02/09/2025: We went there at the end of our stay in the region, and we received a warm and friendly welcome (I only speak a few words of Italian, and no better in English). And I must say that we regretted not having gone there sooner, because that would have allowed us to return. The ravioli with ragu as a starter and the sliced ​​beef with Parmesan on top were a real treat. And the wine, even in a bottle, was pleasant to drink. If you have any allergies, let them know in advance and you won't have any problems. Both the seafood and meat dishes are excellent.

16/08/2025: I went to this restaurant on August 14th. It was my birthday dinner. I just have to say the staff was fantastic! They went above and beyond to accommodate a problem I had! The food was excellent. We had appetizers (each better than the last), then two second courses of both fabulous first courses. We'll definitely be back. Well done, well done.... And thank you 😘

16/08/2025: A good restaurant. Nice place, friendly and professional staff. We ordered seafood salad (plenty), pici with monkfish (excellent), octopus and mashed potatoes (good), cod with chickpea cream (excellent), and gnocchi for the little boy. Overall, we ate well and got the right price. Recommended.

07/09/2025: My husband and I love this place. They specialize in fish/seafood and it’s always so fresh. The selection changes sometimes. The food is incredible. I love the spaghetti with arselle (tiny clams), their mussels and fish dishes are always cooked to perfection. Save room for their little beignets stuffed with custard. Life changing!

20/08/2025: A quiet restaurant with a variety of options at reasonable prices. We tried the tasting menu, and the chef was incredibly willing to create vegetarian dishes specifically for one of our guests. Even though we chose the traditional menu, I expected a little more originality given that the restaurant is listed in the Michelin guide. No real surprises, but the quality and service were textbook. I would perhaps have avoided the chocolate cake as a dessert, since it's available in any trattoria.

15/08/2025: NIGHTMARE!!!!!! I wish I could, but I can't... Run away, avoid going before you regret it!!!! Poor food, terrible quality, a tasting menu that deserves to be returned. Poor-quality, poorly cooked fish. Poor service, and rude and ignorant staff who even insulted and assaulted us. The final gem: After paying and leaving, we were told our reservation was cancelled to avoid a review on The Fork. I'll post the photos here, judge for yourselves. The beauty! Shame on you, scammers!!!!!!

09/09/2025: Everything just fits together. You order food at the counter (after a detailed explanation), take-out drinks, and tap water yourself. Everything's fine once you understand the principle. Staff: super friendly 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Atmosphere: harmonious and pleasant (each table is given a picture with a name assigned when ordering... we sat at Umberto). Food: SUPER. We had the bruschetta as a starter, three different creams with toppings, then pasta cacio e pepe and ravioli - all very, very delicious. A good place for pasta in Lucca

24/08/2025: Very interesting trattoria, good food, warm welcome. We had dinner with friends, a typical Tuscan trattoria without too many frills. The chef is excellent, combining tradition with a touch of innovation. If you have particular expectations, this place isn't for you, but if you want good, quality food at a reasonable price, I recommend it.

26/08/2025: A very welcoming restaurant. The owner is very knowledgeable about wines. The wine cellar is excellent, offering a wide selection from Italy to France and the rest of the world. The food is good. We ate fish, but the menu also offers meat and vegan options. I highly recommend it.

30/08/2025: We had a wonderful time in this lovely trattoria. We were warmly welcomed, the lady who served us was very friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The charcuterie and cheese platter is generous and served with some jams; it was delicious! For the main course, we had the daily special, which was truffle taglioni. And again: it was delicious 👌👌

27/05/2025: Ho mangiato alla Stanza del gusto solo in pausa pranzo , in effetti il locale si sviluppa in una unica sala con una piccola estensione in veranda esterna che però sconsiglio in quanto il pavimento si muove ad ogni passaggio dei clienti, buona proposta di menu’ di lavoro, piatti di terra e di mare semplici ma di ottima qualità , eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo , forse uno dei migliori della zona, buoni anche i dolci, servizio rapido , una menzione ai tovaglioli di qualità e alle 2 forchette come coperto. Consigliato a chi vuole mangiare bene in contesto di cucina casalinga. Locale pet friendly. Un punto in meno per lo sgradevole calendario fascista in bella mostra su una mensola che nulla ha a che fare con il buon gusto, anzi…
