11/08/2025: My first time at the Waldsee Hotel was a lovely surprise. Mrs. Judit was empathetic, always courteous, and helpful. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. In the evening, dinner is served outdoors, adding further value to an already splendid location. The proximity to the popular Fiè lakes doesn't bother guests; the after-dinner stroll to the lake was a wonderful daily experience for us. You truly feel immersed in nature, and it's an ideal starting point for excursions that cater to all tastes. Breakfast and dinner were excellent; we appreciated the quality of the food. It's definitely a delightful experience worth repeating.

07/08/2025: **Hotel Review** We discovered the hotel in the fall of 2024 while on a hike. At that time, it was either under renovation or simply closed. We definitely wanted to spend a week here in the summer, as the surrounding area is truly charming. The hotel's location is undoubtedly a major advantage. There are countless hiking trails and breathtaking views that make a stay worthwhile. However, we were disappointed with the rooms. They seem dated and could desperately use a refresh. While we weren't surprised, as we had already gotten a first impression from our initial exploration, we would have appreciated a bit of modernization. The staff was very attentive and friendly at the beginning of our stay, but this attention dwindled over time. The breakfast was average and offered no special highlights. They tried to make dinner at the hotel appealing to us, but since there are many other restaurants nearby, we ultimately decided against it. One thing that particularly bothered us was the negative reaction of some guests to our children. Many families were present, and while the children were observing and carefully catching lizards, a woman verbally attacked them. Our children never harmed the animals and always released them. Such behavior is unacceptable and spoils the atmosphere, which is intended for a family vacation. The spa and pool are decent and offer welcome relaxation after our hikes. In summary, we will definitely visit the area again, but not at this hotel. The location is beautiful, but the dated rooms and the mixed atmosphere among the guests make us think of other accommodations.

08/09/2025: Amazing food. Tried local specialties (cananderli and tagliatelle). Dessert was strudel and was fabulous.

16/08/2025: A refuge at 1900m offering a restaurant, overnight accommodations, and breakfast. Reachable by car via a 20-minute drive through the woods: I recommend a slightly higher-capacity vehicle, as the dirt road is potholed, and I don't recommend driving at night, as it's not lit. Stunning views of the entire valley at sunrise and sunset. Located at the crossroads of several trails on Monte Cavallo, it's an ideal place if you want to spend a couple of days away from the city and enjoy some nature walks. We had a great time: excellent food, with the option of a set menu in the evening for overnight guests, and very friendly and helpful staff. There are some children's games and a volleyball court. Top!

02/03/2025: Solo estuvimos en San Vigilio por 4 noches como un grupo de 12 reservamos Erika's para nuestra segunda noche y tuvimos una gran comida, el servicio fue muy bueno la joven que nos atendió era muy sonriente y nada era demasiado problema. Cuando el restaurante que habíamos reservado para nuestra última noche nos dijo que iban a cerrar su cocina a las 7. 30 sea todo dicho volvamos a casa de Erica y no defraudó, la misma camarera sonriente nos cuidó.

23/08/2025: You can only sit down if you order at the restaurant. If you order sandwiches (which aren't cheap, by the way), you have to eat them outside. With empty tables and a closed kitchen. Welcoming customers is another matter entirely.

25/07/2025: Great every time. :) Very tasty delicatessen in the heart of Brixen. We stop here regularly and enjoy a coffee on the sunny terrace. Very friendly service. 👍🏼

26/07/2025: The food is good to very good, and the service is very friendly. Due to the prices, it's not overcrowded, so there are no tourists.

21/07/2025: Unfortunately, the culinary experience was a disaster. The service was OK. The wine was good, but the main course was a bland fish with no taste and cold broccoli. This was my wife's and she recommended an octopus with carpaccio to me. Disaster. I paid 122 euros for nothing. Total disappointment.

06/09/2025: Clean and delicious restaurant. I tried the chicken burger, it was excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone who's close to Vipiteno.

25/08/2025: The restaurant reflects the typical character of the area. Large internal room with benches and tables also outside. Large parking lot very close by. Abundant dishes, very good first courses, thin and crumbly pizza. Very friendly and helpful staff.

07/09/2025: We spontaneously booked a night at the hotel (we were passing through). The staff was very nice and friendly, and the room was also very clean. Upon arrival, we asked how long we could stay in the garage the next day, as we still wanted to see the city. The next day, at the cable car, we learned that some hotels have guest cabins. These would have allowed us to use the cable car and narrow-gauge railway for free. We didn't have this card and had to pay the full €40 for two people! Since the hotel, which isn't cheap anyway, didn't tell us about this, we're reducing our otherwise top rating accordingly. This isn't fair.

16/08/2025: Strategic location for discovering the surrounding scenic beauty. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast buffet with excellent products. Option to take advantage of the half-board service or the attached bistro with an excellent menu for all tastes. Friendly and professional staff: Mohad and Valerio are TOP!

10/08/2025: One of the best experiences I’ve had. Very pretty views and peaceful environments. Unexpectedly, the food was amazing, eaten the snitzel dish 3 days in a row. Mounaim was the best, very kind and helped us with evertything, even some special requests. Would recommend anytime and will for sure come back.

18/08/2025: We stopped for a few aperitifs, a great location to relax a bit but still be in the heart of the nightlife!

27/08/2025: Spacious restaurant with amazing views, especially at sunset. There is a children's playground next to the outdoor tables. The staff is very respectful, helpful, and knowledgeable about Muslim needs. The menu is available in English and Italian, making it easy to choose from. We tried the calamari, four cheese pizza, campana pizza, and shrimp pasta, and they were delicious. The prices are reasonable and the experience was excellent. I highly recommend it!

25/08/2025: I've been frequenting this place for years on vacation, but the recent change in management isn't to my taste. Between questionable choices (reduction of South Tyrolean dishes to introduce a fish menu), half-raw dumplings, cold mashed potatoes, and even cold bread (!), it makes me wonder if many items were defrosted.
