27/04/2026: This restaurant is truly a small oasis of tranquility and authenticity, nestled among the trees and the silence of rural Tuscany. Mrs. Marina and the other waitresses were incredibly kind and friendly! The food is very good, traditional and rustic, with prices that are also below average. I highly recommend it, even just for the atmosphere of dining among the trees.

27/06/2026: There was a party of 80 people dining when we got to the restaurant on a Friday evening. Nevertheless, the service to our table of 2 was excellent, a sign of an exceptionally well run restaurant. The food was excellent, and the piazza vibe while dining outside was lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant.

23/04/2026: Simple service, generous portions, a charming retro atmosphere, more than fair prices, and above all, excellent food—the tordelli in particular were special. Homemade cuisine, the kind that fills you up and makes you want to come back. There's no menu, you just eat what's on offer, which is bound to be excellent, just like grandma's!
There should be more places like this.

08/04/2026: Food to die for - which you might do getting there if you are not careful as the roads are incredibly steep and twisty. But make the effort as wonderful food, incredible views, lovely friendly staff, and very good value at €12 for the set menu (two courses wine and coffee!!!!)

08/04/2026: We were very pleased with the very friendly and helpful staff. Even on a day when they were supposed to be closed, we were served. There were four of us adults and a very welcome dog. Recommended for those who love Tuscan cuisine. The cuisine is vast and delicious.

30/05/2026: Today, during a motorcycle ride, we had lunch at the Eagle's Nest.
Truly excellent food, both the pappardelle with wild boar sauce and the tagliatelle with nettles and sausage sauce were delicious, preceded by an appetizer of fried polenta crostini with mushrooms. A quarter of the house red wine to toast.
The atmosphere is truly relaxing and the staff are extremely friendly.
We'll be back soon to try their other specialties. Highly recommended for those in the area for a hike to the gorge or for a simple stroll in a pristine natural setting.

02/06/2026: We had a very bad and very expensive meal here today. My wife ordered tagliatelle con porcini, and I ordered capretto fritto con verdure fritte. Both dishes were extremely salty. We were the only customers. The music was very loud. The steep, dark stairs to the restrooms are an ordeal, downright dangerous. The bill arrived handwritten on a piece of paper. It was far more expensive than what was listed on the old, greasy menu. I paid without comment because I felt sorry for the owner. We love restaurants that aren't mainstream. But with all due respect, this is unacceptable. The owner should rethink his concept—or simply close down.
02/05/2026: Food with truffles and mushrooms, good portions and excellent quality, quiet and not crowded environment, if you want to satisfy your craving for truffles this is the right place
