12/08/2024: Very friendly and hospitable. Delicate, very tender "Pepe" pepper steak and fish. The tiramisu has a clear coffee note and the mascarpone has vanilla added (perhaps pudding?) Highly recommended! Price-performance is great!

25/08/2024: Dispiace fare una recensione negativa,ma stanno aumentando troppo i prezzi,mangiare banale,la stessa roba che nei giorni feriali paghi 12 euro..senza neanche un pò di caccia,fatto pagare di sabato 34 euro a persona,è veramente troppo!Non so cosa si siano messi in testa,ma con la stessa cifra ,mangio il pesce a Viareggio!

16/08/2024: Avevamo prenotato 6 pizze per le ore 20.00, alle 20.30 ci viene detto che le pizze erano cadute e dovevano rifarle… dopo mezz’ora che eravamo lì a capire cosa fosse successo… alle 20.50 le pizze erano pronte!! Servizio un po’ scadente, per fortuna che le pizze però buone!!

02/08/2024: Every time there are concerts in Lucca, a stop at Tana del Boia is a must. The food was splendid, rich and enjoyable. The welcome was kind, engaging but not intrusive. The service was fast and very helpful, the music in the background was spot on. The place inside with air conditioning is small but familiar, the stools are beautiful. Abroad, at the foot of the churchyard of San Michele there are some tables protected by umbrellas. Aperitif? Appetizer? Lunch? Dinner? Suitable for everything, with genuine, local and quality products. You will want to taste everything.

09/08/2024: Typically Italian dishes (a change from pizzas!), varied and approved even by children. A light tiramisu. With this heat, air conditioning is welcome during the lunch break. Unbeatable value for money.
