There are places you go to eat... and then you find yourself experiencing something more. Trattoria degli Angeli, in Santa Maria degli Angeli, is one of those places for me. As soon as you walk in, you immediately feel that family atmosphere, simple yet authentic, that isn't created on paper: it comes from the people. The staff is welcoming, present without being intrusive, and makes you feel almost like a regular, even if it's your first time. The cuisine is sincere. Traditional dishes, well-made, without being forced. Flavors that don't try to impress with special effects, but rather win you over with their authenticity. You can sense the quality of the ingredients and, above all, the respect for what's brought to the table. I really appreciated this: no excess, just balance and flavor. The restaurant is well-kept, warm, with an atmosphere that invites you to linger, to take your time. It's one of those places where you're not in a hurry to leave the table, where dinner also becomes a moment to think, talk, and enjoy. If I had to find a word to describe it, I'd say "authentic." And today, finding authenticity isn't so easy.

Excellent dishes: first courses, second courses, and side dishes...all delicious. Desserts: various flavored sorbets, variously flavored panna cotta. I highly recommend the dark chocolate cake!
