24/11/2025: I'm a frequent visitor to this area, and I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. You certainly won't leave hungry. The ingredients are top-quality and always well-cooked. The waitresses are always quick and have that ever-present smile. Kindness and courtesy always round out an excellent meal. The atmosphere is very nice and clean. There's a bowling alley attached to the restaurant. Always a great place to stop for a warm refreshment after a walk along the nearby trails. Highly recommended!

12/11/2025: The large turnout speaks volumes. Tables are only available with a reservation, even in advance. The food is excellent. Generously generous portions. Therefore, good value for money. Despite the large crowd, the staff were calm and friendly. Highly recommended.

01/06/2025: A very nice hotel in a great location. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were incredibly delicious. We were there with two children (9 and 12 years old), and both loved the food. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented; even seconds were no problem. The hotel is located in the village center, a bus stop is a minute away, and the location is perfect for starting hikes. Melanie gave us excellent tips and recommendations for excursions and hikes. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the hotel! Thank you very much, Melanie, Andreas, and the team!

30/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal here! Both the starter and main course were delicious and the portions were good/large. We didn't have room for dessert! There were also plenty of vegetarian options, which isn't available everywhere in the area. I was really craving the dumplings and could choose spinach or beetroot instead of bacon. Great service!

20/10/2025: We stayed here for one night while passing through and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are simple but clean. The food was perfect. The pizza was as you'd expect in Italy, and even better. The schnitzel and roast potatoes were perfect. The breakfast, for a 2-star hotel, should definitely be 5-star. Coffee was available in all varieties! The atmosphere in the evenings and in the mornings was friendly and very humorous. If you like a rustic and cozy place, this is the place for you. Thank you for the lovely stay, we'd love to come back!

26/07/2025: There were three of us at the restaurant, and we were all thoroughly impressed. I had the pickled trout as a starter – wonderfully tender and perfectly balanced in flavor. The main course was the kid goat, which was cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. The recommended red wine was also a perfect complement. The service was attentive, the atmosphere pleasant – there really was nothing to complain about. We were all very satisfied and would gladly return.

20/07/2025: We stopped for an event. The food served was regional and very good. The view directly below these mountains is magnificent. We'll definitely stop by again on our next trip to South Tyrol.

03/10/2025: We arrived without a reservation, and they found us a table and served us promptly. Very friendly and fast. The view of the valley is beautiful, as the restaurant is located at the edge of the forest, higher up than everything else. The food was good; we had a venison carpaccio appetizer and grilled vegetables (my partner), followed by a Swiss pine risotto and a potato soup. I'd say it was all very good and the price was average.

12/10/2025: I recently had the pleasure of spending 14 days at this beautiful hotel. The atmosphere is friendly and informal; you immediately feel at home and included. The food is sensationally good; special requests and seconds are welcome, although not necessary, as everything is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The view and location are indescribably beautiful. The cleaning and service staff are very friendly, funny, and forthcoming. I've never vacationed anywhere twice before, but this time I'm considering coming back. If that isn't a good sign, I'll be happy to hear it. Thank you so much for everything.

30/09/2025: Beautiful hotel. The staff and owners are very personable, friendly, and attentive. All the rooms are spotlessly clean! The food is delicious, and the selection is incredibly extensive. We will definitely be back!

24/09/2025: We stayed at the Steinerhof for four nights with our dog, Apollo. It was so wonderful with you, we felt truly at home. The delicious breakfast, prepared with so much love and warmth, was truly amazing. Then the incredibly delicious and plentiful dinner was truly 5-star quality! Kathy cooks so wonderfully! It was an all-around wonderful vacation with you. We parked our car on Sunday and started the day from there. We went on beautiful hikes in fantastic weather ☀️🤗 Thank you so much for everything Kathrin, Marko, and Apollo 🐾😘

16/09/2025: We were privileged to spend two wonderful weeks at the Steinerhof farm at the beginning of August. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Thank you so much for the warmth and the fun conversations over a glass of schnapps in the evenings. We stayed in the old farmer's suite. The charm of the 400-year-old wood was immediately captivating, so it wasn't a problem to duck your head in the doorway. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy. But that's what old houses bring. The food in the farm tavern is also highly recommended. You shouldn't miss the homemade syrups or schnapps. A big thank you goes to Dora, who looked after us so well during our riding in the arena and on our trail rides. The trail rides in particular are pure adventure; the horses are absolutely relaxed (when I think of ours ;-) ) and sure-footed. It's also great to be able to go into the stables and cuddle at any time. In Pfelders, you can simply leave the car behind and relax. Waking up in the morning with such a panorama just makes you feel good. The village festival on the Feast of the Assumption was a lovely way to end the day. Thanks for the wonderful time. 11/10/2025: For us, one of the most beautiful places in the Alps. A cozy alpine hut with truly delicious food, unobtrusive, friendly service, a fantastic panoramic view, and reasonable prices. It couldn't be better. A best place to be.

02/10/2025: Culinary delights of the finest quality, served by highly motivated staff, both inside and outside the hut, enhanced by a magnificent view of the mountains.

07/09/2025: The food was very tasty. The ambiance was very quiet and a bit awkward. On a Sunday night, the space felt very empty. The service was okay but very transactional and indifferent.

22/08/2025: The TREE BRASSERIE is currently my clear favorite for a nice dinner in Merano. The service reflects the many years of international experience of the staff. The menu impresses with straightforward, relatively "simple" dishes, which are nevertheless excellently presented and prepared. The quality and value for money are top-notch, especially by international standards. The ambiance and location are appealing and very relaxed. In summary, the TREE BRASSERIE is worth a visit in every respect.

19/09/2025: Everything was delicious. We ate here twice because we liked it so much. We recommend the Friday specials at a great price. We tried four different dishes, and all were exceptionally tasty. The price-to-quality ratio was very good. The portions were large. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant, mountainous, and you can feel the Dolomites. I recommend it 100%.
