16/10/2025: My wife and I had a truly positive experience in a setting that charmingly reflects its past: the double-volume entrance with its staircase leading to the first floor, with its glass window overlooking the park, is the property's highlight. The owners, a large family, welcomed us graciously, and during our stay, in the evenings we spent time in front of the fireplace, chatting by the fireside, and singing along to the piano. Dinners featured quality dishes. Thanks to Novello, Teresa, and his daughter, a singer. A special thanks to little Pietro.

03/10/2025: Delicious food! Very, very nice service, though they still need some more education, but they're very talented at putting customers at ease. I enjoyed lunch very much. The seats are a bit narrow,but all in all I found it a great experience. And, they realized a special diet lunch for my friend, which is also a big plus. Thanks Jen and your wonderfully kind staff. Keep up the good work!

30/11/2025: We ate a sort of Spanish menu. The paella was more of a soup with blatantly frozen fish. The second course was fried cod; perhaps with less salt it would have been more appetizing. The atmosphere is overall cute and unique, but it's let down by paper napkins and tablecloths and torn chair covers.

At Passo di Giano, we were captivated by authentic cuisine, showcasing the flavors of lake fish with skill and passion. We began with a rich assortment of lake appetizers, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, which alone were worth the visit: delicate yet bold flavors, thoughtful pairings, and top-quality ingredients. The highlight of the lunch was a spectacular mixed lake grill, with perfectly cooked and flavorful fish, followed by two memorable dishes: eel in white wine, tender and intense, and grilled carp, surprisingly tasty and served impeccably cooked. To accompany everything, an excellent local wine, carefully chosen and perfect for enhancing each course. To finish on a sweet note, a simply delicious caramel panna cotta: creamy, velvety, and with an aromatic caramel that won everyone over. The service was warm and attentive, with friendly and helpful staff who were able to offer excellent advice. 19/08/2025: A huge bar nestled in the green Umbrian countryside near Cannara Bevagna. Delicious food.

05/07/2025: A place to stop in the morning after cycling for breakfast with a nice croissant and coffee from the bar, maybe some cold drinks as a reference to continue the journey towards Bevagna. In the afternoon and evening the view is magical with the sunset and its magical colors of pink, purple, orange from the windows that overlook the surrounding vineyards, enjoying a good red wine from the area or a prosecco recommended by the owner of the bar. For the little ones and greedy adults its strong point is the _artisanal ice cream_ made by hand with seasonal fruit flavors and some classics of the past, memories emerge while you eat it. For lovers of herbal teas a wide choice with their pastries of the moment. To conclude the very kind staff can help you choose the best options to enjoy an unforgettable moment in your stay.

20/10/2025: What can I say? A group of 12 of us stayed overnight on the evening of October 18, 2025. After a FABULOUS dinner, we had a fantastic time, everything was perfect. Excellent value for money, I personally recommend it.

16/10/2025: We ate well, featuring typical local dishes. We tasted both the Sagrantino and Monterosso wines. There were two of us, and we ordered an appetizer, two first courses, a second course with a side dish, coffee, and two glasses of wine. €73 seemed fair, considering the second course was a fillet steak.

26/10/2025: Breathtaking views of the Castelluccio plain. During our stay, we even enjoyed some snow on the summits of some of the mountains. A traditional dinner and a hearty breakfast were served. The price was reasonable, considering the warm welcome, the room, and the location.

13/10/2025: I've been staying at Monte Veletta for a few years now. It's the perfect place: you sleep well, it's clean, beautiful, and Signora Luigia's cooking is exceptional. Michela, her daughter, waits tables and makes the desserts. Breakfasts are plentiful, with Michela's cakes. It's a family-run establishment: I recommend trying the lentil soup, which comes directly from the land of Signor Ottavio, the head of the family.
