31/03/2025: They bring chipped plates to the table and also dirty ones. When I told them that in 30 years of my life I had never seen a restaurant that brings broken plates they replied that it can happen with an air of indifference.

16/03/2025: I went to this pizzeria with my brother, I had an excellent speck and mascarpone. He tasted Arabic bread for the first time and was enthusiastic about both its goodness and the generous portion. The staff is very friendly and immediately puts you at ease. The pizza chef is very good. The two of us spent 28 on a liter and a half drink.

12/05/2025: The food was of very good quality. Unfortunately, my tagliatelle wasn't big enough; I would have hoped for a larger portion for the price. The service wasn't particularly good. When it came time to pay, we waited a long time before we got a waiter's attention. We wouldn't go back.

31/01/2025: Quest’anno la tradizionale reunion di famiglia, prima del Natale, è stata fatta scegliendo questa trattoria. Locale in stile rustico, personale alla mano e cibo squisito. Impeccabile il maialino arrosto e gli gnocchi di spinaci con fonduta di radicchio e taleggio. Porzioni molto abbondanti e prezzo nella media.

31/01/2025: Per il rituale pranzo di famiglia, prima del Natale, abbiamo proprio scelto questo locale, il quale, ci sembrava il posto giusto per tale ricorrenza. Il cibo offerto non è niente male, a me personalmente, sono piaciuti in modo particolare i secondi piatti, anche se tutte le altre portate, sono state degne di nota. Mi ha colpito la bontà del filetto di manzo al pepe rosa e lime, nonché quella del maialino arrosto. Il locale si presenta in stile rustico, ho apprezzato molto la scelta, del resto, nelle campagne toscane è risaputo, che si mangia bene ed a buon prezzo.

26/04/2025: The food is of great quality and the cereal pizza dough is truly excellent. The friendliness of Andrea and the guys who work with him denote professionalism and friendliness to the point of making you feel at home and the environment, although family-like, is decorous and very clean.... It's a real shame that the great work done by these guys is ruined by the unfortunate and rude exits of someone who obviously doesn't work well when under pressure. Those who work in public must know how to manage situations of stress and pressure... railing and shouting in public is of no use as it is harmful to the staff and clearly embarrasses customers. A real shame.

12/04/2025: Location unica,servizi a 5 stelle e accoglienza perfetta. San Miniato merita sicuramente un premio al buon vivere e Palazzo Essenza è il giusto posto al posto giusto. Camere impeccabili e relax assicurato perché grazie al sistema di insonorizzazione il silenzio è la pace dei sensi. Non esistono barriere di nessun tipo anche per i portatori di handicap o diversamente abili,anzi ci sono tutti servizi e presupposti per dare massima accoglienza con spazi dedicati di facile accesso e soluzione ottimale. La chicca delle chicche sono le zone relax, divise fra la visita di vetrine con oggetti di artisti,stilisti e vari capolavori e l’accesso alla meravigliosa vasca idromassaggio a caduta libera e doccia emozionale dove poter dedicare parte del tempo scelto alla cura del proprio corpo. A pochi passi poi la meraviglia del gusto,di buon mattino una colazione da capogiro;pausa pranzo la prelibatezza del fresco dal mare alla terra e viceversa;il pomeriggio l’aperitivo relax più in vista del posto con le chicche deliziose;la cena poi l’appuntamento a cui non si può mancare,atmosfera limited edition,profumi e sapori racchiusi in un unico contesto:Bellezza Toscana. Si può scegliere,la piazza,la veranda,il balcone,le sale interne e il magnifico Rooftop che fa da cornice al modello ESSENZA. 09/03/2025: I wonder how you can propose it as a restaurant. The fact that it was empty (zero people) for lunch on a Sunday made us doubt... but by then we were there... food of poor quality and workmanship, non-existent service, covered by the bar. On the other hand, a listed restaurant price.

22/05/2025: It is located in the center of Volterra, a very suggestive place and with a very picturesque and slightly old-fashioned decor, simple but good food. Very friendly, friendly and sociable staff.

20/04/2025: Il primo buono, ma pagato di più di quanto indicato sul menù, il polpo, come secondo, non era masticabile. X la mia compagna primo vegetariano ok, secondo 2 contorni molto ‘contenuti’ ma pagati 14€. Evidenziato il problema del polpo mi aspettavo almeno offerti i caffè, invece pagato qualche € in più per il mio primo. MAI PIÙ, infatti eravamo in tutto 4 clienti

13/04/2025: Al Pachino ti conquista da subito. Ambiente curato ma capace di farti sentire a casa, personale accogliente e cucina di grande livello. Il menù è ricco e ben studiato dallo chef Luca. I piatti puntano tutto sulla qualità degli ingredienti e ogni portata è presentata con attenzione e cura. Dai primi piatti ai secondi, fino ai dolci, è tutto ottimo grazie anche alla scelta delle materie prime. Fiore all'occhiello la selezione di bistecche. Nota di merito anche per il servizio che in una parola definirei familiare e rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Il punto di forza di Luca è che si percepisce che c’è passione dietro ogni dettaglio. Insomma, un posto perfetto per una cena tranquilla, in famiglia o con amici, un pranzo di lavoro o una serata speciale o romantica. Approvato sotto tutti i punti di vista.
