28/10/2025: A fantastic bakery, where service and passion for their work are paramount. The chestnut cake is highly recommended. The chestnuts really come into their own and are a perfect match. The Black Forest cake and the quark turnover are also highly recommended.

25/08/2025: The restaurant reflects the typical character of the area. Large internal room with benches and tables also outside. Large parking lot very close by. Abundant dishes, very good first courses, thin and crumbly pizza. Very friendly and helpful staff.

03/01/2026: The last day of 2025 was the last day of operation for the Goldener Loewe. A heartfelt thank you goes to Didi, his family, and his staff...and we look forward to a new initiative that can once again become a point of reference for Monguelfo.... The quality I've always associated with Didi and his team is: hospitality. The hospitality was further supported by the restaurant offerings, the choice of recipes, and the simple, traditional flavors and tastes. Tradition needs to be reinterpreted, but it is a distinctive feature of this land and, more broadly, of all the lands of Italy, which give strength to diversity... I hope Monguelfo continues to maintain its own identity... without becoming overcrowded with tourism and easy profits... and maintaining the balance between the Dolomites' environment and the woods, the animals, and the people. This is the beauty I've always found here. It's a welcome refuge; when time is short or we arrive at the last minute, we've always found a solution with traditional dishes and delicious flavors. Last Thursday we chose risotto with mushrooms, chanterelles, and porcini mushrooms... and the positive opinion was unanimous.

11/10/2025: Dinner for two. We had booked, specifying a quiet table. We were seated at the entrance, at the walk-through table. The people standing at the bar enjoying aperitifs were less than a meter away from us: it felt like we were in the middle of a market, with the added hustle and bustle of people coming and going. To top it all off, the door leading outside was constantly left open, leaving us eating in a cold draft. The table was too small to hold two glasses and two plates.

18/02/2026: Fantastic South Tyrolean cuisine! The food was delicious and we were able to fully enjoy our last day of vacation. We highly recommend the Gasthaus Kohlgrube. The service was also first-class and perfectly rounded off our visit :-) Thank you

08/11/2025: Incredibly friendly people. It was a spontaneous stop; I initially thought it was closed. But since an older gentleman went in before me, I didn't turn around but went in. The terrace is really nicely decorated. In the morning, I'd even say it was sunny ☀️. I only had a drink, so I don't know what the food is like.

29/01/2026: For many years now, our wonderful group of friends and I have been coming here for our ski holidays. Practically the entire residence feels like home to us, a big family with the kind and helpful owner, Karen. All this is nestled in the captivating setting of the King Laurin Dolomites, which glow at sunrise and sunset, just steps from Lake Carezza, the slopes, and the town's amenities. I cherish wonderful memories and moments here. Seeing is believing.

28/01/2026: We've been staying at Residence Luna for years, located in the central area of ​​Nova Levante, just steps from the supermarket, ski rentals, and an excellent bakery and pastry shop. Everything was perfect: cleanliness, comfort, and above all, Karen's warm welcome, helpfulness, and kindness. What more can I say? You feel right at home. Highly recommended.

29/09/2025: A sunny outdoor spot. The food is simple but delicious. Reasonable prices. If the weather is good, a magnificent view. It's a 30-minute walk from the parking lot to the snack bar. Accessible with a stroller.

The food was technically well-executed and everything was spot-on. The portions were pleasantly large despite the supposed fine dining expectations. All in all, an absolute recommendation.

22/10/2025: We stopped by Ploner for a rest after a hike and were rewarded with a magnificent meal and excellent service—what a gem! The bread basket with colorful homemade baguette was phenomenal, and the tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms and venison ragout was the best of our vacation. We thank our hosts and wish them continued success 🍷PS The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired.

09/02/2026: Difficult review. Difficult because the hotel is structurally in such bad shape. Difficult because it's run by lovely, helpful people who welcome you with a smile. Anyone who books here knows they'll find rooms from the 1980s, knows that kitchen smells permeate every floor of the hotel, and knows they'll have to leave their clothes outside the window. I hope this hotel is completely renovated sooner rather than later, because it deserves it.

14/01/2026: Excellent service and the carbonara was delicious. Eating here was a great choice. We were grateful they closed later than the other restaurants we found in the area.
