02/08/2024: We stopped because the location is dreamlike, in the main square of Bevagna, in the evening, practically a blast from the past... in an instant you find yourself in another era. We had the perfectly cut tartare and the bruschetta with eggs, truffle and colonnata lard SPECIAL!!!! The wine was very good. I recommend the really tasty passatelli. Friendly and attentive service, dishes off the menu were also described to us. Excellent for quality of food and service

07/06/2024: Sulla piazza principale, con tavolini anche all’esterno. Mangiare ottimo, con porzioni notevoli. Tutto ben cucinato. Servizio attento e gentilissimo. Prezzi onesti. Vini con poco ricarico.

18/08/2024: We were looking for a place to eat and I don't know if it was more by chance or luck we came across this lovely tavern and I must say it exceeded our expectations. Both the potato pie with bacon crunchy and the pork fillet cooked at low temperature in a potato puree were divine, I tell you that these alone are worth the trip here. The mixed bruschettas and ravioli with burrata inside and stracciatella and tomato outside are delicious. The dishes are impeccably presented.

13/06/2024: how could you NOT love this place? They have done such a tasteful job at creating what felt to me like a 5-star hotel –but so much more tasteful – the receptionist, young fellow, was just awesome at welcoming me, showing me around – His English was impeccable and he organised anything I needed -- from taking me to dinner and booking the best massage ever from the hotel’s masseuse. She was awesome. Please pass on my big gratitude to both the receptionist and the masseuse -- they were so kind and professional (refer 27 May staying there) The Agriturismo nature of these Italian working farm-hotels is FANTASTIC -- and yet within the hundreds of years old villa lies a beautifully appointed and comfy hotel -- the rooms, the living room, the breakfast -- superb!

31/08/2024: We visited this restaurant for the first time in 2020 and remembered the dining experience with pleasure. We returned this summer and our expectations were more than met!! 😋 Delicious food. 😍 Very kind staff. 💰 Bill in line with the quality of the food. (About €50 each, with a glass, starter, first course and dessert) 💚 Location surrounded by greenery. Highly recommended!

18/08/2024: Very good. Perfect combination of traditional cuisine and innovation. The wine list is rich albeit a little obvious with the usual well-known names. However, a beautiful restaurant immersed in the Perugian countryside. Great relaxation and good food.

04/08/2024: Much less than initial expectations... if you want to eat pasta... go ahead but otherwise avoid. Fiorentina with a spoiled taste. And appetizer only lots of salami then for the rest 3 large pieces of omelette 2 of cheese Tuscan tomato soup and 4 mini bruschettas. Slow service.

21/07/2024: Just wonderful. Nice service, very tasty and good atmosphere. We had antipasti and 2 different pasta - one with tomato sauce and boar and the other one with truffles. The first one stole my hear, it was perfect !

09/08/2024: Giovannino is a free-range restaurant with a centenary history along the road that climbs from Assisi towards Gualdo Tadino. A rich menu, lots of good stuff, generous portions, very affordable prices, welcomes a mix of humanity ranging from the foreign tourist to the local inhabitant. Absolutely adorable. To be reviewed not with stars, but with hearts. And in that case, five wouldn't be enough.

07/08/2024: We ate last night in this restaurant and I must say that the dishes were really of excellent quality, good service at the table, a little confusion upon arrival, not having booked, they told us to wait at least an hour but in 15 minutes a table became free, they said that everything was booked but honestly we had several empty tables around so everything else was fine, even the bill.

02/07/2024: Discovered by chance located in a small village I found not only excellent food but also a lot of friendliness, also dedicated to those who love snails cooked in many ways but for those who don't like them there is no problem there are many other dishes to savor.

18/08/2024: The best pistachio gelato I ever had. (And I had many, all over Italy). Natural colours, deep flavour, super creamy smooth texture that coats your palate. I tried to come back to have another one a few days later, as I would be passing by Perugia again for a few hours. Unfortunately my travelbus was first canceled, then the replacement delayed. Long story short, there was no time to pass by this gelateria for another taste and I am quite sad about that. Nice service too, very kind and helpful with choosing new flavours.

19/08/2024: OPTIMAL!!!! I came across this place by chance. Courteous and very nice owner. Delightful location, quality food and excellent value for money!!!!

29/06/2024: I was a little bit skeptical about this place due to the variety of the menu, but I was happily surprised. Good ambiance, good dishes and good beer. Waitress was a little bit rushed to get the order, maybe because it was late at night.

18/07/2024: We visit Umbria very often and we like to discover and try new local restaurants. On Friday it was La Ruzzola's turn. Let me start by saying that the dining room staff is very kind, but the food... let's talk about it. La Ruzzola is a pizzeria-braceria-pub. We, meat lovers, ordered the tagliatelle given the vast choice. My partner ordered a rare truffle steak. It arrived cold, almost from the fridge, served on a cold cast iron plate. If it had been boiling hot, as theoretically it should be, perhaps the cooking of the meat would have been saved. After sending it back, it came back cooked, but obviously no longer rare, and the meat was tough and full of nerves. My cut? Barely warm and unfortunately hard. Maybe it was a test of our jaws. As an appetizer, I got the chicken wings and one was very cold. The white wine, probably to counteract the cold of the wings, arrived hot but after a request, a new cold bottle was brought to us. We noticed that others in the room were eating pizza. Maybe their specialty. But we won't go back to find out. We spent 70 euros for two slices (left on the plate), a portion of wings, a truffle egg, half a bottle of house wine and water. In conclusion, a well-paid evening of "gourmet fasting". We left hungry.

15/07/2024: I ate an excellent cut. In the evening the place is cool even in summer. It would be worth valorising the ancient parish church.

14/08/2024: Finalmente dopo aver cercato vari ristoranti mi sono imbattuto in questo locale gestito da persone genuine, di famiglia!! Finalmente Italia, sempre più difficile trovarli. Continuate così non mollate….. a proposito buono anche il cibo

10/08/2024: This is one of my favourite meals during 4 weeks touring Italy. I had the truffle pasta and the ricotta torta with berries for dessert. Both dishes were so incredibly delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the owner is such a lovely, kind hearted person! Grazie mille
