27/08/2024: The interior of the restaurant is unfurnished and extremely noisy; the food aims to be sophisticated but the liver foam is so light as to be tasteless and the cockerel is served in such a small portion (a skimpy thigh) that it leaves no memory of itself. Prices are high, considering the context, the area and the portions.

27/08/2024: I was here on August 26th for my birthday. Wonderful elegant location with perfect background music. The service was perfect, very efficient, kindness and helpfulness. The food is always a guarantee of excellent quality, refinement and preparation and a pleasure for the eyes even before the palate. The wine is always of the highest quality in excellent combination with the chosen dishes. Always satisfied I hope to return as soon as possible.

25/08/2024: Poor quality tourist menus, they charge tap water brought to the table and a cover charge of 2.50 but without tablecloths. To avoid, I also add that you have to expect these reviews, avoid these poor menus. Oil in the gnocchi is unhealthy and indigestible, poor quality food. If you have these assumptions about how customers should be treated in "economy" you won't even have regard to your 18-piece dishes. euro each. If the food was good I didn't complain. With this answer you have made yourself known for who you are. The water must be opened at the table. It was clearly from the fountain. Paid 2.50 per litre. I repeat, if the products had been acceptable I would have also ignored these tricks for tourists

26/08/2024: Sono celiaca e, quando voglio mangiare bene, torno sempre in questo locale! Non solo perché è una garanzia nella sicurezza dei piatti senza glutine, ma perché ho la possibilità di scegliere fra pietanze che vanno al di là della solita tagliata con insalata che viene riservata a chi come me soffre di questa condizione. La pasta ripiena è fatta in casa e anche i primi e i secondi sono molto sfiziosi, nulla da invidiare a quelli con glutine dei commensali che mi sono con me, anzi... Il locale è molto bello, luminoso ed accogliente, ho sempre fatto un'ottima figura con chi ci ho portato. E anche il personale è preparato e sempre disponibile. Fanno anche pizza senza glutine la sera, ma io personalmente sono sempre allettata dalla proposta dei piatti di mare o della tradizione umbra. Consiglio vivamente.

16/08/2024: Nice food, however not worth the quality-price. The service (waiting times) was terrible. We wait around 40 mins to order and around 1h to be served. The waitresses were super nice though, but the waiting times were the worst I have experienced in a while.. the restaurant was NOT full. We arrived around 21h and there were less than 15 tables occupied.. I am sorry but I would not recommend it!

22/07/2024: Ho trovato questo ristorante ottimo sotto tutti gli aspetti. Innanzi tutto la posizione; nella bella stagione si può scegliere tra le sale interne, fresche e luminose, ed i tavoli lungo i camminamenti medievali, una singolare stradina sotto antiche volte che si affacciano sul paesaggio circostante. L'accoglienza è gentile e sollecita; il menù non troppo ampio ma con scelte sapientemente diversificate fa in modo di accontentare un po' tutti i gusti. Anche le preparazioni sono un equilibrato mix tra il tradizionale e l'originale; le porzioni non eccessive permettono di gustare più portate. Tutti i piatti ordinati erano molto buoni, con una menzione speciale per gli antipasti. E' bene prenotare, ho visto che il ristorante è conosciuto e frequentato. Ultimo ma non ultimo una toilette impeccabile. I prezzi sono in linea con la qualità offerta.

18/02/2024: Da bravi umbri siamo amanti della porchetta e l'abbiamo gustata veramente ottima in questo banchino in prossimità di Santa Maria di Assisi. Un posto poco turistico ma dove si mangia veramente bene! Continuate così!!!

01/06/2024: This place is the real deal. Even though we were about an hour too early after a loooong (10 hours) on the road, the waiter/owner was kind enough to say we could order some pizza to go. We are staying in Castiglione del Lago and it was recommended that we go here. Well, they did not disappoint! We enjoyed the: capricciosa, del re (omg so good), the diavola/salame piccante & the vegetariana with ham. All thin crusted and perfect in proportion. We also went with local wine: Corio Rosso del Umbria which went well with the pizza.

26/06/2024: Ritornati dal lavoro tardi abbiamo deciso di fermarci per mangiare qualcosa… ho la cotoletta più orribile che abbia mai mangiato … una soletta troppo sottile.. troppo cotta, che è rimasta tutta nel piatto.. abbiamo preso anche una focaccia .. sottile e poco cotta.. esperienza pessima..

02/08/2024: Halfway between a village tavern and a refined restaurant, probably in search of its true identity, the La Pergola tavern positively surprises with its carefully prepared dishes and attentive service. Very nice location with a romantic "I don't know what". I've been there four or five times and will definitely come back again. Covered at a high price (3 euros), although always accompanied by a prosecco or small welcome entrée, but average prices.

29/07/2024: We are enchanted by this place!!! This is probably the best restaurant in Tuoro and the surrounding area. Mrs. Monika (the owner) is always able to give great advice on what to eat and drink;) We will come back with great pleasure!!!❤️

31/08/2024: We were very satisfied. The waitresses were extremely nice and hospitable. The food was excellent and as a little surprise we were given a small starter and even dessert from the kitchen. The main course was excellent. We sat outside and the service was still very attentive. Really recommended!!!

30/08/2024: I think the best review that could be done is this: I can't wait to go back! If I could, I would have given 6 stars to Chiara, impeccable service, advice and courtesy. My wife and I took home a memory of this restaurant that we will hardly forget: the wine recommendation was also excellent.

10/08/2024: It's always a pleasure to come back to visit the hosts.. excellent hosts and staff.. the cuisine is exceptional.. the whole menu is exceptional but the piadina is superb.. a well-kept and spotlessly clean structure.. a must try!!
