22/10/2025: Disappointing experience at Pozzo Romano
We visited Pozzo Romano restaurant with a group of 15 colleagues, but unfortunately, the experience was very negative. The staff was unwelcoming and rushed, with no attention to the customer. The meal was of poor quality, with poorly prepared and flavorless dishes. In a city as renowned for its hospitality and good cuisine as Assisi, we expected much better. We do not recommend this restaurant.

29/03/2026: We were there today for an aperitif and had the tagliere and two drinks 🍷 The tagliere (mixed sausage and cheese selection) was amazing 🤩🤩 We'll definitely be back!
15/03/2026: Extremely expensive for very little! The price-performance ratio is completely off. We paid €32 for four Aperol Spritzes and €7 for a 0.3-liter bottle of beer! Even the cheese and ham platter was barely worth €29… Prices higher than in Rome or New York! A real tourist trap; if we had known, we would have moved on immediately.

22/05/2026: This restaurant is located near Santa Maria degli Angeli in Assisi and is clean and modern; the food is truly delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive to customer requests. A wonderful discovery! We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

11/05/2026: I'm sorry to have to give such a low rating, but I wanted to be good.
Rustic but poorly maintained place. No menu with prices.
If the idea is that of a typical trattoria, the portions are small (the pasta must have been 60g, and the salad was also skimpy).
The quality wasn't exceptional (I know where they get the meat, but the pork steak didn't smell good), the pie wasn't cooked, and the price, well...

17/05/2026: My husband and I had dinner at Osteria dei Priori in Assisi to celebrate my birthday, and we had a truly wonderful time.
The place is beautiful and welcoming, with a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The staff welcomed us with such kindness and courtesy, making us feel immediately at ease. They were also very kind in explaining the dishes and offering suggestions throughout the dinner.
The food was truly exquisite; you could taste the quality of the ingredients, and each dish was carefully crafted and full of flavor. It was a special evening that I will fondly remember.
If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel welcomed with a smile, I absolutely recommend it!

07/03/2026: We booked well in advance; we were told there would be music and that the menu was à la carte. Instead, there was no music and only pizza to eat. And the pizza was on a moldy cutting board. We were fooled.
07/03/2026: We called 10 days in advance and made a reservation for Saturday night. They assured us they'd have an a la carte menu and music. We arrived, but there was no a la carte menu or DJ. We were forced to order a meter-long pizza because they didn't do plated pizzas. The pizza arrived, and the cutting board was covered in mold and flaking. We reported the inconvenience they'd caused us; the owner was practically standing behind us and didn't even dare apologize! Terrible experience, definitely not recommended.

27/05/2026: We stopped here for some wine and munchies. The wine selection was great, and the service was really professional and attentive.
24/04/2026: While traveling to Spoleto, my husband and I stopped at Tric Trac. The atmosphere is very quaint and the staff is friendly. The food we ordered was very good, though the price was a bit high, but we expected that. It's also located across from the beautiful Duomo and is one of the main locations for the TV series Don Matteo, which we've always followed. It's a shame that yesterday was very windy, otherwise we would have eaten outside. If we return to beautiful Spoleto, we'll definitely stop by, at least for a coffee. Thank you.

The rooms could be aesthetically improved, but they still offer all the comforts.
Kudos to the breakfast... amazing!
12/12/2025: The village where it's located is beautiful; especially during the Christmas season, it's intimate and beautifully decorated, with various events for adults and children. The only drawback is the rooms: cold, poorly maintained, and perpetually damp due to insufficient and poorly managed heating (a split unit that helps during the day is turned off from 9 pm to 10 am 😒).

15/01/2026: While visiting Foligno, this place "called" to us from afar. Looking for something light and easy, we stopped in. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, with tables outside. There's no table service; you have to order at the counter first. The piadinas were good—not overly stuffed, but with good-quality ingredients and a very flavorful taste. The draft beer was very good. The place, even inside, is very unique and homey.
13/12/2025: The perfection of simplicity, an Oscar-worthy setting! In winter, complete with a lit fireplace!

02/01/2026: Ordered 2 pizzas for home delivery. Arrived cold and practically tasted like rubber. Thrown away. Destination close and easy to find yet the guy had trouble finding us. The person who took the order over the phone misspelled the name, surname, and address. Never again.
30/12/2025: Very rude staff, sour and undercooked tomato, rubbery and leavening pizza in the stomach... AVOID!!!

25/04/2026: A restaurant just outside the historic center of Cascia, located in a beautiful hotel. Traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist, featuring locally sourced ingredients to create delicious dishes that respect tradition. The excellent wine list showcases the rich local tradition alongside top national labels. The desserts are delicious, although the portions are a bit on the small side.

We weren't told what wine it was, nor were we shown the bottle.
We weren't asked how cooked the meat was.
We were served 2 cuts of steak.
2 side dishes, "sautéed vegetables with chili pepper," were 2 plates of broccoli. No comment.
There are many other places in Cascia where the food is much better... look elsewhere.
