25/12/2025: The pizza here is AMAZING. Service is great, great music and interior. If you arrive at lunch time, you may wait for a table for quite a bit, so either book or arrive in off-peak hours.

23/12/2025: This place is some of the best food on the Cervinia side of the mountain, with really great service, atmosphere and with a very fair price. A lot of the other places either are very expensive, or the portions are small, but pousset has giant pizzas starting at 9 euros for a margarita pizza and at most like 15 euros. Also a really recommend trying their tiramisu, it was some of the best dessert I've had.

11/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati per cena , di passaggio da Aosta , che fortuna aver trovato La Bottegaccia . Abbiamo assaggiato il lardo d'Arnard con le castgne al miele ( ne abbiamo preso un vaso ! ) , la carne maussad e una fonduta valdostana . La sig.ra Danila ci ha suggerito il vino La Sabla , un abbinamento perfetto ! abbiamo degustato dei patti tipici veramente da leccarsi i baffi !!!! Se passate/andta in Val d' Aosta DOVETE fermarvi a La Bottegaccia ! Grazie a Danila da Eleonora & Bruno di Trieste !

20/06/2025: Plats valdotains de qualité avec une explication de leurs ingrédients et leurs provenances, en français et avec le sourire de la patronne. Rapport qualité prix excellent. De nombreux vins de la région sont proposés. A découvrir absolument.

02/06/2026: First of all, I'm really struggling to understand some of the reviews I've read. I think the overly negative ones should be treated as they do on Airbnb, where both the guest and the host write a review. Giving very low ratings for a mix-up is unfair, and the potential impact on a business can be severe. I'll just say that, in addition to having eaten some very good dishes, I also paid a fair price. The thing that struck me most positively is that I understand they don't take too many reservations. I mean, they had the option of eating outside, but they didn't fill up the entire restaurant. This was to ensure they could cook well. This really struck me positively. I think those who forgo a financial income to do their job well are rare. I was there to celebrate my mom's birthday, if we really want to find a fault when they brought the cake with the candle for my mom the numbers were backwards i.e. 49 instead of 94 but it didn't take long to fix the problem and it was the starting point for a laugh. 😄

16/05/2026: Really small dishes, polenta was terrible, we come back from 1 day of walking in the mountain and could not finish it, imagine... When the waiter asks for dessert I said « yes but for a pizza on another restaurant ».

03/04/2026: Nice organic pizza concept but food was bland, waiters were rude. Better pizza and hospitality (even when busy) in the family run Italian up the road.

05/05/2026: We came as a couple at the beginning of May. The service was very pleasant, and we ate on the terrace overlooking the street, which was quieter than inside. The dishes were delicious and typical of the region, with a special mention for the raspberry panna cotta.

12/04/2026: A perfect stop just outside the Aosta Valley, in Pont-Saint-Martin. We had piadina and pinsa with traditional ingredients: delicious and generous portions. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is simple and quiet, made pleasant by the sound of the Lys River. It's also interesting that the area was featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Recommended for a quick stop during your trip 👍

12/04/2026: A welcoming, well-kept restaurant with tables close together. Friendly and attentive service. Superlative food, high-quality vitello tonnato, excellent flavor, and a fresh presentation! The fresh pasta first course was excellent.

14/03/2026: After a long day of skiing, we spotted this cute place for a snack. The bar was actually very nice, but the staff was extremely rude: we waited 10 minutes just to ask if we could sit down. We weren't told there would be no table service. After another 10 minutes, we asked to order at the counter, and when we asked if we should clear the table, we were told yes. I don't think we'll be back.

05/03/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm celiac and found the staff knowledgeable and attentive. There's a wide selection of excellent-quality, gluten-free local products. The place is very nice and strategically located, close to the ski slopes. I recommend the mixed platter of local products, which is truly excellent (very generous). The prices are fair, considering the quality and location.

26/01/2026: We were extremely disappointed with the food at this restaurant. I ordered polenta concia, which initially turned out to be extremely bitter. Then, towards the end, I noticed that there were numerous melted cheese rinds inside (probably uncleaned rinds), making the dish so bitter that it was indigestible and even causing severe nausea. Serving the scraps as the main ingredient completely ruins the flavor and quality of the food. The other dish I ordered, a cotoletta alla valdostana, was, if anything, even more absurd: the breading consisted exclusively of ham and cheese, with no trace of meat whatsoever. Essentially, the cotoletta was missing the key ingredient. Finding scraps of cheese on one side and a complete absence of meat on the other is unacceptable. We won't be returning and we strongly advise against it for anyone looking for carefully prepared cuisine. It's a shame, because the staff and the restaurant are welcoming.
