I did a wine tasting of local wines here, and I recommend it. They served a platter of cheeses and meats that was delicious and paired well with the wine. I participated in a local wine tasting here and I recommend it. They served a truly exquisite cheese and cured meat platter, which paired perfectly with the wine.

I stopped by after work for lunch. At first, having never tried it, I was skeptical about the paccheri with oxtail sauce, but I changed my mind! The dish was extremely tasty, delicious, and well-portioned. The wine selection was excellent. I'd go again!

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired: extremely long waits for a cold appetizer and porchetta that simply needed reheating. The appetizer, however, was good. There were many mistakes during service, and the girl at the cash register couldn't get us change and didn't even apologize. Everyone makes mistakes, but a smile and an apology are all it takes, and unfortunately none came.

Review @ La Barbatelle Our experience @ Le Barbatelle was amongst the greatest one we had in our stay throughout this incredible region of Umbria. Besides the delicious food, wine and warm atmosphere, the best part of the experience was the kindness and hospitality given to us by Filippo and Vittoria, waiter and waitress, as well as Jennifer, the owner. Le Barbatelle is a MUST for anyone visiting this incredible town of Bevagna.

Extraordinary location Wonderful food, excellent quality and well-served. Very kind and competent service. The location is completely pet-friendly; they let us in without a reservation with two Australian shepherds. I'd say absolutely top-notch. Word from the Executive Chef 😉🐾

Wonderful evening! We arrived early and, alone, started with an excellent bottle of wine. Then came the cold cuts, fried rabbit, eggs, and truffles. Everything was truly top-notch, congratulations! Reasonably priced.

23/07/2026: A truly special and distinctive place for an aperitivo like this for a graduation party. The venue is simply wonderful. The service is friendly and welcoming. The cocktails are excellent, especially the non-alcoholic ones. They have a truly refined and pleasant flavor. The service is very polite and friendly, with staff who speak English and Spanish. The service is attentive, unobtrusive, kind, and professional. A truly enjoyable evening, every step of the way.
18/07/2026: A truly special place in the heart of medieval Perugia. It's located in a charming alleyway off Corso Garibaldi, and behind a simple door lies a garden you'd never expect to find: a small, hidden corner with a splendid view of Perugia, the valley, and the hills. We dined in the shade of fruit trees, among pear and plum trees, while some tables were set under a vine-covered pergola. A relaxing and unique atmosphere. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. It's one of those places you'll want to return to, not only for the good food, but also for the beauty of the setting. Highly recommended.
