17/08/2025: We only stopped at the bar without staying overnight. The friendliness and quality of the products (cakes and juices) suggest considering a stay.

13/08/2025: We were passing through, we only had lunch at the restaurant, and you can't say it's a 4-star hotel restaurant at all! The food is poor quality—for example, the parmesan shavings in a salad were so hard they looked like they'd been cut days ago. The service was disappointing, with two waiters constantly mumbling. A smile from the managers would also have been appreciated, and I understand it's a busy season, but considering the bill we paid, a small smile would have been appreciated.

30/08/2025: Rude lady: When we asked, "Is there room for two or are you full?" she replied, "We're not full, but not today." And she sent us away!!! Totally rude.

27/08/2025: Good food with a set menu and reservations required in a fantastic, old-fashioned, yet immaculately kept location. The lady serving is very kind, and there's no wait. The only downside is not receiving a written bill, and having been there twice, I paid the same amount, even though we ordered less food and wine the second time. .

17/07/2025: We stayed at the hotel in mid-July. Room 220 is gorgeous!! Welcoming, fragrant, with all the mountain comforts, modern and contemporary style. From the terrace, an incredible view of the Dolomite peaks! Excellent breakfasts and dinners with impeccable service!! Lorenzo and Rahul are adorable 🥰 We absolutely loved the spa, spacious and well-maintained. The outdoor pool is a true experience, with an infinity edge in the lawn and the Sasso Piatto and Sassolungo mountains in front, like a thousand-year-old protection, surrounded by kilometers of flowery and fragrant meadows. A true privilege to have found this location and this welcome. Thank you, Gisella

The staff is exceptionally kind, always available and smiling, ready to meet every need with professionalism. The location is simply perfect: immersed in a breathtaking setting that makes every awakening special. The service is consistently impeccable: clean and well-maintained rooms, a generous breakfast and delicious dinners, and attention to detail in every corner.

02/07/2025: We only drink at the Ochsenalm, as the hut is just a stopover on our route. Everyone is very friendly, and the Alpen Spritz and coffee specialties are excellent.

19/08/2025: Embarrassing: on the waiter's recommendation, I order the dish of the day, risotto with fresh porcini and chanterelle mushrooms. I'm served a runny rice soup with chanterelle mushrooms, and to top it all off, my plate contains porcini mushrooms, while my companion's plate contains only a single piece of porcini. It's probably my fault for trusting the waiter's advice! But heck, using appropriate rice for risotto doesn't seem complicated! I decide to eat it anyway and not argue. However, when they asked me how my lunch went, I couldn't help but express my disappointment. They apologized, claiming there were problems in the kitchen, not admitting that the real problem was the use of inappropriate rice, soup rice. They probably think risotto is like that... a big pot for everyone! The icing on the cake... to apologize for my dissatisfaction, they discounted my water. At that point, I was speechless. I'm not in the habit of writing bad reviews, but this is bordering on the grotesque. A few clarifications regarding the response I received from the owner: I don't accept being called unfair by claiming that the comments in the review weren't brought forward that evening. Talk to your waitress, the one who came to pick up the dishes. She kindly asked me if I liked the dish, and I just as kindly explained to her in detail what wasn't right. The waitress probably didn't tell her what I had reported, merely saying that I hadn't liked it.

06/07/2025: A wonderful, relaxing stay in a fantastic location We stayed at the hotel above Latsch with an e-bike tour group – an absolutely quiet, idyllic location with stunning views of the South Tyrolean landscape. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well-maintained, and well-equipped. The well-designed underground parking garage, which was perfectly equipped for e-bikes – including charging stations – deserves special mention. Our rooms with a garden view were pleasantly quiet, allowing us to relax wonderfully. The beautiful garden with pool offered just the right respite after our bike rides. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the dinner was a real highlight – culinary delights of the highest caliber and sensational quality. Added to that, the very friendly, attentive service and the extremely friendly hosts. We felt completely at home and left feeling completely rested. Highly recommended – we would love to come back!

24/08/2025: They blocked every deviation from the trail with electric wire or even barbed wire. They cut off the water from the fountain just below the mountain hut. They fenced off the picnic areas. It's practically become a restaurant with an adjoining playground.

23/08/2025: We really like this hike and this mountain hut, both in summer and winter, the fantastic environment, large spaces with games for children, good choice of typical dishes, children's menus, fair prices.

08/06/2025: I've been coming to the Steinerhof in Pfelders since 2003 and, after a long break, I've returned with a friend. The entire Hofer family is characterized by their warmth and hospitality. Even after nine years, it feels like "coming home." The apartments are spacious and have great balconies for enjoying the beautiful view. The biggest highlight is the rides with the fantastic Haflinger horses, lovingly trained by Alberich and his daughters. Thanks to the attentive guidance of the family members, we quickly gained confidence on horseback in the challenging terrain of Pfelders. The family's farm tavern is also highly recommended. Katy prepares delicious dishes using regional and home-grown products. You once again made our stay something special - thank you very much, we look forward to seeing you again soon.😊

11/03/2025: Il ristorante si trova in centro al piccolo paese di Plan in val Passiria. È molto accogliente e arredato in stile rustico, tutto in legno. Il personale molto gentile. I piatti tipici sono gustosi e abbondanti e a base di prodotti a km 0. Le carni provengono dall'allevamento di famiglia. La cuoca Katy è molto brava ad usare gli ingredienti per i piatti tipici! Ottimi i dolci. Per finire il proprietario signor Alberich propone l'assaggio delle sue grappe a base di erbe e radici autoprodotte, vere medicine, naturalmente senza esagerare. Consigliato a chi ama i piatti rustici.

07/09/2025: Without a doubt a great location. But it has a chic feel, with Porsches advertised everywhere. It's even parked right in front of the hut. Truly great, both inside and out. The food looked delicious, and inside, the display case is lined with fine wines. But somehow it doesn't quite fit in a hiking area. It's easily accessible on foot from Passo Gardena in a short time.
