03/01/2025: Excellent location, close to the car park and above all very close to the Basilica of San Francesco. Very kind staff, excellent breakfast and the rooms were clean like the whole hotel. We will definitely be back.

02/01/2025: What a lovely place! The staff was always helpful. The rooms were just what we needed. Comfortable, clean and we had a beautiful view. The breakfast was included, and was ample and delicious. This hotel was close to St Francis Basilica, which was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel

01/04/2025: A restaurant that is increasingly a point of reference for the city of Perugia. A place to spend a Sunday with your family feeling at home. This is despite the fact that it is also the restaurant of a hotel that is always very busy. You are immersed in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, the result of classic but not heavy furnishings. The dishes offered are however a dive into Umbrian culture. But not only that, because the new proposals on the menu are based on the gastronomic culture of central Italy, with a personal touch that doesn't hurt. Today I really appreciated the oxtail and the Roman artichokes, the bresaola was very original. Rich wine list with excellent labels offered at very honest prices. A little disappointed by the desserts, the semifreddo was not well defrosted and was hard. The service was good, the staff were helpful and discreet, even if this time the waiting time for the first course was a little too long. It's the first time it's happened to me. I think it was an internal problem. Account in line with the quality of the product

12/01/2025: Non conoscevo questo ristorante nel centro storico di Passignano. Mai scelta più azzeccata, personale molto gentile e che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Ottima la selezione di pesce di lago, che mi ha fatto venire voglia di tornare per provare qualche piatto. Ho preferito le proposte del menù di terra e antipasto buono, super il filetto di maiale con cipolle caramellate in crosta di parmigiano con purè.

15/02/2025: Conoscevo il ristorante, ma erano anni che non andavo e credo ne ripasseranno altri prima che ritorni. Oltre 1 ora di attesa, assurdo. Disorganizzazione del servizio perché altrimenti non è possibile. Eppure il locale è piccolo e dovrebbero saper gestire meglio gli ordini a mio avviso.

25/01/2025: Abbiamo prenotato per le 20.30. Appena arrivati ci sono voluti più di 5 minuti per farci sedere. Una volta seduti, non ci hanno nè portato il menù, nè chiesto se volessimo qualcosa da bere. Dopo 15 minuti, arrivano finalmente i menù. Dopo mezz’ora, nessuno è arrivato per le ordinazioni. Chiamiamo la signora (credo la proprietaria), chiedendo se potessimo ordinare e ci risponde di aspettare. Passa altro tempo. Chiamiamo il cameriere (l’unico a gestire una sala stracolma di persone), ci risponde tutto scocciato: “un attimo”. Richiamiamo la signora facendo presente che dopo mezz’ora, nemmeno dell’acqua avevamo al tavolo. Di tutta risposta, infastidita, ci dice: “quando è pieno, ci sta da aspettare. Se vi sta bene, bene. Sennó amici come prima”. Ovviamente ci siamo alzati e ce ne siamo andati! Maleducati, cafoni e senza rispetto verso chi vi fa guadagnare il pane. Se non sapete gestire una sala piena di sabato sera, fareste meglio a chiudere. Ah, vi svelo un segreto: le prenotazioni servono anche a capire quanti coperti si possono gestire e non ad ammassare gente giusto per guadagnare qualche soldo in più. Lo sconsiglio a tutti e non ci tornerò mai più! Vergognatevi!

14/01/2025: Delightful structure and very private. Living it in spring/summer must be even more relaxing with the presence of the swimming pool.

29/09/2024: We stayed at Borgo della Marmotta for 5 nights and loved our time there. The property is stunning and the perfect blend of rustic, cozy, and thoughtful. PROS: beautiful setting, great pool area, clean/simple/cozy rooms (we stayed in a superior), warm/helpful staff (thank you Luca for making our stay so special!), and nice breakfast spread (meats/cheeses, fruit, baked goods, coffee). CONS: our mattress was very firm and not the most comfortable (this is a personal preference), persistent issues with A/C in the room (however, the staff was very responsive and worked to help fix the problem which was so appreciated), and dinner food was just ok (we had better meals outside of the hotel). For us the pros significantly outweighed the few cons. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Umbria!

22/03/2025: We arrived there by chance and it was a fantastic discovery! Very good piadina, top quality ingredients and the fried ciaccine a very pleasant experience, super good! All nicely accompanied by the kindness, professionalism and friendliness of the managers. We will definitely be back.

06/02/2025: Locale molto bello nel bosco, pietra travi in legno e camino. Cucina ottima e carta dei vini ampia e ben curata con ottime etichette umbre ma anche nazionali. Tutti i piatti assaggiati (patata ripiena di uovo e tartufo, strangozzi al tartufo, cervo con polenta) curati e con personalità. Personale affabile e competente. Staconsigliato! Prezzi non bassi ma a mio avviso in linea con la qualità e con l'ambiente nel suo complesso.

23/12/2024: Siamo arrivati in questo bosco incantato , all ingresso il personale cortese ed attento ci ha fatto accomodare al nostro tavolo . Siamo partiti con un midollo di manzo con la sua tartare, abbiamo scelto poi dei chitarrini al tartufo bianco (slurp), sublimi. Fegatelli di maiale , costine di cervo con frutti rossi e raponzoli in accompagnamento. Il tutto,per nostra scelta, abbinato a calici di vino di alto livello. Un plauso alla direzione.

18/12/2024: Per lavoro sono almeno 2/3 volte alla settimana a Preci e con il tempo ho imparato a conoscere Gianni e Marina, i titolari nonché anima e cuore di questo posticino davvero intrigante. Nella bella stagione il giardino è un posto fantastico, si cena in un prato curatissimo. Le proposte, non tante ma una meglio delle altre, sono a dir poco eccellenti, le carni alla brace indimenticabili ma i piatti tutti sono da ricordare e per ritornarci. Menzione particolare alla stracciata con il tartufo, alle carni (le ho provate TUTTE) alla brace cotte con maestria da Gianni, alle crostate di Marina. Sono stato più volte a pranzo e a cena. Da provare assolutamente.
