My husband and I had dinner at Osteria dei Priori in Assisi to celebrate my birthday, and we had a truly wonderful time. The place is beautiful and welcoming, with a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The staff welcomed us with such kindness and courtesy, making us feel immediately at ease. They were also very kind in explaining the dishes and offering suggestions throughout the dinner. The food was truly exquisite; you could taste the quality of the ingredients, and each dish was carefully crafted and full of flavor. It was a special evening that I will fondly remember. If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel welcomed with a smile, I absolutely recommend it!

I stumbled upon this place by chance for dinner, and it was a truly pleasant discovery. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, and the menu draws on Umbrian tradition with a modern twist. The first courses are top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it. This time I came alone, but I'll definitely be back with friends.

We had dinner yesterday at this little restaurant, discovered by chance while strolling through Assisi. It's centrally located, yet not far from the Basilica of Saint Francis. The place is very elegant and welcoming. The food is truly authentic and high-quality; you can taste it's handmade. We ordered local cured meats and cheeses, tagliatelle with fresh truffles, a delicious tulip-shaped lasagna, and pork tenderloin and porchetta rabbit. To finish, we had homemade desserts: tiramisu, chocolate cake, and apple and cinnamon cake. Everything was delicious. A wonderful discovery, we'll definitely be back! Very kind and welcoming staff.

I was there for Easter lunch by myself. The venue is quite small. Even though at first it felt like getting packed with other people, it felt very homely and cozy after a bit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and delicious.

About a hundred meters from Minerva Square, the center of the medieval village. Regional cuisine, not a very large selection, but everything was delicious. Very fast and friendly service.

Descending to the left of Assisi's Piazza del Comune, with the fountain behind you, into a nearby alleyway—Via Giotto, to be precise—you enter a delightful, timeless restaurant. Stepping through the single pointed-arch entrance door transports you back to the Middle Ages. It's no coincidence that the restaurant is called Osteria dei Priori. The place is welcoming and warm, beautifully furnished, with carefully measured red walls alternating with stone. We dined in an alcove, protected by soft lighting. We couldn't be happier to have dined here; we ate wonderfully. Roberta, I think that was the name of the young woman who welcomed us so kindly, even spent a pleasant time with us, as there were no other tables to attend to at the time. The appetizers were out of this world for both of us... a seasoned and marinated Fassona beef tartare and a thinly sliced ​​veal with tuna sauce, both delicious. We then chose a first course to share between two: tagliatelle with mushrooms and saffron, guinea fowl with truffles, and a side of grilled vegetables. Everything was truly excellent. I don't remember the wine we chose, but in this area, you can never go wrong. Probably a Montefalco red, although I'm not sure. Go and you won't be disappointed. Good prices.

A restaurant nestled in the historic center of Assisi, this elegant venue boasts very friendly staff and excellent traditional Umbrian cuisine. Great prices. Highly recommended.
