We truly appreciated the meticulous attention to detail, starting with the elegant white ceramic plates embossed with a delicate yellow cone-shaped logo. 09/05/2026: The most delicious, high-quality food I’ve ever had. I’m so happy I found this place. A special thank you to the wonderful and warm staff. Because of my train, I couldn’t wait for the kitchen to officially open, but they still kindly prepared an incredible seafood pasta for me. It was honestly the best pasta I’ve ever eaten, especially for such an unbelievably good price. I highly recommend this place to everyone. 11/06/2026: BEST SCHIMATA EVER: delicious piadinas, a wide variety, fair prices, and friendly staff. I've been there many times (even sober) and it's always delicious. Highly recommended are the "Atomica," the "Milanese," and the sweet piadinas with Nutella and mascarpone. If you want to eat in, I recommend takeout because there are benches, but they're very busy, especially in the evening.

08/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery in Capezzano Pianore. We spent a memorable evening, pampered by attentive service and a truly pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, especially evident in the freshness of the raw fish. I also particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the bottarga that enriched the first course, creating a truly successful balance of flavors. We will definitely be back to try other specialties.

22/07/2026: The decor is beautiful, and the food is delicious. We tried the local pasta (pici) prepared in several ways, and we absolutely loved the Tuscan ragù. We also highly recommend the chef's daily pasta special, as it changes regularly and is always a delightful surprise. The service was superb; we'll definitely be back.

23/06/2026: Great little find in the town. We did the pasta making class with Angela and she was the best! We went back for dinner twice. Great menu and atmosphere, and very friendly staff, with lots of laughs. Felt like home.

12/07/2026: We had dinner at Baffardello and found the staff very welcoming, helpful, and polite. The appetizers and first courses were truly excellent, made with quality ingredients. The value for money was also excellent. Congratulations!

02/06/2026: The hotel is very nice, with a pool, garden, small children's playground, pool bar (which wasn't open in May), and a very good restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our well-being, and we had a lovely room with two balconies. There was also a lift, but it was quite slow. Large communal terraces offered stunning views of the lake. There was a wooden shed for storing our bikes and a large parking area for the car. The only drawback was the small breakfast room in the basement, which I personally found uninviting, but breakfast itself was adequate.

01/06/2026: Good location in a quiet area right in front of Lake Massaciuccoli. Excellent services and good food, an excellent base for visiting Lucca and the Viareggio Riviera and beyond. Prices are reasonable.

09/01/2026: We visit Sarah and Renato almost every year when we're on holiday in Capannori and always look forward to eating the most delicious pizza in the area. I always make a reservation from Germany for at least two evenings, and it always works out perfectly. Amazing pizza, lovely service! We'll be back again and again!

14/07/2026: one of the best restaurants i've ever been to. prices, food, and service, as well as athmosphere and location, all perfect. it's a bit far away from the main roads, but absolutely worth it. it's very meat based, so I wouldn't suggest it to vegetarians or vegans. if you're in the area, you have to go!

15/05/2026: For lunch with friends, we all came here to eat together, finding several typical local dishes on the menu. We ordered a seafood appetizer, which I honestly thought would come with both raw and cooked ingredients, and not just small plates of cooked food. I was wrong not to ask what it included, but I usually mean everything. €27, good but a bit disappointing for the portion and also for expectations. A Trabaccolara was €24, very good, a tordello with ragù, €16, and a mixed fried calamari and shrimp, €26, again a bit small for the price. Dessert was €9, and water was €4 per bottle. (Cottage charge also €4 per person). A refined place that is still noteworthy for its quality. It's a bit pricey compared to other places, but I wanted to try it, and in the end, apart from the seafood appetizer, the rest is satisfactory. Very fast and friendly service, the place is also very nice inside so I recommend it anyway

07/05/2026: My favorite restaurant for dinner in Lucca. Tuscan beef and the most amazing spaghetti with raw shrimp that cook in the heat of the pasta are my first choices. Gracious staff and creative recipes prepared perfectly in a beautiful setting are what distinguish Osteria Nova from my other top picks in Lucca.

The service was exceptional! The young, friendly staff were attentive, making us feel right at home. The pasta dishes were beautifully crafted, and the wine selection complemented everything perfectly. To top it all off, the mousse au chocolat was a delightful indulgence. With its lovely atmosphere, Osteria Nova is a gem. We highly recommend it for an enjoyable dining experience that we can’t wait to repeat! 🍷✨
