09/08/2026: The service is very nice and original, and the food is good, but it's also something I can easily make at home: a mixed appetizer, vegetable penne, penne all'amatriciana, dessert, coffee, liqueur, water, and white wine. €50 for two. The cost is reasonable. The manager and waiter are very friendly. It's a great place to spend an evening. They also offer games, and the desserts are topped with unique toppings.

06/08/2026: We celebrated our wedding here 31 years ago. Last night we returned, and surprise of surprises, "the world is changing," and we were transported into a fairytale. The owner, a charming eccentric, led us on a fun and immersive tour in an environment designed to make you feel at ease. Don't expect fancy food, just simple fare, and above all, prepare to laugh, relax, and have fun. I recommend it to everyone, but especially to open-minded people. Thank you for making our 31st anniversary an evening to remember.

12/08/2026: The food is excellent. Truly, it's one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted in Italy. Excellent ingredients, fresh and tasty. A good selection. The staff is punctual and extremely kind. The online reservation is excellent, although you have to confirm it twice... understandable. Excellent location, although there are some improvements that could be made with a silly expense of €2-300: a second row of gazebos, more outdoor mats, and more powerful fans for those poor souls working in the oven. I emphasize, this is a customer's opinion, easily contradicted! Near perfection in terms of both the offerings and the setting.

The cuisine is delicious, featuring traditional Italian dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The decor is elegant and distinctive, with a touch of old-world charm that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The wine list is excellent, with an interesting selection of local wines. The true heart of the restaurant is Mr. Carlo, a unique presence at San Paolo. A great chatterbox, he's always ready to share his incredible story, which saw him transition from pastry making to cooking, creating a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. His warm welcome and attention to detail make him a true ambassador for the restaurant. With great charm and passion, he manages to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making every customer feel at home, recommending the daily specials and selecting the finest wines. His energy and zest for life are contagious, and made our dinner at San Paolo an unforgettable experience. We ordered: Pappardelle with duck ragù; Paccheri with scorpionfish ragù; Sea bass and red mullet millefeuille; Fresh tuna steak with rosemary on sweet and sour onions; Cheesecake; Apple charlotte, wine, and coffee. We spent €96, which was definitely worth it for the quality of the food and service. We will definitely be back.

18/07/2026: An upscale restaurant located a short distance from Pisa’s bustling tourist area. Great atmosphere, phenomenal cuisine, and excellent wines. We recommend letting the staff suggest a wine to pair with your meal. Very friendly service. Very reasonable prices. A restaurant we highly recommend for a wonderful evening.
