14/05/2025: The New Zealand Ocean Beef fillet tasted excellent. It was a great idea to offer a variety of seasonings. The grilled vegetables and rosemary potatoes also left nothing to be desired. The tiramisu wasn't entirely to my taste, but the chocolate cake with a liquid center was a 10/10. The service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. The quality and service definitely justify the price, in my opinion. The only drawback, for a somewhat more upscale restaurant, is the presentation of the dishes.

31/05/2025: A very appealing, regionally and seasonal menu, all dishes made with high-quality ingredients, perfectly seasoned and presented. There was nothing to complain about. Very friendly service in a family atmosphere. It's good that there are still such dedicated and capable young hosts.

03/05/2025: We were there for lunch today and had a very good meal. The service is also great. The Tscheiner Hütte offers space for around 30 guests, really cozy. “Upscale cuisine” sums it up, great surprise, especially since most of the restaurants in the area are still closed at the beginning of May.

12/09/2024: Great hut and very tasty Kaiserschmarrn, very friendly host, very moderate prices! Nice and easy hike to Seebalm and on the way back we walked around Lake Durnholz! Super nice area 👍

29/05/2025: The shrimp tapas were delicious. The service was attentive to the best of its ability, as it couldn't possibly be more. For my taste, the atmosphere was fine, but due to the number of people, it lost some of its charm.

07/04/2025: Typical place where locals go for lunch. Subscription food is available. There are only a few dishes but they are very tastefully prepared and taste really good. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. The waitresses are very friendly

21/05/2025: Place in the center, nothing exceptional as a bar. The waiter who takes the orders is a disaster. We ask if we can sit down and they say yes. After a while other people arrive and are served but we are not taken into consideration even when we make a sign that we are waiting. After the third couple served arrived after us we leave. We probably do not speak German and it is a shortcoming. They are lucky to be in the center because with that way of doing things they would deserve to close

08/04/2025: This review is solely based on hotel policy as my partner and I didn't get an opportunity to stay at the location. I found out after booking my nonrefundable stay through a third party platform that I am pregnant and for medical purposes unable to travel at time of reservation. My doctor communicated this in a letter to the hotel but the staff were unwilling to cancel or use funds for future travel. It feels rather unempathetic to not acknowledge this need and for these reasons I will not be recommending this hotel now or in the future.

15/10/2024: Very modern "mountain hut" (new building) with great facilities, very nice rooms with single beds and great sanitary facilities. The service was great, as was the food. The half board is more expensive (€69) than in other huts, but the starter and main course were very good and the portions were very large, and the breakfast was also extremely good. The drinks are also a little more expensive.

24/05/2025: Wir waren heute zufällig dort. Das Essen ist 100 % erstklassige regionale Küche. Das ganze in exzellenter Qualität. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Der Ausblick auf die umliegende Bergwelt war umwerfend Wir werden wiederkommen und bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit dort Ulrike & Ralf

Unser Gasthof, im Süden Südtirols, ist sonnig und ruhig gelegen, abseits von Verkehr und Lärm." Südtiroler Küche. Park- und Wandergelegenheiten, großer Innen- und Außenbereich. Man macht etwas falsch, wenn man in der Gegend ist und nicht dort hingeht.

26/05/2025: Great location, but this restaurant has gone completely downhill since the new management! The staff barely speaks German and not even good Italian! There were five of us there on Mother's Day, and three orders were misunderstood and thus served incorrectly! Small portions (pizza dough millimeters 😂) but reasonable prices! We used to go there often and were always satisfied, but since the new management, this is a NO GO!!

08/05/2025: It used to be better, but since there are Italians there it's no longer so nice and comfortable. Kaiserschmarn is just an omelette with no taste. And mixed salad only leaf lettuce without vegetables and that for 8€. Just weak.

10/05/2025: The best pizza in Bolzano ever, I ordered a takeaway pizza from Pizzeria da Gigi where now every time I want to eat a good pizza I always order it or go to their place to eat it, and I have no words to describe it, the pizza always arrives hot, plentiful as if they had just baked it, tasty, crunchy and all the other things that a person looks for in a pizza, not to mention the enormous vastness in the choice, I recommend it for any occasion especially if you want to enjoy a very good pizza well done! Compliments

06/04/2025: The Hotel Cristallo is a small and quiet hotel where you can relax very well. The room was clean, bright and friendly. There was no car noise at night. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, the buffet was regularly replenished, or you could ask the extremely friendly staff. What was praiseworthy was the flexibility on the day of arrival, when we were allowed to go into the room from 9:30 a.m. and have breakfast beforehand without registering. The bus stop can be reached within a maximum of 5 minutes on foot, making the hotel a wonderful starting point for activities in the surrounding area, even without a vehicle. The Hotel Cristallo is absolutely and fully recommended if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday.

16/02/2025: We spent another week at the Cristallo, and as always, it was very nice and pleasant. A small but very fine hotel with excellent service. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, there's a lovely wellness area, and the overnight stay includes a very extensive breakfast buffet. In the evening, you can eat in the bistro/restaurant and choose between a four-course menu or à la carte. All the dishes were delicious and the prices were fair. Many thanks to all the staff and the hotel management; we would be happy to come back.
