10/03/2024: Good food and very nice presentation. Portions not always adequate: the pigeon, in my opinion, wasn't even half... Some notes, of no less importance: the bread bin is unwatchable, as is the cutlery rest. Not excusable: the waiter who changed our cutlery smelled like smoke!

01/03/2024: Giovedì 29 febbraio, alla faccia della presunta sfiga dell’anno bisestile, con amici, abbiamo passato una serata da terzo cerchio (quello dei golosi) nel tempio della bistecca: Da Alan a Camaiore. Come ogni volta, materia prima straordinaria, cucinato perfetto! Nell’attesa della grigliata mista e della fiorentina di Chianina, che avevamo ordinato, abbiamo assaggiato un mini antipasto: tartare di filetto di manzo di Fassona, battuta al coltello e condita al tavolo, immancabile prosciutto di Cinta Senese, salame Toscano, crostini misti, compresi quelli con fegatelli, olive nostraline e cipolle all’aceto rosso. Tutto in quantità ridotte per non rovinarci il piatto forte, a questi stuzzichini, abbiamo abbinato il solito Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2021, cantina Michele Satta. Che dire della grigliata e della fiorentina, non potevano che essere una conferma positiva delle scorse esperienze, stupende, succulente, morbide, cotture insuperabili. Pochi contorni, i fagioli all’olio nuovo “Laudemio” di Frescobaldi, patate arrosto alla toscana e rapini saltati in padella. Con i secondi abbiamo bevuto il Pietranera, un vino dell’azienda Piaggia Carmignano - di Marco Vannucci, IGT Rosso strepitoso, un abbinamento con la carne straordinario. Per dolci una mousse di yoghurt con frutti di bosco cotti, una mini Pawlova con meringhe, panna e frutti di bosco cotti, un sorbetto alla mela verde, con Calvados: tutto rigorosamente di loro produzione. Per finire un paio di “Ponce” alla Livornese: perfetto, vedi gli strati di liquore e caffè della foto. Immancabili graditi saluti di Manuela e Alan a fine pasto, con cicchetti. Riassumendo, rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale, orientamento al cliente totale. Se non conoscete il locale provatelo: meglio prenotare. P.S. Di fronte alla Bisteccheria di Alan, trovate anche la sua enoteca. In alternativa alla cena, trovate salumi, pecorini super, crostini della tradizione e anche piatti di carne. Vasta offerta di vini di nicchia di altissima gamma.

25/02/2024: Da vera amante della ciccia, questo ristorante è uno dei miei preferiti. La ragazza è gentilissima e in grado di consigliarti il taglio e il tipo di carne più adatta ai tuoi gusti. Antipasti top e porzioni davvero abbondanti. Contori vari e buonissimi. Provate e non ne rimarrete delusi. A presto!

01/04/2024: Years later, we returned to this place and we had proof that it is always sublime.. Very welcoming and warm location.. Attentive waiters even if a little hasty...and dishes done as they should...simple but with attention to the smallest details.. Thank you for this culinary experience.. we will be back soon!

19/10/2023: Wir waren mit Freunden unterwegs und haben hierher eingeladen. 4 Personen. Die Tische sind gepflegt eingedeckt, der Wind weht kühl vom Meer, Schatten- und Sonnenplätze unter Palmen. Die von uns bevorzugten Plätze "unter Palmen" sind jedoch nur noch selten eingedeckt, stattdessen werden die neuen Tische direkt an der Promenade angeboten. Hier können zwar die dicht daran entlang flanierenden Spaziergänger beobacht werden, aber das stört die Gespräche und Ruhe beim Essen. Die Portionen sind deutlich kleiner geworden. Muss sich die Küche neu interpretieren? Die Preise haben angezogen. Wir hoffen sehr, dass die bisher erlebte Balance von Ambiente, Service, Qualität und Preis wieder zurück kommt. Einen Besuch machen wir noch.

09/09/2023: Bathroom nothing to say, kind and welcoming but the restaurant at the entrance on the left is really bad, the worst pinsa or pizza of my life, green "Taggiasca" olives and obviously not Taggiasca, the sauce very Chinese and indigestible, leave the rest alone, Unfortunately the food isn't good, but everyone is nice.

05/09/2023: Medium-sized beach establishment, with adjoining bar, restaurant, very friendly staff. friendly. very well kept and clean beach, free from cigarette butts and waste. The beach facilities are well maintained very noisy sunbeds and parasols that creak... Prices normal. Overall a good establishment.

12/10/2023: How can you say that the pizza is excellent... after two pieces I didn't want any more... heavy and with low quality ingredients... never again.

09/10/2023: Siamo stati in questa pizzeria stasera e abbiamo trovato una cortese e gentile accoglienza da parte del proprietario ottima pizza eseguita a regola d arte dal bravissimo pizzaiolo con prodotti di grande eccellenza. Cenare nel patio esterno é piacevole . Sicuramente la consiglio. Presa la patata farcita come antipasto...buonissima. Sicuramente se in zona ritorneremo.
