17/11/2025: We only had a beer in the lounge; the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. The hotel and restaurant close for the winter on November 1st and won't reopen until April.

Thank you for the fantastic pictures you've shared with us, including those from the guests. Below, you can also descend to Niederdorf. The panoramic view is magnificent, the location is ideal, and the house exudes a particularly cozy atmosphere... simply wonderful!

27/02/2025: Vale la pena certamente di raggiungere Sarentino perchè Braunwirt merita una visita. Abbiamo scelto la degustazione di 4 portate a scelta dello chef già riportate nel menù, per le quali comunque viene chiesto se vi siano alimenti non graditi, così da evitare brutte sorprese. Partiti con vari pani di loro produzione, in accoppiamento a 3 tipologie di burro squisiti, a seguire le quattro portate comprendenti un tartare indimenticabile, piatti squisiti, complessi, esteticamente perfetti. Carta dei vini non particolarmente estesa, ma ricercata comprendente anche proposte, insolite, del territorio (vignaioli indipendenti). Servizio ottimo, conto nella norma considerando la qualità complessiva. Unica piccola pecca il locale, in effetti non di mio particolare gradimento per la vicinanza dei tavoli e le sedute, così da sentirsi più a Milano che non in Alto Adige, ma è un dettaglio.

23/02/2025: Che dire un esperienza davvero interessante, capitati per caso, abbiamo pranzato per la prima volta un sabato di dicembre, ci siamo tornati per due domeniche di febbraio consecutive con degli amici. Il cibo, e l'accoglienza tutto davvero ottimo. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare, a presto. Raffaella

11/11/2025: No doubt that their pizzas taste amazing, yet on Sundays it is crazy in there for the long wait time to be seated and to get your food. Yet worthy the wait for it was delicious, fresh, amazing ingredients & taste. The service was slow due to the crowd, but the lady who served us was so kind & helpful. We loved the place, & it was fun to go inside while it was raining & witness snow from the window while having our pizzas. Highly recommended, make sure to go early as possible on Sundays as they don't have any reservations. First come first serve.

03/11/2025: It was awful! We waited over an hour for our food while people who ordered pizza to go were given priority. On top of that, the service was chaotic and they couldn't get anything right.

07/12/2025: Oberon is cheap and cheerful serving excellent food that would cost two or three times more a couple of doors down. It is basic, relaxed, with very pleasant staff.

06/12/2025: A small restaurant that vaguely recalls the taverns of the past, spartan in its furnishings but with a kitchen behind the scenes that you would not expect, everything delicious, fast and efficient service and a friendly and helpful owner.

10/08/2025: I was looking for a different hotel Santer but look at that, you guys are a wonderful resort for wellness and holidays. Great pictures often say more than a thousand words, but we also need words that are well-disposed and vibrate high to maintain our heart level without being dependent on them. It brightens up the day and multiplies itself here on this platform worldwide anyway. I wish you a wonderful summer. It's nice that I already have you here on my phone. Yes, it is recommendable, no question.

07/08/2025: 1. A request for a one-week stay for two people, including accessibility by car, for January 26 was already made in May 25! 2. I was told to call again in August 25. By then, they had assessed the needs of regular guests and might be able to offer something. There was no response regarding accessibility. After repeated inquiries, the information was received. 3. The second request was then made in August 25. 4. A room was offered without any consideration of needs, with a reference to moving to a room – a single room… There are two of us. CONCLUSION: This kind of behavior is fundamentally inappropriate for a service-oriented establishment that sees itself as a host. And this in South Tyrol. Unbelievable but true! No thanks! Fortunately, South Tyrol has much, much better to offer.

23/09/2025: When hiking to the small Montiggler Lake, you absolutely have to stop at the self-service restaurant. The food is simple but excellent. And the surroundings, location, and atmosphere are first-class. I've been coming here since 1969!

22/11/2025: We ate very well, the food was delicious, the Florentine steak and the semolina gnocchi with ragù were delicious, the chestnut tiramisu was fabulous.

05/11/2025: A hotel housed in an industrial building that has been well preserved and renovated. Quiet and clean, with a decent breakfast and excellent value. Plus, the vintage garage.

11/08/2025: We came to dinner at the Bistrò restaurant and it was a lovely surprise! The dinner was truly excellent. The venison carpaccio with fresh grilled porcini mushrooms was exquisite! Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back...

06/09/2025: First, the criticisms why we didn't give it 5 stars: Our room was only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. This should be included in the room description. The room had a sloping roof, which is critical for people over 1.8m tall. The bed was very low, and there was a hard wedge about 10cm wide between the mattresses, which was uncomfortable. The room had a clean, long-haired pile, which we don't think is ideal. What bothered us most was that there was only one towel per day for the sauna and pool. There were no additional towels in the sauna. We find this very unhygienic. A shame for such a great sauna area. The afternoon snack was only available from 4 to 5 and was very limited. If it weren't for the above-mentioned shortcomings, we would have given it 5 stars. Super friendly service staff. The dinner was excellent. We would still come back.
