29/09/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at the Valnontey restaurant in Cogne, and we can say without hesitation that it was an excellent experience. 🍽️ The menu features traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley, carefully prepared. In addition to a delicious appetizer of tomini, cured meats, and local cheeses, we sampled the creamy and enveloping fondue, the rustic and flavorful soça, and the famous Cogne crema con le tegole, a traditional dessert that ended the dinner on a perfect note. 🍷 The selection of Aosta Valley wines is extensive and well-cured. The Gamay we chose was a pleasant discovery: it paired perfectly with the dishes. 🎯 Attentive, courteous, and professional service made the experience even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. Our only small flaw: the room was a little cold.

07/09/2025: We had lunch with friends on August 30, 2025. The atmosphere is very charming and quaint. Excellent food, good and courteous service. The prices are fair. I highly recommend it.

26/08/2025: We loved it! The food, the atmosphere, and even the service. The menu and an attractive off-menu option. Excellent polenta with carbonada and a platter fit for someone who could have fed an army. Delicious bread, so much so that we took away the leftovers. Prices weren't cheap, but fairly average. Everything was really good. (Oh no, one thing we didn't like: the boss's constant complaining about someone else's work style. It might be that you're not happy with it, but you tell him that in private, not in front of everyone.)

16/08/2025: It would be a 4 star but don't put the prices of water and wine and then charge 4 euros for a liter of water and 12 euros for half a liter of the house wine. You really want to take advantage of it, to say the least. I definitely won't be back, it's a shame because the food is good.

06/10/2025: A family-run hotel, furnished in a simple yet refined, flawless style, in classic mountain style. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the wait staff is professional and friendly in equal measure. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes featuring well-defined flavors. The menu, while not extensive, is inviting. Breakfast also offered a more than adequate selection of sweet and savory options. The location is excellent, with the stunning valley at its back. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The atmosphere, with the Fénis Castle as an extraordinary backdrop, made the day perfect and evocative. The room was meticulously curated, welcoming, and ideal for such an important celebration. The staff was kind, professional, and welcoming in every detail, helping to make every guest feel at ease. An element that made the experience even more meaningful was the hotel's strong commitment to a concrete ethical project: vulnerable people work side by side with professionals, learning real skills in an authentic work environment, and actively contributing to the quality of service. It is a place where inclusion, authenticity, and hospitality blend elegantly, making every event not only beautiful but also rich in human and social value.

12/03/2025: Really nice Italian restaurant. Service is super good and they really take care of guests. A large outdoor grill is popular. The typical Italian dishes, like pasta and tiramisu, are super good. Happy to come again.

07/03/2025: We visited the Igloo Bar Restaurant Grill every day this week while skiing. Oh my god, the desserts made with so much love and passion - DELICIOUS - everything we tried. The owner and all of the staff were extremely friendly and we just felt wonderful. Grazie mille ! And besides the great deserts all the food was so good (great grill).

08/10/2025: In a simple setting, you'll find a surprisingly good and satisfying osteria with good food. Parking is available, but prices are perhaps a little high.

06/07/2025: Non ci sono abbastanza stelle da attribuire a questa Osteria, sia per l’accoglienza sia per il cibo che direi divino, siamo stati accolti in un ambiente familiare. Per capire bisogna provare.

12/10/2025: We stopped here as a couple by chance on our way home after a walk to Lake Miage. It's a beautiful place with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is excellent, delicate but tasty. For the prices, they're probably the best I've seen in the area. They're very good.

17/11/2025: I was very disappointed with my experience at Le Sapin Rouge. Coming down from Cervinia, I stopped simply to ask for a toasted sandwich, but was told they could only make me a sandwich. Shortly afterward, however, I was told they didn't even have bread. Honestly, it seemed absurd: walking into a bar and finding out they can't even make a toasted sandwich or a sandwich is a bit like stopping for a coffee and being told they don't have coffee. A truly unprofessional incident, which leaves a bad impression on a place that, being in a tourist area, should at least guarantee the availability of basic products. I can't honestly judge the kitchen service, as I didn't even receive basic service.

05/09/2025: Finally, after a few years, in memory of memorable barbecues, we returned to Tamara and Pasquale. A magnificent confirmation. The best grilled fish, meat, and vegetables in the Aosta Valley are here. All accompanied by undisputed friendliness. Well done. Keep up the good work!
