05/05/2025: The owners seem really nice people, but when we entered around 18.30 h., they did not seem to expect guests. We were sitting alone in a very large dining hall. Because we were suspicious about the quality of food, we only ordered antipasta (bruchetta), which was just eatable. We also ordered a draft beer (Heineken), which was so sour that it was undrinkable. (We come from beer-consuming countries, Belgium and the Netherlands, and are knowledgeable about how beer should taste.)

05/01/2025: Terrible. Despite the good breakfast and the friendliness of the young people in charge, who unfortunately have little attention/competence/availability/power/desire to make the stay more comfortable. I chose this destination trusting the experience and the location, as well as the option to cook on site, but without great services in return. A choice that I have ascertained on site have been made by other families with the same logistical inconveniences. Dishes not clean and kitchen not perfect, not even cleaning products. I am someone who adapts and knows how to do, so I also speak with knowledge of the facts but inefficiencies and incompetence, whether intended or not, on the part of the management have decreed a terrible judgment. I agree with the fact that it is, I learned by chance, the managers who have to deal with structural tasks such as a non-working boiler and lack of care in structural cleaning, but they are the ones who answer with us for our terrible stay. I believe that contributing to not creating great expectations and preparing for people who do not have great practical management skills is my duty.

04/03/2025: THE BEST IN UMBRIA My boyfriend and I were looking for a perfect place to relax and the structure and quality of services exceeded my expectations. SPA AND SPA: very nice structure, welcoming, CLEAN and VERY WELL maintained, small (but it fits). There are two thermal pools (and not three, from what I understand, given that the third 'tub' is connected to the outdoor pool and therefore has normal, freezing water as it is winter). The thermal water was lukewarm, one slightly hotter than the other, but we would have preferred them slightly hotter (both us and the other guests, hearing what they said). More or less useful information: In the changing room there is no toilet that you find in the spa, but a shower equipped with soap (excellent) and lockers with keys. Excellent quality-price here too. ADVICE for the structure: fire or change whoever creates the site. In addition to not doing you justice, it lacks a lot of useful information: for example your SERVICES (unclear and thrown away), THE spa TREATMENTS (named with "treatments", but you don't know what they are, especially if you expect someone to book them for you before arriving at the facility), THE PRICES (you can't even see a shadow of them), as well as good storytelling. Furthermore, when I called and asked about spa treatments I was told that THEY DIDN'T EXIST, and the prices I was told were different. I was sorry there was this communication/information error, but we still had a wonderful and RELAXING day. Very professional, helpful and patient staff. I will definitely come back and ask to speak directly with the spa center so I can book your massages☺️

02/02/2025: Friendly staff despite the terrible outcome given the inappropriate, uncomfortable arrangement without even having the foresight to make me eat with the tablecloth because I was arranged "as best I could". It would have been more professional to say "we are fully booked". The cold cuts were good, then I had some absolutely tasteless ravioli dipped in sauce and only then literally filled with cheap chilli powder. I ate 2 just long enough to realize that they were simply inedible!!! It was rightly taken off my final bill and I appreciated it I was with 3 other people who ate without being satisfied, each for different reasons. Disappointment for the non-existent truffle (only in cream and similar) Neither I nor they will return to this Osteria again

04/01/2025: Cena a base di zuppa di ceci e porcini e zuppa rustica buonissime. La gentilezza e la cordialità completano il resto. Perfetto.

20/05/2025: Il ristorante è immerso nelle verdi colline umbre, location molto bella soprattutto se si mangia fuori. Abbiamo mangiato bene, i ravioli all’oca un po’ deludenti e il servizio un po’ lento ma nel complesso una buona esperienza, carta dei vini davvero bella

18/04/2025: Il locale si trova a circa 45 km da Assisi,anche carino all’interno,i prezzi sono un po’ esagerati nel complesso non si mangia male ma nella normalità,di sicuro non penso di tornare più.

23/04/2025: A mio avviso la migliore norcineria della zona. I salumi sono lavorati e confezionati dal proprietario nel suo laboratorio di Norcia. Si trovano prelibatezze rare: salumi di cinghiale, di maiale brado, pecorini e legumi. Il ciauscolo è impareggiabile. Ho acquistato spesso tartufi freschi (uncinato e estivo) sempre eccellenti. Mai preso panini, ma io a Spoleto ci vivo e il panino me lo faccio a casa.

26/05/2025: I never write negative reviews, never, I'd rather not go there anymore and it'll be over. But since it's a tourist place, people need to know. Exactly a tourist restaurant. Sky-high prices, way out of range, drink prices not even displayed so you'll find yourself paying €4 for a water rather than €7 for a glass of wine that they don't even tell you what you're drinking. The terrible service, with eyes rolling to the sky and superficiality. If you're lucky they'll tell you about the various off-menu items and follow you, if not, you'll only hear them at a few tables next to you. The dishes are without condiments and without too many pretensions. I tell you honestly, at those prices you'll find people who make a passion for catering and welcome you with open arms.

12/05/2025: Historic restaurant on Lake Trasimeno, now managed by his son Enrico. Excellent menu for connoisseurs and for those with patience..... special dishes with excellent representation of them. This week I had two dinners excellent and at a very honest price for the quality and imagination! Highly recommended!! and tell the owner that I will send you Stefano the ophthalmologist!

02/05/2025: La sua priorità è alla cassa ... Per ordinare si può sperare che dopo 20 minuti qualcuno si avvicini al tavolo dove ti ha invitato a sederti. Se invece decidi di non aspettare oltre e fai per andartene in silenzio, per cercare altrove almeno un poco d'acqua, il cassiere ti prende pure a maleparole. Tuttavia, fuori è un incanto estivo e riprendi quantomeno a respirare.

10/05/2025: I went to this place 2 weeks ago with some friends, unfortunately the staff made us wait a long time before taking our orders and it also took a long time to bring us the food (perhaps it was also due to the fact that there were a lot of people). My pizza overall wasn't bad but I didn't like the dough, in my opinion it should have been a little less thick and more cooked. Instead, I tasted some pieces of sliced ​​meat with rosemary and I really liked it, tender meat and perfect cooking!

19/04/2025: Unfortunately we ordered a pizza, but they served us piadinas. Do you know those large piadinas that you buy at the supermarket to fill? These were raw. Unfortunately we had to leave them. When we pointed this out the response was that this is their pizza. It may be their pizza, but they shouldn't call it pizza. Pizza, dear managers, is something else. A real shame because we didn't remember it that way.
