21/05/2025: Place in the center, nothing exceptional as a bar. The waiter who takes the orders is a disaster. We ask if we can sit down and they say yes. After a while other people arrive and are served but we are not taken into consideration even when we make a sign that we are waiting. After the third couple served arrived after us we leave. We probably do not speak German and it is a shortcoming. They are lucky to be in the center because with that way of doing things they would deserve to close

29/03/2025: Gasthof Sonne is a historic hotel in the center of San Lorenzo di Sebato, near Brunico. Excellent location for visiting the Pusteria Valley. I stayed in an excellently furnished single room, large bathroom and comfortable bed. Super breakfast with fresh bread and excellent croissants, dinner is typical with a strong point in the soups. The rating takes into account quality and price.

01/06/2025: A superbly rustic wine tavern, where Mali herself still cooks. A breathtaking view of South Tyrol—I've never seen anything like it. There's a small food selection where everyone is sure to find something they like. The Schlutzkrapfen (scraps) are among the best I've ever eaten; every bite is a delight. We'll definitely be back and stay there again.

13/05/2025: The food was delicious and the service cordial – unfortunately, the lack of a menu significantly dampens the overall impression. When comparing the price list with other reviews, we realized that we paid about €20 too much for our order (2 Schlutzer sausages, 1 coleslaw, 1 small Straube, 1 small portion of Apfelküchle, 1 elderberry, 1 apple juice) at €64. This seems arbitrary and lacking in transparency – a real shame given an otherwise pleasant experience.

20/07/2025: Rifugio che non è un rifugio, la vista è spettacolare come lo è in tanti rifugio di montagna ma questo non è un rifugio, dovrebbero cambiare il nome perchè è un ristorante vero e proprio, se arrivi ad ora di pranzo non puoi entrare per un caffè perchè fanno solo servizio al tavolo e quindi devi mangiare, prezzi da stellato, si salva il bagno, pulito come se ne vedono pochi ma per il resto male male.

20/07/2025: We went to this hut for lunch during the hike. First of all, I would like to point out that the hut faces a large influx of tourists in the summer, so refreshments are possible in two ways: Either just a bar and small dishes (outside) or a restaurant with indoor seating. The service is pleasant, but despite their large number, they sometimes can't keep up. The offer is wide, but the prices are higher even among alpine huts due to the high demand; fortunately, the portions are large, so you can fill up even with just the soup.

06/07/2025: We had a wonderful evening at the Zum Hirschen restaurant! From the super friendly, professional, and humorous service to the fantastic food! Best gourmet pizza ever!!! The delicious appetizers were also impressive! We absolutely recommend them! A heartfelt "Grazie" from our dog too!

24/06/2025: We've been regularly visiting this inn for three years now—a truly relaxing place! The food is always excellent, the rooms are very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. You just feel completely at home. We'll definitely be back! Daniel and Kerstin ❤️

24/06/2025: The restaurant has a large internal room and an external courtyard. The menu is minimal and except for the pizzas the prices are quite high. The quality of the dishes is good and they are well presented.

12/01/2025: Un po’ fuori da Vipiteno con una bellissima vista sullo stesso. Ambiente caratteristico, fa anche le pizze. Cotoletta veramente grande. La grigliata mista non irresistibile. In tre con due primi, tris di canederli e tagliatelle alla selvaggina, una pizza ai 4 formaggi con verdure, grigliata, cotoletta e due dolci, 93€.

12/01/2025: Cordialità e disponibilità sono evidenti dal primo contatto! Gentilezza del personale, camere pulitissime e profumate. Cibo MOLTO abbondante, sia per le colazioni che per pranzo/cena. Arredamento meraviglioso… Qualità TOP!!!

14/07/2025: We were very pleased. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. The location is quiet, surrounded by nature, and peaceful. It offers a wonderful environment for relaxing and having a good time.

29/06/2025: Sometimes the unexpected brings you to a place you fall in love with. When I booked this I was looking for a base camp for visiting the Dolomites. The curvy drive up to here had us wondering where we were heading and we landed here. The clouds refused to part enough for us to get up close to the Dolomites, so while we waited, we explored this beautiful place, its surrounding villages, and Bolzano about 15 miles away. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. There was no elevator, but the helpful staff carried our luggage up without us asking. They were the best part of it all. Breakfast was generous and of quality. Great coffee and they serve dinner at 7:00 pm. Pizza is available earlier. St. Leonard Church is right next door, and there is a mini-store across the street. The only opportunity would be to have a mini fridge in the room to chill water and store leftovers. They were very kind and let us store our ice chest in their walk-in fridge. At the end of our stay, we hugged them all goodbye. Thank you, Rosa and Alex for your great hospitality.

02/03/2025: Solo estuvimos en San Vigilio por 4 noches como un grupo de 12 reservamos Erika's para nuestra segunda noche y tuvimos una gran comida, el servicio fue muy bueno la joven que nos atendió era muy sonriente y nada era demasiado problema. Cuando el restaurante que habíamos reservado para nuestra última noche nos dijo que iban a cerrar su cocina a las 7. 30 sea todo dicho volvamos a casa de Erica y no defraudó, la misma camarera sonriente nos cuidó.

25/02/2025: Very nice hotel located a short walk from the city center. The very strategic position with a ski bus stop less than 100m away which takes you to the Miara lift. Comfortable rooms, slightly lacking in soundproofing, but otherwise perfect for a couple. The breakfast was good but an honorable mention to the dinner which was truly sublime. It also offers a SPA and ski storage. The owner and all the staff were really kind and helpful and made us have a truly pleasant holiday.

08/06/2025: I've been coming to the Steinerhof in Pfelders since 2003 and, after a long break, I've returned with a friend. The entire Hofer family is characterized by their warmth and hospitality. Even after nine years, it feels like "coming home." The apartments are spacious and have great balconies for enjoying the beautiful view. The biggest highlight is the rides with the fantastic Haflinger horses, lovingly trained by Alberich and his daughters. Thanks to the attentive guidance of the family members, we quickly gained confidence on horseback in the challenging terrain of Pfelders. The family's farm tavern is also highly recommended. Katy prepares delicious dishes using regional and home-grown products. You once again made our stay something special - thank you very much, we look forward to seeing you again soon.😊

11/03/2025: Il ristorante si trova in centro al piccolo paese di Plan in val Passiria. È molto accogliente e arredato in stile rustico, tutto in legno. Il personale molto gentile. I piatti tipici sono gustosi e abbondanti e a base di prodotti a km 0. Le carni provengono dall'allevamento di famiglia. La cuoca Katy è molto brava ad usare gli ingredienti per i piatti tipici! Ottimi i dolci. Per finire il proprietario signor Alberich propone l'assaggio delle sue grappe a base di erbe e radici autoprodotte, vere medicine, naturalmente senza esagerare. Consigliato a chi ama i piatti rustici.
