18/08/2025: I stayed at Villa Nencini and was truly thrilled. The location is perfect: just steps from the historic center of Volterra, yet nestled in a tranquil setting with a splendid view of the Tuscan hills. The property has an authentic charm, with spaces that retain the typical atmosphere of a Tuscan villa. The rooms are comfortable and clean, some with truly breathtaking panoramic views. A highlight is definitely the pool, surrounded by greenery and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always ready to welcome you with a smile and offer helpful advice to make the most of your stay. In short, Villa Nencini is the ideal place for those seeking authenticity and relaxation, all just steps from the wonders of Volterra. I will definitely be back!

09/08/2025: A lovely hotel for relaxing. About a 5-minute walk to the center of Volterra. We booked with breakfast included. Breakfast was okay, but the service left something to be desired. Nevertheless, we can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

22/08/2025: We stayed in Volterra for a day, we had dinner in this place with a welcoming atmosphere, excellent food and pizza, fast and very kind and friendly owner.

06/08/2025: We had delicious pizzas. A nice thin crust, not greasy, really delicious! We paid €30 for two large pizzas and two drinks, so it was very affordable. The staff is also very friendly, and the view from the terrace is breathtaking.

07/07/2025: Absolutely amazing experience here. Our waiter, who also acted like a bouncer was very friendly and helpful. We sat right in front of the bar and a woman went absolutely crazy, she started throwing with glasses and ripped the shirt of the barman. I don't expect this to be regular, but there definitely was a lot of sensation and it made for some great entertainment. Even though all this happened and the bar was covered in glass and drinks they were still willing to serve us drinks.

31/08/2025: I've been here several times, always trying different specialties. Their "out of the ordinary" pastries are very appealing, but I've often found them dry, lacking in garnishes or flavor, always leaving me a bit disappointed. They look good in the window, but they're not always the best, especially considering the price. I've also often found the tables dirty and the place generally unkempt, which is a shame, because there's potential.

17/08/2025: The rooms are not all serviceable, my partner made a lake to take a simple shower, the air conditioning is a bit too strong, the rest is ok

17/08/2025: Ideal place for a bit of relaxation and for making some excursions on the Nerone, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST and dinner, room 209 clean and everything working, only suggestion a ceiling fan for an afternoon nap 😴 wouldn't hurt

07/09/2025: We found this place on The Fork. Very nice, friendly staff. Excellent first courses and good second courses too. Prices are reasonable. I recommend it.

31/08/2025: The place is dated and not very well kept, with dirty lamps and old tables. The service was almost adequate; we found a gecko on the wall, we mentioned it, and the waitress looked at us strangely, as if it were normal. The food was adequate. Decent beef steak, decent pizza, pasta with Apulian stracciatella, but it wasn't Apulian 😂. Trofie dish with a simple sauce cost €12....a thieves' meal....thank goodness we had a fork, and we saved a little, but honestly, we didn't like it at all. I don't recommend it.

07/09/2025: It gave me the impression of an average restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but the atmosphere wasn't exceptional. The acoustics could be improved.

21/08/2025: Dinner on the road 🚌 during our trip to Tuscany, we were sleeping in Pisa, and the bus 🚍 was the dinner we had. Delicious burgers with excellent quality. Very friendly and welcoming service. I would definitely go back. The side potatoes were super good.

01/06/2025: Nun sind wir schon 7 Jahre in der Region und haben es noch hierher geschafft. Welcher Fehler ! Top Küche , selektive, aber sehr gute Weinauswahl, authentisches Ambiente und sehr fair gepreist

01/06/2025: Sehr freundliche und nette Bedienung welche auch super mit den Hunden umgegangem ist. Sehr liebevoll und spielerisch mit den Kindern, dass diese soch direkt sehr wohl fühlen. Herne wieder!

22/06/2025: We had already been there and the Tuscan pizza 🍕 was confirmed to be of a good standard as were the penne alla maurone, on this occasion there was also the issue of Diolaiuti who, having left the Neapolitan, was ready to break the banks for the rapprochement with the vegans. There was much talk of the cancellation of the bunk beds planned for the new mansion. We saw the crazy girl again.
