30/06/2025: As promised, it was a MUST to write this review for this hotel. Structure organized on 3 levels. In the lower area: breakfast room, lunch and dinner room, bathrooms attached to the rooms and a wonderful swimming pool which unfortunately we did not use; ground floor: reception and rooms; first floor rooms. We were a group of about 50 people who stayed overnight and lodged in this structure on a full board basis. We chose it because of its strategic position: it allowed us to be in Assisi in about 25 minutes and since we moved by bus, in the structures located more in the city center we would have had to pay the entrance fee for the vehicle, but in this case we did not have to. The staff was extremely kind: Mr. Paolo, the receptionist, was able to welcome and manage all our requests, for this I have to mention him in an exceptional way, because his service and his precision contributed to making our stay easy and efficient, thank you. The restaurant staff was also always welcoming and ready to manage all our requests. The food served was well cooked and reasonably good, judgement expressed in the quality-price ratio. The rooms all equipped with TV and very efficient air conditioning; the beds really comfortable, with the only complaint of the pillows (always) too thin in hotels, but now we have learned to ask for a few more. The cleanliness was visibly high, both in the common areas and in the rooms. I was not afraid to take a shower without slippers and that says it all. A pleasant location surrounded by nature; ideal for a relaxing stay (infinity pool overlooking the Umbrian hills), as a base for visiting the beautiful villages near the abbey, or for group vacations (living room and terrace). Guido, an expert and passionate about the area, is a supporter of charitable projects and initiatives, which he will gladly explain when appropriate, and Stefano, an expert in courtesy and attentiveness, always with the right amount of discretion, will be happy to assist. An excellent solution!

26/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel for 4 days, with the mid-August holiday in between. It was a wonderful holiday; the hotel offers a wonderful pool with a hot tub and a lovely park with a restaurant. We dined on two evenings with traditional dishes, including menu variations for my daughter. The staff was extremely kind and helpful throughout; only the location, with its rugged road, made us choose not to go there in the evening. The dated Art Nouveau-style rooms were very large and spacious, and despite the lack of air conditioning, we slept very well; there is a large fan in the rooms. We'll gladly return.

04/10/2025: Generous portions, and the presentation was pretty good. But if I'm being honest, and I hope it makes sense, the flavor didn't strike me as particularly refined. The mushroom and truffle cream used in the tortellini lacked the right balance and had some solid particles that I couldn't quite figure out. The fried octopus with saffron sauce, also very generous, was undercooked. I can't give it a 5-star rating, as I expected, sorry.

16/06/2025: OH MY GOD!!! The caprese focaccia was AMAZING!!! Get it and pair it with a nice little drink. Loved it to come here consecutively for a few days! Genuinely such a discovery. The friendly waitresses were very fast. They even hosted a small art exhibition with local artists! Beautiful experience. But if i tell u the focaccia was the best I’ve ever had! I will be back as soon as possible! :)

19/09/2025: Excellent hospitality, courtesy and kindness abound, and the owner is very professional and friendly. The menu offers a wide selection of meat and fish, as well as local specialties. The waiters are attentive to the customer's needs and very kind and polite. We will gladly return.

13/08/2025: Excellent home-cooked food in a beautiful setting of the hilltop village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina and overlooking the Umbrian hills. We ate here three times during a two-week stay in the area. The truffle pastas were excellent, so was the grilled lamb. It was a gift to have this place nearby!
