attention to detail in the dishes. The bill isn't exactly cheap: a portion of fried artichokes, a fondue, two porcini mushroom fillets, two desserts, and two glasses of wine totaled €140.

17/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times, both with family and friends, and each time has been a confirmation. The cuisine offers excellent typical Aosta Valley dishes, prepared with care and great attention to quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-run, making you feel truly at home, which is not always easy to find. The service is always friendly and genuine. This is undoubtedly a place I will return to again and again, and one I recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience.

23/02/2026: I went for lunch on February 22, 2026, with my wife and son, and we were very impressed with both the food (everything was excellent) and the location (both the ravine we visited and the snowy walk along the path below the restaurant were beautiful). The people were truly friendly. We'll definitely return if we're ever in the area again.
