26/06/2025: Excellent ice cream shop and refreshment point for lunch and dinner breaks

18/06/2025: Had an excellent lunch here with my husband and one year old. They kindly made a baby portion of the beef Ragu and we loved the shaded patio round the back of the restaurant. The gelato for dessert was to die for! I had chocolate and pistachio and the chocolate was so rich and decadent - the perfect hit for a chocoholic. The staff were also very helpful ordering us a taxi back to our hotel. Loved this place!

03/07/2025: Friendly staff and really tasty food. The meats are top quality. We had lunch there ( it’s a cool little place ) and had a takeaway also. You must try it!

19/06/2025: I’m not usually a fan of sandwiches, but this place completely changed my mind. The focaccia I had was absolutely exceptional - fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that felt both authentic and warm.

01/06/2025: Typical Tuscan rustic style room with a view of the square. Perfectly clean. Check in with very kind staff. Too bad we couldn't try the dishes from the spaghetti restaurant, closed for shift that evening! We'll be back!

25/05/2025: We stayed in the room with a bathroom, very nice with typical Tuscan furnishings, clean and functional, many places to put things. The room is on the second floor and can be reached by a slightly steep staircase. The door opens onto a small square a stone's throw from the town center, small, nice and well kept. On the floor below there is the spaghetti shop La Loggia. We had lunch there and everything was delicious, the chickpea soup is gluten-free and delicious. We met the manager briefly, he is very busy, he takes care of the rooms and the restaurant, but very kind. For parking I recommend the parking lot near the park with white lines.

29/06/2025: We were here at 4:00 o'clock when it was supposed to open we then waited 30 Min outside for it to open ... Very disappointing. No excuse were made nor was any discount apply. Don't go there not worth it

And it knows about Tuscan cuisine / Lucca, a medieval city on a human scale where you will also find, so to speak: good food and a moment of serenity. Does that seem like little to you? Bis. Guys I'm back and the situation has improved!! Please don't miss the tortelli alla lucchese!! Unique and wonderful.

08/06/2025: If there were 10 stars I would give them with my eyes closed! Password… family! I organized my baby's baptism in this restaurant and it was a great success! Friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency… everyone with a smile and a great desire to make this event special! A real family! Excellent food, super welcoming place, impeccable cleanliness and a great view! We will definitely be back, even for a simple lunch/dinner. It can be a refreshment point after visiting the pretty town of Vetriano and its wonderful little theater, famous throughout the world!

01/06/2025: Booked by chance. The detour is absolutely worth it. Classic but perfect environment: welcoming, clean, tidy. The staff is uniquely kind. People who know how to do their job: at a glance they noticed that some supposedly older women behind us were suffering from the draft from the French window and closed it a little. It's perhaps silly, but the customers didn't have to ask. Even though it was a communion lunch, we didn't wait any longer than it took to prepare the courses. Everything was excellent: top quality. We had a mixed appetizer of croutons, cheese and cold cuts with fried pasta, fillet and lamb chops. Everything was perfect. Cooked as requested. The tiramisu is the envy of mine. And those who know me...know!!!! The price was right, even a little low! Small outdoor garden with sofas for relaxing before/after lunch/dinner. View of the valley and parking. If it weren't for the fact that I'm too far away, I would come back regularly!

10/06/2025: Restaurant in Viareggio that a friend of mine recommended to me. Very rich menu. I ate the mussels stuffed with meat with tomato sauce. The large mussel shells filled with lots of meat but little trace of the mussels. Spaghetti allo scoglio with very fresh clams while the mussels were clearly quite dated, in the whole dish only a nice full-bodied one. Other fish did not arrive. At the bottom of the plate a lot of water from the not exactly perfect draining. The spaghetti cooked well even if a little salty. Very kind staff and fast service....... Offered a digestive at the end of the meal.

27/05/2025: Ho mangiato alla Stanza del gusto solo in pausa pranzo , in effetti il locale si sviluppa in una unica sala con una piccola estensione in veranda esterna che però sconsiglio in quanto il pavimento si muove ad ogni passaggio dei clienti, buona proposta di menu’ di lavoro, piatti di terra e di mare semplici ma di ottima qualità , eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo , forse uno dei migliori della zona, buoni anche i dolci, servizio rapido , una menzione ai tovaglioli di qualità e alle 2 forchette come coperto. Consigliato a chi vuole mangiare bene in contesto di cucina casalinga. Locale pet friendly. Un punto in meno per lo sgradevole calendario fascista in bella mostra su una mensola che nulla ha a che fare con il buon gusto, anzi…

13/06/2025: Restaurant that certainly has a great history but that seems to have lost with the passage of time. Improvised and inadequate preparation of dishes for the prices. It seems that in the kitchen there is the usual Pakistani who has no idea how to prepare traditional fish dishes
