04/03/2026: A terrible experience. The hotel staff, late at night, even at midnight, would start yelling and playing, slamming doors in the hallway. In short, they were unprofessional and showed no respect for those trying to rest. After reporting the situation to the front desk and asking for assistance, they didn't resolve the issue; the staff were always yelling and playing. Furthermore, when you needed something, like at the bar, you never found them. I'm sorry, but this hotel is a no-go.

20/03/2026: The place has reservations available from Wednesday. I've already tried to book a table for Saturday three times, plus all my friends who try individually. They never answer and the place is always full with booked tables. I wonder how it's possible unless you have the right connections to manage it.

14/07/2025: A. Good farmhouse. I only went to eat. I didn't stay overnight. I have to say, the atmosphere is nice and friendly, full of kittens that keep us company. We ate outside. The atmosphere is nice. I think the prices are a bit high for the location. The starter was 18 euros and wasn't very rich. The menu on the blackboard was a few nice dishes to choose from, cooked quite well. I'll post some photos so you can get an idea of the dishes.

28/12/2025: A trattoria in the heart of the historic center, where you can enjoy traditional Umbrian and Tuscan dishes, revisited and beautifully presented...not to mention delicious. All in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, with a huge fireplace where meat and soups are cooked in front of you. Beautiful. Always top notch!

The dishes are undoubtedly excellent, but expensive and not particularly large. Very limited variety. The service is merely acceptable. You walk in and feel like you're being a nuisance. It is so thin that it cools down immediately and becomes a hard pizza to eat. Pizza for me is something else. I bought a Francescana, a margherita and a margherita with speck to collect my order I had to argue and take out the receipt because according to the owner it was not my order! Too bad we had already paid otherwise I would have left! I do not recommend!

I'd also like to highlight the care and attention the owners and staff showed to my partner's food intolerances. She never felt uncomfortable and was able to choose from a wide variety of foods. The room was tidy, clean, and very traditional. Would you recommend this property? ABSOLUTELY.

08/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve at this property, 7 campers, 29 people, adults and children... the property is very beautiful, but the organization is very perplexing. They pay maximum attention to the money but very little attention to the customer. The portions are small, no encores, and the DJ never showed up. We felt unwanted, as if they were doing us a favor by being open. Not recommended.

The bar is always well-stocked, with a wide variety of excellent pastries, a well-kept exterior, and a comfortable, welcoming interior. The real added value, however, is the staff: always smiling, courteous, and professional, they're excellent.

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner, four adults and one child, reservation at 8:00 PM. We arrive on time, but the reservation can't be found. They put us at a poorly set table, and for four people (they don't bring the missing place setting, we just take an extra chair), we order almost immediately. Three first courses (asking if the child's penne al pomodoro could arrive first), a sliced ​​steak, a fried dish, and two side dishes. The first dishes to arrive were the sliced ​​steak and a side dish, almost immediately. After more than an hour, the first courses (including the child's penne) haven't even arrived. Despite the waiters' reminders and sometimes rude responses, the first courses and the second side dishes arrive after 1:20 AM. Meanwhile, the other tables who arrived after us eat and leave. At 10:30 PM, we cancel the fried dish order, but ask for two sorbets, for which no orders are even taken. At 11:00 PM, we go home. We explained the mix-up to the cashier, and they irritably explained that the menu is extensive so everyone can eat whatever they want. Of course, it's a shame the food doesn't arrive at the tables. Total: €96 and two free Valentine's Day cookies.

07/12/2025: Excellent location, above the Saba parking lot in Piazza San Giovanni, near the Basilica of San Francesco. Breakfast was also good. The room, however, was so-so. Despite being on the third floor, it had two windows overlooking the wall, so it was dark and cold. There was also no wifi or cell phone reception.

05/12/2025: I want to express my gratitude for a very delicious lunch. Walking around the city, we found a restaurant at the hotel. We ordered pasta, beef in sweet and sour sauce, local red wine and creme brulee for dessert. All the dishes were a great pleasure. I highly recommend the creme brulee for dessert. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality. Cozy, tasty, fast.

06/09/2025: We arrived without a reservation, and they gave us a choice of two tables, despite being booked on most of the others. Menu choice was small but varied to accommodate different tastes. All authentic to the region and locally produced. The food was exceptional. No other words for it. The taste exquisite, presentation superb and sizing just right (not too small to leave you hungry, not to large to feel uncomfortable stuffed). I wish I'd taken photos, but I tucked in and couldn't stop till we'd finished. I had sliced steak with salad, my husband had a wild boar pasta dish and lamb chops. Delicious 😋

09/08/2025: I'm not judging the food since we weren't even served it. We booked on July 18th for August 2nd. We arrived and were met by a rather grumpy waitress who asked us if we wanted to eat inside or outside. Shortly afterward, she came out again to ask when we'd called to reserve the table. Finally, the owner came back to us, handing us his phone and saying he'd had plumbing problems that day. It was a shame there were other cars outside... We were so disappointed that we were forced to get a takeout pizza.

27/12/2025: Surrounded by nature, located quite high up, just a short walk from Gubbio, it's the perfect place to stay and explore! The castle is easy to reach, truly large and well-maintained! The rooms are large and spacious! You can book a kitchen if you want to be independent! The breakfast was rich and tasty, with every choice from sweet to savory, even for those with food intolerances! The only downsides were the practically non-existent hot water in the bathroom; there was no pressure, so it came out in a trickle. Showering was almost impossible. Furthermore, there was a large door inside the room in addition to the main entrance, which was impossible to lock from the inside without a padlock. At least, I couldn't lock it at all. Finally, I recommend (and I give this advice everywhere you go, even if you rent a kitchen) checking the pans before using them, as those who stay overnight first either rinse them without soap or aren't experienced enough to clean them, which can be quite a hassle! Everything else was great! I'll be back in the summer to relax in the cool air!

16/09/2025: I like the place because there's a lot of outdoor space, and even though it's surrounded by roads, there's little traffic and it's not noisy. The service is slow and indifferent, but that's almost a constant now. I had the gelato, which was very good. My friends' appetizers and snacks weren't anything special.

28/08/2025: Average food, below-average service. Location on the street, and music too loud on live music days. Won't go back.
