A stop on the Via Francigena, nine of us dined here and ordered several different dishes, and everything was delicious! The husband and wife team take care of everything themselves; the pasta and desserts are homemade. Don't miss the Ricciolina cake and the caramelized pear in crème brulee.

Ristorante Da Pode all' Hotel Sovestro

01/02/2026: What struck me most was the staff's extreme courtesy, politeness, kindness, and attentiveness. The location, too, deserves a 10/10, where peace and tranquility reign supreme amidst the green Tuscan hills. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, with absolutely everything you could possibly need! Highly recommended!
14/01/2026: If you're staying in San Gimignano, I highly recommend this place. The breakfast is delicious, and there's a wide variety of desserts. The homemade cakes are all delicious. I had dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly. The room was in great condition. The Cypress Road access road to the hotel was also fantastic!

03/05/2026: Having found no availability at the restaurant we'd chosen, this place was recommended to us. We couldn't have been more fortunate. A small restaurant with only a few seats, we were treated like never before, with top-quality products paired with meticulous attention to detail. We ordered charcuterie and cheese platters and a mix of tartare and carpaccio, all delicious. Alex looked after us perfectly, a great guy and very knowledgeable. Top Vernaccia Highly recommended
