In the cool of the splendid Castel Rigone in the pine forest there is our friend Hermann. Unique character who knows how to welcome you into his home with sincere friendship and sympathy. The key word is simplicity... don't go looking for complicated things. Excellent food like the classic torte al testo with always top fillings and seasonal ingredients but the typical dishes are also good.

The place is very beautiful and fortunately cool as it is a pine forest. Ventilated. I took a testo cake with raw rocket and stracchino, really excellent! Natural excuse... €10... Quite high in cost. Right portion but the bill a little salty. I recommend adapting the prices to the structure... Furthermore, the menu is a must, both to consult the dishes, the prices and any allergens. And there isn't... It has to be there. However I recommend it.

THE LOCATION IS LOCATED IN THE RIGONELLA PARK IN CASTEL RIGONE IN THE FULL FOREST. UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL PLACE. THE OWNER IS KIND AND HELPFUL, ALL THE DISHES ARE FABULOUS BUT THE STRONG PIECE IS THE PASTA WITH PORCINI MUSHROOMS. THE FIVE STARS ALL DESERVED.

Very special place, with an unusual decoration but still welcoming at the same time. The owner is even more particular than the decoration of the restaurant, but friendly and nice if you understand his way of being. I don't know if there is a menu, because he told us what he was bringing us (we only had an aperitif, but there were also first and second courses). We thought it was excellent, but don't expect the usual restaurant because it isn't!!
