23/11/2024: I recently had the fortune of stopping to eat at the osteria il Gallo nel pozzo, in the central square of the small and characteristic village of Panicale. I never expected to eat so well: welcomed with a tasting of heavenly local new extra virgin olive oil with a selection of homemade breads and other excellent appetizers, followed by fusilloni made with fresh pasta of the day with extraordinary Cinta Senese ragù . My mistake, I only drank water and coffee in the end without taking the wine, who knows what other delight I missed. Also the impeccable service, with all courses served on refined and elegant majolica and the owner discreet but always present when needed. My most sincere compliments, I hope to be able to return soon even if unfortunately I live very far away

05/03/2025: I start from the food because when you go to a place you go there to eat, the pizza is the true expression of Naples with its unmistakable dough, the ingredients are very fresh and a peculiarity that I have not found in any other pizzeria is the stracciatella or buffalo mozzarella or normal mozzarella chosen by the diner and it is truly excellent. Service: what can I say, you order, you go out to smoke a cigarette thinking about waiting and you don't even finish the cigarette before they put the pizza on the table with a splendid smile. Atmosphere: jovial smiling staff who welcome you as if you were part of the family (a characteristic of Naples) unfortunately the place is not very large and I really hope that they can expand outside because there is space but as they haven't been open for long they still don't have coverage outside. Already ready with the planks for this summer. If you pass there stop and try. From what I could see, it would be better to book both for the inside seat and for the take-away pizza. However, it is highly recommended, a stone's throw from the basilica of Assisi. I will happily return 🙏👍

30/03/2025: On March 20, 2025 I had dinner with 5 other colleagues at this place. Myself and another colleague ordered a starter of razor clams: apart from the fact that they were still with sand, but we immediately noticed that they had a strange smell. We ate some that had an unpleasant taste and we left the table still full of razor clams, pointing out to the waiter that they were not edible. At the time of the bill, we once again pointed out that the plate of razor clams was inedible but we didn't get any discount (it's true that we didn't ask for the discount but it would have been a courtesy to give it to us!) and we paid the 22.00 euros per plate of razor clams. After a day both my colleague and I felt ill with a fever of 39, vomiting and dysentery... pure coincidence? I do not believe!

24/01/2025: A distanza di anni che non avevo il piacere di cenare qui; confermo ancora una volta quanto si stia bene! Locale davvero molto piacevole e accogliente dove puoi goderti tranquillamente la tua serata. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti tra cui la tartare, il tortino di carciofi, puré di fave,passatelli in brodo e dolci.... Tutto MERAVIGLIOSO! COMPLIMENTI Francesca! Personale molto gentile. 03/01/2025: Pranzo tra amici fantastico, abbiamo mangiato benissimo dagli antipasti ai primi secondi e dolci favolosi. Il personale è super gentile, Leonardo molto professionale e ci ha anche spiegato la città. Si sta super comodi, anche con i bambini, sono stati accolti benissimo e fatti mangiare prima di noi adulti, inoltre hanno avuto modo di muoversi, poiché i tavoli sono distribuiti molto bene all interno della sala. Lo consigliamo e se torniamo a Gubbio sicuramente mangeremo di nuovo li.

24/12/2024: Siamo capitati per caso ma amiamo questo posto. Dalla qualità super dei piatti alla gentilezza e cordialità della padrona di casa. Siamo stati accolti subito come se fossimo di famiglia. Il prezzo è onesto considerando che siamo molto vicini ad Assisi e rispecchia in pieno la quantità e la qualità del cibo. Torneremo sicuramente da queste parti :)

26/10/2024: Anna's pizzeria has been our favorite place for a long time. The food is excellent, both the pizza and other dishes we tasted. The service is perfect for everyone's welcome and friendliness. In summer you can eat in the garden with plenty of space, where very often you can also enjoy live music. Absolutely recommended.
