Ristorante Piemonte In Aosta

We came as a couple at the beginning of May. The service was very pleasant, and we ate on the terrace overlooking the street, which was quieter than inside. The dishes were delicious and typical of the region, with a special mention for the raspberry panna cotta.

Excellent restaurant. The polenta was wonderful, and so was the dessert. I highly recommend it.

I had the pleasure of dining at L'Osteria, and the experience was truly excellent in every way. The restaurant is located in the heart of Aosta, a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy a stroll through the city's most characteristic streets. The location is truly exquisite, with an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by beautifully arranged tables both inside and outside, overlooking a charming pedestrian street that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The service was impeccable: the waiters were extremely kind, attentive, and highly professional, helping make the lunch even more enjoyable. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: excellent, tasty, and beautifully presented dishes, with evident attention to both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. Special mention goes to the desserts, truly fantastic and meticulously crafted, a perfect conclusion to a high-end culinary experience. The price is certainly above average, but absolutely justified by the overall quality of the experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something special in the heart of Aosta.

Disappointed with my meal. The wait staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is great. The prices are very very high and the food is mediocre. The food came out really fast, which means it was already cooked before we got there and rapidly heated (or kept warm). The ratatouille was very greasy with way too much oil, about a centimeter in the bottom of the bowl. Not the worst meal I ever had, but not worth 80 euros for two meals. The glass of wine was also terrible. I think because this place is on the main tourist walk they get business without having to try. Unfortunately, we regretted eating there as I didn't finish the food, and was hungry soon after.

We went to L’Osteria Aosta for lunch during the week. We started with gratinated snails with blue cheese. The blue cheese added a very subtle flavor typical of this cheese. With the snails, we enjoyed a local sparkling wine. For the main course, I had hare with polenta. The hare was served with a light white‑wine jus, which was a delight together with the polenta. We paired it with a Barolo. The service was attentive, fast, and competent. It was a great feast! My table companion, himself a grappa aficionado, found the grappa selection a little limited, but this is a minor detail. I can definitely recommend L’Osteria Aosta.

Very good place and efficient staff, delicious food

Beautiful place, with attention to detail. Traditional menu, friendly staff, and excellent service. Good food and fair prices. I recommend it!!

A great place to spend a pleasant evening with excellent cuisine. Beautiful mountain-style decor (even though we're in the center of Aosta), traditional mountain dishes, and very friendly waiters.

Purely based on my experience, the food is good, and the quality/price ratio is excellent considering its central location. The dishes are traditional and non-traditional, and the service isn't great, but it's adequate for the clientele. A downside: if I pay €10 for a glass of wine (and I'm not arguing about the price), I expect it to be poured at my table, and not from a glass that arrives "full" from the bar. Using a Coravin at the table doesn't make me look bad at all; in fact, it's an added bonus.

If you're in Aosta, stop by. Regional food and reasonable prices. The wine by the glass is also quality.
