20/07/2025: I stumbled upon Trattoria Città D'Umbria by chance and, to my immense delight, discovered a fabulous establishment nestled in the greenery of the Ceno Valley. The building is historic, reflecting its past. The food is top-notch, with flavors that delight the palate and the mind, all elegantly served. The portions are more than generous, and the service is impeccable; you feel pampered by the smiling and knowledgeable waitresses. The coffee is served in grandmother's cups, which I loved. Congratulations, truly a place where you can truly feel at home in every way. I'll be back.

19/06/2025: When I pass through Spoleto, a dinner at Sportellino restaurant is a must! Excellent home cooking and friendly service. Strangozzi (or Stringozzi) with black truffle, among the best I have tried. Vegetables from the owners' garden. Moderate price. I hope to return soon!

09/06/2025: The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. A variety of dishes to choose from. The place is spacious, neat and clean. A warm welcoming restaurant that makes you feel like eating at home. The porcini strangozzi is very delicious. Recommended 👍🏻

03/05/2025: Da 6 anni che mangio qui, questa è la prima volta che lo recensisco. Ma se lo meritano. Le materie prime sono eccellenti, la cucina è equilibrata, gustosa, ottima. Una cantina ben fornita, prezzi giusti. Ambiente curato e pulito, Elia e Giovanni sono davvero affabili e accoglienti. Ci torno ogni volta che sono in zona. Grazie

28/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante suggerito dall’ospite del B&B in cui alloggiavamo, un consiglio veramente utile, abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Ho scelto un carciofo doppia cottura veramente sublime, così come tutti i piatti che abbiamo scelto.

13/07/2025: Organizzo questa cena con un bel gruppo di amici con cui abbiamo passato un ottimo week end in Umbria e ho ho scelto questo posto per i prodotti tipici umbri…..comunque abbiamo trovato un ottima qualità negli antipasti sia di salumi e formaggi he nelle tartare davvero super, primi ben fatti e porzioni giuste, ottimi vini e ottimo servizio, unica pecca i dolci che ci hanno un po deluso…. Comunque lo consiglio

16/07/2025: My husband and I decided to get married in this venue, which we found on matrimonio.com. We later discovered it was the same venue where a cousin of mine had gotten married. What can I say...I don't think there's a better place (at least in Umbria) to celebrate one of the most important days of your life. The staff was always available, not only for their specific needs but also for communicating and coordinating with other vendors. The venue was immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. The food: varied, tasty, varied, delicious, and plentiful. The pasta is rolled out by hand with a rolling pin. This aspect was one of the reasons I fell in love with this venue. It reminded me of my grandmother, from whom I inherited a rich love for manual labor; the kind that requires care, time, and patience; the kind that requires getting your hands dirty. This is the philosophy I found here. For this, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you, also on behalf of my husband, to Barbara and Beatrice. With their simplicity, honesty, kindness, and authenticity, they made our day so special and remembered with enormous appreciation by friends and family. Thank you so much ❤️

16/07/2025: We enjoyed a five-day stay immersed in nature and silence, in the charm of an ancient abbey. We felt welcomed with such kindness and helpfulness. We would recommend this place to anyone who loves nature and tranquility. P.S.: For those who want to relax, there's a very well-kept swimming pool with a wonderful view of the hilly landscape.

19/07/2025: We (9 people, including 5 kids) had a wonderful lunch here! There was something for everyone, the food was well-prepared, and the portions were generous! A special, very positive mention for our waiter!! He was the epitome of cheerfulness and very child-friendly! The frito misto and the sea bass "bacio style" are definitely worth a mention!! I highly recommend them. The only downside (but this applies to almost every Italian restaurant) is that you have to pay separately for vegetables and fries, which makes dining out a bit more expensive!

11/07/2025: Wij zijn enorme viseters dus waren blij een lekker visrestaurant in de buurt te vinden! De bediening was supervriendelijk en er was een uitgebreide menukaart, met zowel vis- en vleesgerechten. De pasta met zeevruchten was heerlijk, net als de visplank en octopus. De carbonara was aan de zoute kant. Na het afrekenen kregen we nog een kannetje lekkere limoncello gratis aangeboden! Een aanrader!

03/08/2025: We stayed there for one night at the Hotel delle Rose, which is conveniently located next to the church of Santa Rita. But when we entered the hotel room, we were incredibly disappointed: dirty balconies, a sagging bed, a bathroom with a 1960s bathtub, a fan, no air conditioning, a broken shutter. I've never seen anything like it. They put the photos online and it's just a huge rip-off. To get to the room, you have to take three elevators. What can I say? A horrible experience... Never again. I absolutely do not recommend it.

02/08/2025: My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first time for three nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were adequate, although Room 1 seemed small. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant; if I really had to recommend something, I'd recommend it to the manager. He should have the chef change jobs, because he still hasn't fixed the tables that are too loose, unless it's the floor. With these adjustments, I might give it five stars next time. The hotel deserves three stars thanks to the staff, whom we bid them farewell and wish them all the best.
