14/02/2026: Really terrible experience. I waited over two and a half hours for the food to arrive, and I got a kebab pizza that didn't even have any kebab. There were three pieces of kebab. Really very disappointed. I thought it would be much better, and it doesn't seem like a kebab pizza at all.

03/03/2026: Nice place, but we didn't manage to eat anything because we arrived at the busiest time when the bar is closed and the restaurant isn't open yet. But the worst thing was the owner's gruff and unfriendly attitude.

02/03/2026: Very good food at reasonable prices in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, it's self-service, and I was unlucky enough to have to wait in line forever. The kitchen staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the woman at the buffet/food counter spent almost 20 minutes yelling (at the kitchen staff, but also at guests). Things were a bit friendlier at the bar.

02/03/2026: A highly recommended place to stay. The owners are very friendly, professional, and, last but not least, extremely flexible: Changes to bookings are no problem, and even with half-board, dietary requests and changes are readily accommodated. The value for money is excellent. We were completely satisfied with our stay.

08/12/2025: We found it by chance, as all the restaurants in the center of Castelrotto were closed. It was around 1:30 PM, and when we called, they told us the kitchen was open until around 2 PM. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us kindly, which wasn't exactly expected given the hour. We ate very well, both the dumplings in broth and the excellent venison goulash. The restaurant is five minutes from the center (you need to take the car), but definitely recommended for a quiet stay and good food.

23/12/2025: What a beautiful hotel! First, let's talk about the location in Weißenbach. The hotel is situated more or less right at the entrance to the village and is surrounded by beautiful, high mountains. From there, you can embark on some wonderful and challenging hikes, for example, to the Oberer Moosboden or the Chemnitzer Hütte. The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and always stocked with fresh (free) water. At breakfast, you're very kindly asked for anything you need and can indulge in the abundant selection at the buffet. Dinner is prepared with so much care and is always plentiful. You can usually choose from one or two appetizers and desserts, and the main courses are generally served in three portions. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and the owner is very dedicated and approachable. All in all, you simply feel comfortable here as a guest and would love to return. Thank you to the team for a wonderful vacation!

18/12/2025: We spent three wonderful days at the Berghotel Alpenfrieden in Rio Bianco and couldn't have asked for more. It was a perfect vacation in every way. Andreas's welcome was truly exceptional: he made us feel welcome right away with his professionalism and warmth. The entire team was incredible: kind, attentive to our every need, and always smiling. The hotel is ideally located for those seeking true relaxation. Rio Bianco is an authentic village where a unique peace reigns and there are very few people, making it a true paradise for unwinding. We loved the annex: the pool and sauna are wonderful, and our little girl had a blast, making her stay special too. The cuisine is excellent, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes, and the cleanliness is unbeatable throughout the property. All this at an excellent value. In short: an experience with top marks. Heartfelt thanks to Andreas and all the staff; we'll definitely be back!

28/02/2026: I spent a wonderful week at this hotel in February 2026 as a base for skiing in the Val Gardena resorts. Access was easy, and the favorable rental price made up for the longer journey. It's also a pleasure to drive along the winding mountain roads, which aren't very common here. The very friendly, communicative, and helpful owners are also a great encouragement.

22/02/2026: We can't say we ate badly, but being made fun of is... the very distracted waiter brought the wrong appetizer and then changed it, but in the meantime I was eating and my wife was watching me. We ordered half a liter of house wine and no one told us that they only served wine by the glass at a price of more than €5 each, then we had a coffee. I asked for the bill and paid trustingly... when we got home we realized that the coffees on the bill were 2 and that the half liter of wine cost us more than €20... dishonest, never to see you again

15/02/2026: We tried this restaurant outside the hotel and I have to say we were very happy, we can't wait to go back! Very kind, friendly, and truly welcoming waiters ☺️ high-quality, well-prepared food. Perfectly plated and served. Everything was delicious 🤤😍 the dessert, chestnut tiramisu, a discovery 😍😍 well-deserved tip!

17/02/2026: I had dinner with some colleagues who had been there previously. I had a kamut pizza with vegetables. Excellent and light. The staff was friendly and helpful.

07/02/2026: Wait, I ate two takeaway pizzas in the camper. Delicious.

02/03/2026: The soup was delicious, perfect for warming up on a cold day, and the spacious seating made for a comfortable atmosphere. The bathroom was also spacious and clean.

21/02/2026: The service is fast but very crowded. The price found a bit expensive compare to a reataurant up in the mountain. For a cup of warm apple juice is 5 eur. My pizza was too much cheese. The view is great.

31/12/2025: We ordered some takeout pizzas. They were very good, with a light, easy-to-digest dough.

30/12/2025: Never again. The food was okay, but nothing more. The service was absolutely terrible. Every order was wrong. The main course arrived together with the appetizer. And the food arrived very late. It gave the impression of mass processing.

21/02/2026: The view is beautiful and the food is delicious!!!!! Don't go to the cheap and expensive places near Lake Bryce, eat here on the way down. The spinach gnocchi is really delicious ㅜㅜ Actually, it gets a little boring as you eat it, but the first time I ate it, it was so delicious I thought I'd faint...

30/01/2026: This is where the locals eat. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The spaghetti carbonara tasted like it was made at home. The broth with dumplings was excellent, and the truffle ice cream was delicious.
