25/06/2025: A very friendly welcome, we were shown around the hotel, and everything was explained. At first glance, we didn't think the hotel's location was that great – more like it was at the end of the world – but you have to go up to the roof terrace first! A fantastically beautiful area! And the beautiful hotel park! The entire building is tastefully decorated, everything is clean and bright. We even had two windows in the bathroom, and the toilet also had a large window. Our room was really large, with a spacious entrance area with a coat rack, shelves, and a longer corridor to the room itself. However, the wardrobe could have been larger or different; there were no additional shelves, just rods for hanging things. The wellness area is very nice, and the newly opened Sky Spa is truly a success. As in any hotel – if everyone didn't reserve a lounger unnecessarily, there would be enough space for everyone. But don't get upset. The dining room is well laid out; we were lucky and were in a very small, separate area, so it was quiet and relaxing while eating. The food itself – The selection of salads/antipasti could be a bit more extensive; in some cases, the salad bowls were almost empty shortly after 7 p.m. But we certainly didn't go hungry :-) We really enjoyed the food. We found the staff to be very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I mean all areas, not just the restaurant. All in all, we spent a wonderful Easter holiday here. We can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience and are sure we will return.

27/06/2025: I ate here for two months and I must say that: Sometimes you have to wait a long time for waiters. Sometimes they confuse orders. Sometimes I was charged different prices for the same dishes. To summarize, the pork ribs here are the most delicious, and the tiramisu is the worst I've ever had. The ice cream is very good, but the pasta and pizza are mediocre.

Unser Gasthof, im Süden Südtirols, ist sonnig und ruhig gelegen, abseits von Verkehr und Lärm." Südtiroler Küche. Park- und Wandergelegenheiten, großer Innen- und Außenbereich. Man macht etwas falsch, wenn man in der Gegend ist und nicht dort hingeht.

21/06/2025: The hotel is beautifully situated above Brixen with a fantastic view. The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The reception, the restaurant, the rooms, and the wellness area are all very nice. The service was outstanding. We always received exceptionally good service and advice. We particularly liked the fact that it is a small, quiet hotel. Our children still had a great time! The dinner was excellent. We had a wonderful week and would love to come back!

08/06/2025: The name says it all - on our motorcycle trip through Italy and the Balkans, the view from the balcony of our room at the "Fernblick" was by far the best. We got this clean room spontaneously for two nights without prior booking, as our originally planned guesthouse wasn't available. There's a delicious, generous breakfast buffet and covered parking for our own two- or four-wheeler right next door. We didn't have dinner, so no review for that :) Although the hotel is located quite far outside of Brixen on the mountain, you can be down to the town in seven minutes in normal traffic. I can't confirm other reviews that it would take 20 minutes by car, unless you're unlucky enough to get stuck behind a bus. A restaurant serving local food and drinks is 100 meters away, also within walking distance, if you don't want to eat there.

06/07/2025: We had a very pleasant evening at the restaurant. We discovered the inn through the menu and were not disappointed. We were impressed by the regionality of the dishes and ingredients, along with the high quality of the food. The service was attentive and pleasant, and the sommelier guided us well through the evening. The prices are rather moderate for fine dining. The view is, of course, magnificent, and the dining room is pleasantly rustic. Overall, a recommendation!

22/07/2025: Architetto con la passione del vino (e che passione), Elena Walch ha forse trovato nel suo piccolo bistrot di Termeno la sintesi perfetta delle sue idee, che coniugano l'ecosostenibilità con la qualità e la bellezza. Le verre capricieux si affaccia sulla valle del lago di Caldaro con una splendida vista sulle montagne circostanti. Chiaramente i vini di Elena Walch sono il 'piatto forte', ma tutto il menù - essenziale - è interessante senza essere pretenzioso (menzione per i dolci accompagnati al passito). E' logico la qualità e il panorama si pagano, ma il ristorante non è particolarmente caro (piatto degustazione più un calice vino si resta dentro i 20 euro) e vale decisamente una visita.

01/07/2025: Location easy to reach on foot from the center or by car with several parking spaces nearby. You can eat inside in different rooms or outside. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Wide selection of pizzas all really good. You can also request lactose-free mozzarella. The dishes of the kitchen are also very good. Recommended!

Nicht nur das die Speisen die wir hatten (Vorspeisen,Pizza, Schnitzel und Nachtische) sensationell lecker waren... auch Chef und sein Restaurantpersonal waren superlieb und haben uns begeistert. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 31 Leuten hier, alle Bestellungen (a la Carte) waren sehr gut und auch auf individuelle Wünsche wurde perfekt eingegangen. Besonders war der Bereich um den Pizzaofen: man konnte zuschauen, wie die Pizza zubereitet wurde- vielen Dank an den tollen Pizzabäcker!!! Alle Gäste aus unserer Gruppe waren hochzufrieden und wir werden im nächsten Skiurlaub sicher wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Bewirtung und für den wundervollen Abend den wir hatten.

27/03/2025: Excellent Hotel with spacious and very clean rooms and a nice terrace. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice of both sweet and savory at the buffet. Staff attentive to every need. Applause to everyone for the welcome. Too bad, only, for the pool too small. Hotel near the TAUFERS Castle worth a visit, to the Riva waterfalls and to go skiing with a convenient ski bus. Not to forget the nice afternoon snack. Equipped with a covered garage for a fee (10.00 euros per day)

08/07/2025: If you are thinking about eating here- trust me, just don’t. My sister ended up having food poisoning and throwing up the whole night. The food was not fresh at all but rather tasted as if it had been heated up after a few days in the microwave with ounces of oil. Overall the worst food experience my family and I had in a long time.

25/06/2025: We booked the vacation apartment separate from the main hotel, so I can't say much about the rooms themselves. The apartment has enough space for a family, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there's parking available. The breakfast at the Schaurhof left nothing to be desired: fresh fruit, regional sausage and cheese, cakes, juices, eggs, and a large selection of bread and rolls. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try dinner, but given the quality of the breakfast, it can only be delicious; we'll definitely try it again on our next vacation.
